[Pyralis Wingrider]
The Lord Holder of Keroon’s fourth and last child, Nevarre grew up to a world of privilege. He was always the last to do things and the lowest on his father’s scale as far as offspring were concerned. So the young boy became his mother’s favorite. He grew up being the perfect gentleman. And then his world was shifted, only a little. His father wanted him to do something important! Something that would make him proud, something that Nevarre could actually achieve!
Achieve it he did. The Expedition of which he was a co-leader of, did find what they were searching for; The Dragonriders of Pern. The many people who were part of the mission were now at the mercy of the dragonriders who obviously still felt a bit upset about the whole banishment thing from 100 turns earlier. Nevarre tried everything to get them to help the North but to no avail. Instead he ended up on the Hatching Sands and impressing the best dragon on Pern.
Not a Bronze, not a brown or a blue but a green. At first he was repulsed by the idea of what he had become, although he came around eventually. Now He and his green, Nemesyth are a fearsome pair, riding in Pyralis Wing.

 Kyrah[Dragon Shield Member]The red head was born to a small Weyr family, her father a typical promiscuous blue rider and her mother a woman of the Caverns. Her uncle took her under his wing when she was young, training her in the ways of combat. As her only father figure she became very close to her uncle. It was an apprenticeship of sorts from a young age to learn to become a Weyrguard. Ky was not the daughter her mother had dreamed about from the beginning. She was a boyish and less warm than other young girls. At the age of sixteen she was tried by Eriol at the behest of her uncle to become one of the illustrious Dragon shield. She passed their tests although as always the red head had a lot to learn. She was given Eve’s egg when she joined and since the little Gold Hatched has spent a good deal of her time perfecting the Gold’s training. About one Turn ago she acquired Leeto, her jungle feline. He too has been well trained. In fact one could say her work and pets are her life. She spends little time socializing and more and more time wishing that the idiots of the Weyr would not reproduce. G’off of Blue Danuth
[Cosmic Weyrling]
Geoff was most likely an oops baby. His parents were much older than when they had his brother Denkin and having none inbetween them meant they had probably been happy with just the one son. He learned quickly as a boy that his parents wanted nothing to do with him, nor did his brother. It seemed the only one who cared at all was his grandfather. A man who fed him all stories about how evil dragons were and that they had to do their part. At an early age Geoff learned that play was not something he would be allowed to do much of though from time to time all children find a way to play. He has an innate sense of humor which was unappreciated by his family and so called friends.
So when it came time for him to be one of the older children so he could finally show his worth they realized he was scrawny. Much to scrawny to be any good with a weapon. Geoff became a thief because he is a fast runner and a deft handed boy. He was ready for harder missions and was finally sent on one with Sorlen. They were captured, slightly tortured and brought to the Weyr. They were being forced to watch a Hatching where both he and Sorlen impressed blue dragons. Only Danuth is no ordinary blue, he is a twin.

[Holdless, "The Queen Killer" ]
Zerik's family was originally from Haven Weyr. He spent most of his childhood there and remembers the cavernous passageways like the back of his hand. His family was exiled from the Weyr when his father killed a rider in a fair duel. Furthering the young Zerik's education in the wrongful treatment of caverns staff by riders. The family found themselves in a small cothold which didn't suit them either as the others around there were loyal to the Weyr in every way. When he met Riverton at the tender age of nineteen, he and his family's knowledge of the Weyr began to be put into use. They began plotting against the dragonriders. At the age of thirty, Zerik killed a Queen dragon and her rider with the help of two of his brothers who were killed in the act.
When the Holdless attacked Refuge, things did not go quite as planned. He is still seething with anger at the loss of such a battle. He puts more effort into practice and staying in shape than ever before. The Dragon Shield are now his primary target. If he can take them out the Weyr will be so much easier to take over.
