It was an ordinary day, running, bath, drills. D’seus was busy, as usual working out new tactics thinking about current events and wondering how he ended up living in such a stressful time. He felt like he was aging faster than he should be. The stress was wearing him out. He needed a break which Zorometh had suggested after the man sat down in his own weyr looking over reports from some of the cotholds which he had sent riders to check up on. They were supposed to be taking precautions during Threadfall and he was disappointed to learn that not everyone was as quick to follow through as he expected them to be. We’re taking a break. The Bronze said finally, lifting off his ledge and answering green Skadyth’s challenge. Time for a break from work! He was going to enjoy his afternoon. D’seus knew a little too late what exactly his Bronze was up to. At this point he could call the Bronze back but what would be the point really? He would only complain about D’seus needing a break for the rest of the day. He did need to get out of his weyr for a bit anyway. The Bronzerider put his boots back on and strode from his weyr. Skadyth, I chase. The Bronze called, knowing that the green would dismiss it as just another suitor answering her call to the skies. He liked greens almost as much as he liked Golds though the Gold Flights won him a bit more prestige. He had yet to win a flight since his accident with the mountain and it was putting a damper on the Bronze’s mood. He needed to fly someone before he went crazy. D’seus understood the Bronze’s frustration. He too was concerned that Zorometh might not get back into the swing of things. The Bronzerider didn’t feel bad about this being a practice flight. Most of the time Bronzes did not win greens so his chances were small to begin with. The next thought in his head was directed toward his over-zealous dragon. Skadyth’s is? Osaris. Oh, pretty blonde, if he remembered correctly and he did seem to have a thing for the blondes didn’t he? Before he knew it he was on his way to her weyr and his dragon was following the swift flying green through the clouds. He was not nearly as quick and got the sneaking feeling the blues would have better luck at catching her than he would. However the Bronze was determined to put his best wing forward and go for it.

F'ren had been in his weyr, sifting through some of the hidework on his table when he felt the initial tug of the green flight. Unlike gold flights they didn't come over F'ren in a wave of emotion, but they were more like a little tinge in his gut. Still, with all of the stressful things that had been going on in the Weyr as of late, namely a new queenrider showing up from Turns ago, the idea of a green flight to relieve some tension was welcoming. Aloroth, are you going to -The Wingsecond was cut off from the rest of his thought as Aloroth answered him with a mighty roar. The brown was perched on the rim of the weyrbowl, his great brown wings spread to showcase their full wingspan. Of course I chase! I have been watching beautiful Skadyth for days now. I will show her the thrill of being with a brown, and you can do the same for her rider. Aloroth's deep, rich voice was filled with confidence, making F'ren's mouth tilt into a grin. Good luck then. F'ren dropped his stylus on the table and headed quickly out of his weyr. The brownrider seemed to know the path to Osaris' weyr without even asking. When he walked in D'seus was already there; F'ren gave the man a nod, but his dark eyes were focused on the greenrider.

Osaris sat on the edge of her bed as she heard footsteps then saw D'seus of all people come into her weyr and smiled. Her thoughts we're that this would please her picky Skadyth that a bronze had chosen to chase after her. The young woman smiled at the bronze rider and then closed her eyes as feelings of lust came over her. A feeling of adventure and flirting came over her as she felt the air go by her wings and yet wasn't she sitting in the weyr. Her body felt as if it was flying around the weyr and that the pair was one instead of separate. Her Skadyth bugled at the sight of only one dragon chasing her even if was a bronze.
"Only one bronze," said Skadyth in a violent tone as she bugled for more challengers and was offended that only one had come. When she turned to see brown Aloroth and she decided to have some fun with the two of them. Her wings we're flapped then she turned up wards and did a mid flight turn to come to land behind her pursuers. While she bugled a bit and then tried to fly past them before moving up wards to use the glare of the sun to her advantage. If the two dragons wanted her then they would have to pursue her with everything that they possessed.
While back in her weyr the green rider was about to loose it to the feelings that she was overcome with it. She noticed as brown rider F'ren entered the weyr and just continued to close her eyes as she begged for release. Her green was toying with their dragons and was not in to ending this any time soon. The young woman would get on her dragon later about dragging this out as it was the only time her dragon showed any emotion. "Just breath," said Osaris as she kept her eyes closed to keep herself from just ending it herself.

K'dan never could figure out how in Pern a free day could be so dang busy. Today was no different. He did his laundry, attended drills, and was mending a few places in Osiriths's straps. They weren't bad, just showing some wear. And safety first for himself and his dragon was very important to him. He was just finishing up when he felt his egyption blue dragon getting excited. Just a few seconds before he heard the challanging bellow from a rising green.
Skayth rises, I go MINE Osirith bugled loudly as he launched from his ledge.
"Huh? What? OUCH!" K'dan said ending in a shout. Jamming his hand with a leather needle when Osirith startled him. Looking at his hand he decided he didn't need the healer, at least not unless it got infected, his dragons thoughts re entered his mind. Green Skayth was rising? That aught to give his Egyptian blue dragon something to do.
Have fun and fly well he encouraged his lifemate.
Stopping to wash up quickly, he headed for Osaris's weyr. When he entered he noticed the blond girl sitting on her bed, and D'seus and F'ren were also there. Nodding at them, he stood close by and linked closer to his dragon.
Beautiful Skadyth, I am here. I'm so much faster and better looking then that slow old brown or bronze! Osirith crooned to the glowing green. Spinning closer to her he did a few Ariel tricks the bigger dragons couldn't do as sharply as he could.

The Bronze liked his chances. He was a strong male and in his prime the others were nothing compared to him. He might not be as agile as the other two but he knew how to impress the greens with his flying. He would follow as best he could and then when the moment was right, snatch the green out from under the other two, all he had to do was be patient. All female dragons began to tire with time. He crooned to the green, letting her know he was still there, following her every move with his eyes, if not always with his body.
Meanwhile, D’seus did his best not to let the tide of emotions coming from his dragon dictate everything he did. He noticed F’ren enter and then shortly after K’dan. The bluerider was younger and perhaps knew the girl better than he or F’ren did but he wouldn’t count himself or the Wingsecond out just yet. Greens were fickle dragons and often chose according to a whim rather than anything that made sense. The feeling of overwhelming confidence coming from his dragon caused him to smile, an easy, slightly cocky smile.
It was time to show the green pair what they were made of. D’seus moved slightly closer to the woman on the bed who seemed to be wishing it were all over. He hoped that she was not one to dread mating flights, otherwise this might be more awkward than he was used to. Waking up with men was something he avoided because he simply had no inclination towards them but women, well, he generally enjoyed his time with women.
Zorometh called after the beautiful green again, this time professing his admiration. The Bronze was not one to be very vocal, generally choosing to show off his physical prowess far more than his mental. Besides greens were far too concentrated on the chase to care much for words most of the time. He simply made sure the females knew that he was still there, going strong, willing to ease that tension rising within them. He was flying faster now that he had warmed up, gaining ground as the others began to get slightly slower. As time passed the Bronze would prove that stamina won over speed.

Aloroth was not overly impressed by Osirith's aerial tricks. The brown was more than content to let the blue tire himself out before the end of the flight. As a brown, Aloroth had great stamina, and a patient, stedfast manner that served him well in mating flights.
Come, come, beautiful Skadyth. I will carry you high and far. The brown promised in his smooth baritone.
There was no question that Zorometh had experience, not just in catching greens, but queens as well. Still, Aloroth had confidence in his wings and in his ability to woo a female dragon.
In the little weyr below, F'ren clenched one of his hands into a fist. It was easy to let himself give in to Aloroth's emotions and overwhelming lust, but the Wingsecond liked to keep himself in check until his dragon won the flight. It was sometimes hard for F'ren to surrender control of himself, and only after a secured catch would F'ren let that happen.

Skydth crooned at her pursuers as she flow higher then flapped her wings to gain speed even if her stamina was starting to wain. She bugled to their challenge then did a dive downwards to the bottom of the weyrbowl as if to prove a point if they'd dare puruse her that far. The green would have them prove themselves to her and wondered whether would be a fast blue or a more agile dragon. Her crooning continued as her frosted green color seemed to be like grass with snow on it in the midsummer's morning. While on the ground her rider could feel the last dive as she gripped the covers on her bed and kept breathing.
The young rider could almost sense the anticipation of the male riders in the room. It was a final decent that only the bravest of the male riders could prove their worth in catching the frosty green. Her rider said, "Come on Skdyth give in let oone of them catch you let it be over," as she was almost pleading for release. Osaris worried that the rider that won would not be kind to her and waited for the end of the flight.
(Everyone post a final post and I'll pm the winner).

Aloroth was not afraid of the dive that the green had gone into. The brown bugled at the challenge, knowing that the green was well worth the exertion he was putting into the flight. Settling his wings against his back to make himself more aerodynamic, Aloroth followed Skadyth quickly on the descent, his eyes focused on her beautiful green hide, the ridge of her back, the graceful curve of her tail.
The other male dragons were in hot pursuit of the green as well and Aloroth didn't know if he would be able to edge them out to catch Skadyth, but he was determined to give it everything he had in the process. F'ren needed this, he needed this, and Aloroth knew that he could treat the green to a fabulous flight, not to mention, he was sure that his rider would take good care of Skadyth's.
On the ground F'ren's heart felt like it might pound out of his chest as Aloroth dove after the green. Everything about Osaris at that moment was alluring to the Wingsecond- the glint of her hair in the light of the weyr, the rise and fall of her chest, the way her smooth skin called to be touched. Come on, Aloroth!

Osirith was slightly below the shinning green Skydth when she made her dive and challanged him. He answered her call with one of his own, challenging the tiring green to let him catch her. He swapped directions and dove after her, he knew she would need to climb once more to finish the flight.
He saw the brown and bronze also pursue her. He knew it would take great strength for them to pull out of the dive. They weren't as fast as he was, but they had more stamina. So he called again to Skydth and stayed a bit above the others. It might prove to his advantage not having as far to climb. He was determined to do his best.
His rider needed this, and so did he. He didn't often bother with chasing and when he did he hadn't been giving his all, so it was no surprise he didn't win. Today he, Osirith was giving his all as he put all that he had learned from his previous chases into following the frosty green. He wanted to win this one, it would be his first win.
K'dan was standing close enough to hear Osaris plead with her dragon to hurry and finish, it sounded almost fearful. He took a final step closer to the bed, crooning to her like his dragon crooned to Skydth. "My lady, I would never hurt you." He sang just loud enough for her to hear just before he once again almost lost himself in his dragons lust. He would hang on a bit longer. Catch her Osirith! K'dan silently pleaded with his dragon.

The tensions in the room were rising. D’seus and the others seemed to have moved closer to the young woman on the bed without realizing it. His dragon was still in the game but he did not dive as close to the ground as the green did, after all he was much bigger and would likely touch the ground if he followed her exact movements. The Bronze was more aware than before of where his competitors were. Since the Gold Flight he had to be much more careful. He did not want to be slammed into a mountain again.
Where the other men were pleading with their dragons to catch the green, D’seus felt that he did not need to do so. They both probably knew that the Bronze pair was not going to enter into any lasting relationships right now. This was a comeback flight. Zorometh was out to prove he could fly and when the time came for one of the Golds to rise he would be prepared mentally.
D’seus’ calm strength was much like Zorometh in the air. The dragon was not a big talker, he was not suave with the ladies like his rider. During flights the human acted a bit more like the dragon. So when K’dan spoke to the woman on the bed and came closer, D’seus was irritated by it but silently so. He didn’t say anything but glared at the younger man and stepped closer too.
Unlike D’seus, the Bronze stayed away from the other two male dragons, choosing to be above the green and slightly to the left. In a moment he could have her, if they maintained this speed and no one else got in the way. Patience was a virtue after all.

Skydth felt huge wings encompass her and she gave in finally allowing the rider to capture her. The ice princess had finally allowed herself to be caught and to herself over to her conqueror. It was the only time that this dragon showed any feelings to bedsides her rider. Her rider back in the weyr felt the flight come to a climax as she felt feelings of happiness and excitement then put a arm around the neck of the winner. "Their done,' said Osaris as she leaned to start kissing him and gave no thoughts to anyone else. Her thoughts went to the dragon pair as she could feel the lust from her dragon and just gave in.
The young woman had no more feelings of fear or who her partner happened to be. She was completely in the mindset now that came with riding dragon back. Her first flight had not went well waking up bruises and had been apprehensive about this flight. Osaris's feelings we're no more in play because dragon lust had overcome her as she fell back on the bed. There would be time to think in the morning when she came back to reality for tonight the two of them would live the night as dragon riders.

Zorometh was the biggest dragon chasing the lithe green. Normally this would be a disadvantage but he also had the advantage of being strategic. Something he had learned through the Turns of flying greens. Before either the blue or the brown had time to react, Zorometh knew his moment had come.
The opportune moment as it were, where he knew he had a chance to catch her. He was angled perfectly to make this maneuver work too! Zorometh’s excitement was creating tenseness in his rider below. They had this! Zorometh stretched out his wings and came down from where he had been hovering above her, catching her wings in his own so that she could not escape even if she wanted to.
The Bronze still had energy to spare so bringing the green back to the ground would be no problem. He was going to gloat later. His injury meant nothing to him now. He had proven to himself and his rider that he was ready for flights. It was time to get in some practice before the Queens flew! Winning always made them happy. They were rather competitive after all. Not winning generally left Zorometh feeling a bit low.
D’seus was smiling when he felt the young woman begin to kiss him. He returned in kind and followed the blonde’s lead. He had no thoughts for the other men leaving the room. There was only one person there. Ahh flight lust, he had to admit, he missed winning flights!
