Evacuating the Creche ((The Creche is being evacuated and the young Weyrling was nearby and asked to help. When they realize the quiet child, Tschermak was missing after a headcount (and before the Brat Pack wandered off) Eira was the first to offer to find the child within the Lower Cavern Corridors.)) Upon entering the Weyr, Denkin watched the bowl fill with not only the invading Holdless, but with dragon’s and riders alike. How he longed to let his blade feast upon the green ichor that was dragon blood, but he had been given a specific mission within the bowels of the Weyr. Himself and a select few other fighters who they knew could hold their own in an outnumbered fight were to get into cave system they knew hollowed out the Weyr’s walls. Why? Because in the attack on Haven Weyr they had learned a very important feature of the bond between dragon and rider. Kill the rider and the dragon kills themselves. While getting within range to kill the dragon could be tricky, getting to a rider was not so much. He was to hunt down the gold riders specifically and kill them. And so it was, before the Weyr could station people at every last entrance to those stone hallways, Denkin and four others slipped inside the shadows, their faces smeared with blank paint as their hands held short swords and daggers more appropriate to the closed corridors. Of course, he still held his long, heavy battle sword strapped upon his back, but he doubted it would find need within the stone heart of the Weyr. Now to hunt the women…

It was amazing how such a good day could go so horribly wrong. Earlier, Eira had done Siath's typical care along with brushing out Joris before heading off on her own when her young green wished to take a nap. Things had been quiet and peaceful, so she thought to help out in the creche instead of the infirmary today. It really had been a good day, playing with some of the younger children and teaching them little fun things to do. Siath had been peacefully snoozing away with the tunnelcat in the barracks and all had been well. Why could it not stayed that way?
Siath had woken up from her nap just as Or'yn closed the large wooden door behind him, Joris lightly hissed before making his way underneath Eira's bed to hide. ”My Eira where are you?” The young green asked worriedly. ”In the creche, I'll be back soon. I'm just going to say goodbyes to the children I was playing with.” Eira mentioned as she helped a small girl up from her 'fall', the child giggling away. ”Something's not right...Please, hurry back.” Frowning, Eira dusted the girl off and looked towards the entrance of the creche, she could feel Siath's fear starting to grow. ”I'll be there as soon as I can, please, don't worry Siath.” Eira thought, not knowing what was about to happen. ”Eira! They're bad people! Hurry!” Was really all Siath could say about the scary men. That little message sent shivers through Eira's spine.
“We need to get the children somewhere safe! There's an attack going on!” Eira snapped to some of the creche caregivers. It wasn't long before the younger ones were scooped up and moved hurriedly to the safe room of sorts. ”Siath I'm safe, please, don't worry about me. I'm helping get the little ones into a safe room. Just concentrate on caring for yourself.” Really, with how the evacuation of the creche went, the children were all being counted for and she was trying to calm the younger ones. ”My Eira, please just be careful...” [/i] ”Don't worry I will be.” As the count continued, it was brought to the attention that someone was missing. Tschermak. “I'll look for him.” Eira offered quickly, the Holdless could not be concentrating on the lower caverns. There was the weyrbowl and other places they would attack first. Turning, Eira was already out the door and running towards the lower caverns as fast as her legs could carry her. “Tschermak?!” She called out, trying not to gather too much attention towards herself, she had to find the younger boy though. He had to be scared, she knew she would be at that age. She was scared now. Turning a corner, she was getting lower into the caverns, looking everywhere she could think of while trying to ignore all the far coming from Siath in the weyrling barracks. Her stomach flip flopped for a moment in combination of the fear from her young green to the realization she was not finding the boy she set out to find. “Tschermak? Where are you?” She asked herself as she slowed down from the running she did, breathing heavily she looked around trying to gather her bearings as she realized just how deep she was in the caverns. ”Siath, just remain calm...Please for both our sakes, they'll protect you and I'll be okay.” Eira reminded her green who was starting to panic as the holdless broke through the wooden door of the barracks. In truth, she hope she would be okay as for now she was completely lost. [/blockquote]

Denkin moved swiftly through the glow-lit halls, kicking each glow basket as he went to spread out the light and shift the shadows. Each door they came to, a quick decision was made if one would break off in that direction or continue deeper. Two headed toward the smell of fresh bread, thinking a good number of women would be in the kitchens. A third broke off when the smell of numbweed and felis came from another hall. Quick, easy targets, after all.
Soon it was only the giant of Denkin who moved through the halls, searching for any sign of thicker population. Twice he found others, the first time was a man who he quickly left drowning in his own blood as it poured through the cut across his throat. The second time it had been a woman. Catching her by the hair, he looked at her hungrily before demanding where the rest of the women were. Her screams, however, where quickly muffled as he slid his sword easily into her stomach.
”Tschermak, Where are you?” Hearing the obviously feminine voice as it shook and echoed through the stone walls, Denkin slowed at another hallway. Deciding to kill her first before continuing his search, he turned down that hallway. When the young woman came into view, he paused with her back still to him.
Again, hungry eyes took in her form and unlike the other woman he had already dispatched, he took in this woman’s curve and hips. Her height gave her long legs and he felt himself waking.
“Who do you search for?” he asked slowly, his accent thick even as he held his short sword at his side in an easy grip, the blood and gore still dripping from it and blood upon his thick leather vest.

Eira had heard the screams coming coming from elsewhere, but, she was too busy trying to find Tschermak before a holdless did to worry about them. The young woman was also trying to keep the fear from overwhelming her and reaching her already terrified green. Closing her eyes, she breathed slowly before muttered to herself where Tschermak could be. For once, the tall slender woman wished she had grown up in the weyr. At least then she would have some sort of idea where the boy could be hiding.
”My Eira you can not find him? Go somewhere safe then!” Siath was scared for her, Eira could tell and feel it. ”I will when I find him, I need to find him Siath. He's just a boy I can't let a holdless get to him!” Eira thought back. ”Don't worry please, I'll be alr-” Her thoughts were interrupted by a thick accent hitting her ears and she very slightly jumped at the sudden voice. Slowly, the tall woman turned around to the man who spoke to her.
She swallowed as she watched the blood dripped from his sword. Taking a slow half step back, she managed to lift her hazel eyes to meet his. “Tschermak, he's about twelve turns old.” Eira voiced slowly as she continued to step backwards. Of course, she had to forget that she was backing towards the wall and not another hallway.
Meanwhile, Siath was trying to do her best to remain calm but she was terrified for her Eira ”Malith!” The younger green called to him, he was one of the few older dragons she trusted and she knew S'nuo could help Eira. ”Eira is in danger! She need's help!” The young green was shaking near her clutchmates. ”Please, please have S'nuo help her!” Siath was in distressed she was just so scared. Eira was trying to block out her emotions and trying to ignore her greens fear.
Neither was working very well at the moment and Eira felt her stomach flop again. Her fingers lightly twitched as she tried to figure out what to do and a wave of dread hit her as her back touched the wall. Cornered, she was cornered and completely alone. If she had a small knife on her, she felt she could possibly defend herself but she was defenseless.

Denkin watched with pleasure as her eyes went first to his blood soaked blade before traveling slowly up his own body to meet his eyes. He knew he had here there, when their eyes locked and she could not look away. A weaker woman would have broken the contact and fled. No, Denkin knew instantly that this woman would at least be strong enough to give him answers – if not more.
Taking a step closer to keep the distance between them from growing, Denkin lifted the sword; not menacingly, but as if in a shrug. “How about I put this away and in return you will answer a few questions.” Before waiting for her answer, however, he slid the short sword into its sheath and took another two steps toward her as he watched her back into the solid stone wall behind her.
Huge, long arms moved up to rest giant, bloody hands on either side of her as he propped himself up and efficiently trapping her between himself and the cold stone. “Answer quickly and I may not damage your pretty face too badly.” Surprisingly, while he smelt of blood and sweat and dirt, there was also a musky and almost spicy scent to him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Malith being as small as he was took flight as soon as the Holdless began to spill into the Weyrbowl. He had considered bunking in with the Weyrlings but S’nuo had quickly told him that they would need their room for their rider’s weapons to be of any use and while Malith was a very small blue, he would have still quickly filled the common room with his bulk. No, he was given strict instructions to take flight and keep S’nuo updated.
They have breached the Weyrling Barracks! Some are heading for the Candidate Barracks too – Oh S’nuo can’t you get there to help?!
Unfortunately, when the attack had landed, S’nuo had been in the WeyrHall. While he was not a man to habitually carry his sword on him, he did not waste any time making his way to the kitchens and promptly obtaining two of the large carving knives as the lower cavern women made their way to the safe rooms. Instructing a few of the men there, he had moved to the large WeyrHall Doors to make his way to the WeyrBowl only to find a fight already happening there.
I have to get outside first, Malith. he said through gritted teeth as he wondered if he should fight here or try one of the other exits to make it to his charges faster. The panic in Malith’s next statement, however, made up his mind as he turned from the fight in the door and rushed to the WeyrHall’s entrance to the lower caverns. A path from there would lead to a smaller – and hopefully unblocked – door to the Weyrbowl.
Eira is in trouble! he sent before turning back to the little green as he circled above the bowl again. Siath, where is she? Where is Eira? S’nuo is going to her, but we need to know where.

Eira's heart was beating a thousand beats per minute at this moment. She was terrified yes, but she was not breaking eye contact with this man. The young woman knew he could easily out run her, slice her open and leave her to die. ”If I'm going to die...” She thought as she looked at the holdless man in front of her. ”I am not going to die running with my back turned.” Swallowing, she continued to slowly back away. Just to put a more comfortable distance in between them.
That distance sadly did not last long as he stepped forward towards her, closing the gap between them. He seemed to shrug with his short sword as her spoke. She was ready to reply but he already slid the sword into his sheath and took two more steps towards her as her back hit that cold wall. The coldness of the wall and the way the heat seemed to leave her made her shiver. Oh Faranth, someone needed to save her from this fate.
A small whimper of a sound left her as she was trapped between him and the wall, her arms raising slightly to give some sort of a barrier between herself and him. It wasn't much of a barrier sadly but it was better than him being possibly even closer than he is now. She could smell him as she breathed in, that incredibly manly smell underneath the smell of blood, sweat, and dirt. Sweat and dirt didn't bother her, neither did blood in most cases, but when a man who just killed who knew how many other people was this close to her completely defenseless...Well it was smells that she did not exactly enjoyed.
“I...It depends on the questions you want me to answer.” Eira replied, trying to keep her fear from entering her soft voice. She would lie on locations of the most people, she wouldn't answer them truthfully and her eyes stayed on his. To say the least she was not going to show she was lying to him, at least to the very best of her abilities. More lives than her own and Siath's depended on those lies did they not? She could honestly care less what will happen to her at this moment.
-----------------------------------------------------------
While both Eira and her Siath were trying desperately to remain calm, it simply was hard to keep the horrible fear ”I don't know...I don't know.” Siath replied in a panic, her eyes were swirling so quickly with a vibrant and bright yellow. It took a moment for her to breath and take a small second to remember where her weyrling was. ”She helped the creche be evacuated.” Was honestly all she could say to the gentle blue at the moment. She didn't know where the safe room the would use for the children would be.
”She left the safe room to find one of the weyrbrats that was unaccounted for.” The terrified green added on for Malith to pass on to S'nuo. ”Please, please tell S'nuo to hurry. The man is so close to her...” A soft squeal left Siath, her growing body trembling as she could hear the clash of swords as they met from where she was with the other dragonets and some of the weyrlings ”Malith...I'm so scared.” The green quietly confided in the older blue. She really was scared too. The combination of her own fear and that of Eira's simply was intensified.
Hopefully, S'nuo would save her Eira.

“Where are your gold riders?” he asked, the grin firm on his face as he listened to her whimper. Leaning in even closer, he pressed his nose against her neck, breathing in her scent deeply before letting a hand slide down the wall to grab a fist full of her hair and pull her head back painfully. “And do not lie to me.” He said darkly. The other hand remained on the wall, and for the moment it was the only think keeping space between them, though that space was quickly closing as he felt his own hungry lust growing. How long had it been since he was last satisfied?
--------------
“The safe room?” S’nuo said out loud as he skidded to a halt. The safe room was in the lower caverns. He had nearly reached the second entrance to those caves and had been about to leave them to find her out in the bowl. Turning around, he took off at a sprint again, heading for the location of the safe room. It was the smell of blood that had him slowing again.
Finding a hall with a dead woman’s body laying limply against the wall, S’nuo closed his eyes for a moment to school his own emotions. SHARDS! He had to find Eira before she lay against the wall like that woman. Walking quickly, he fought to keep from running, wanting to be able to hear what was going on around them. The last thing he wanted to do was spook the Holdless into killing her faster in order to deal with him with open hands.

Eira only known the exact location of only one gold rider, but, she was not going to tell this monster where she was. She was not going to risk the girls life. Stiffening as he pressed his nose against her neck, she smelt very clean. Maybe an underlying scent of flowers from the soap she used for her long dark hair. As he reached up and grabbed a fistful of her hair, she gasped with the tinge of pain that accompanied the pull. Her head was pulled back exposing her long neck. He told her he better not lie to her and she knew her answer to not only protect her fellow weyrling but also tell him the truth.
“They're in Haven.” Eira replied honestly. Her voice unwavering as she stood still, her chest rising every now and then with each breath she dared to take. “And I am telling you the truth before you go thinking I'm lying to you.” There was some venom in her voice as she tried to push him a little away from her. She did not want him so close to her and she was growing nervous. She couldn't hear any footsteps or anything. All she could hear, was the man's breath.
----------
Siath meanwhile was just trying to keep her self calm. The small green looked over as one of the other weyrlings moved to crouch with G'off. ”Is he getting closer to her Malith?" The little green asked the older blue. ”Please tell me he is, I do not like how Eira is feeling like a herdbeast...” She was trying to keep her mind off how she was feeling and more on only Eira who was trying to cut off her emotions from her Siath.

“Haven!?!” Denkin snapped before wrenching her hair painfully again before releasing it and landing a heavy punch across her face, not even bothering to open his hand to lessen the impact and sending her falling heavily against his other arm. Grabbing her jaw firmly, he jerked her head back to face him again. “Why would they go to where so many of their kind died?”
----
Please calm down Siath. S’nuo is looking for her. Deciding not to tell the young dragon that he had found another woman dead, Malith focused on keeping the little green calm. A herdbeast is okay, Siath. There are many in the pen. She may not be the one chosen today. Some are fast and with hard hooves. She will not be eaten today.
Of course, his attempt was quite possibly an epic failure.

Eira let out a gasp as he wrenched back her head. A few long strands were pulled out of her scalp. The contact his fist made with the side of her face called a small squeak of a sound to leave her as she fell against his other arm. If she was able to she would of held her hand against her swelling face. “To help repopulate.” Eira replied softly. “Do you honestly think we would keep all our eggs in one basket?” She asked him, her dark eyes meeting Denkins.
----
Siath felt like he wasn't telling the full truth but, she was letting herself try to listen to Malith to calm down as much as she possibly could. ”Thank y-” That was when Eira was hit and the young green was cut off by the pain her Eira was feeling. ”He's hurting her Malith!” She urgently told him, the fear that had started to leave her came back in full force.

While he could tell that she spoke the truth, if almost defiantly, he could not say that he was pleased with the answer. Leaning close to her again, he allowed his body to press against hers and he felt his manhood press heavy against her stomach as well. “If you need help to repopulate, then I will not deny you that help.”
With that he backed up, but only a hands length away as he put one hand on her collar bone, holding her firmly against the wall as he reached into his belt and pulled out a knife, sliding it deftly into the collar of her shirt and pulling it toward him and down. Her shirt material fell away easily under the blade’s sharp edge. Soon another cut was made in her pants, just enough to cause them to fall as he didn’t care to bother to bend lower.
He moved as if he had done this before….
---------
Hearing Siath’s cry as Malith sent it to him, S’nuo turned carefully down another hall to find more blood. Faranth please let him be getting closer! He moved quickly, but carefully. He needed to be quiet, but he needed to find her!

Eira felt his...Manhood pressed against her stomach. Swallowing she tried to move away from him again but it was no use to her. The blood drained from her face as he told her he would not deny her that help. The young woman was not stupid, she knew what that meant. Before she could do anything, try to fight and die trying to keep herself from being violated by this horrible man, he pulled a knife out. A tremble left her as he used the knife to cut through her clothes.
She was exposed fully to him and the cold of the air caused the goose pimples to form on her soft pale skin. A hand moved to pull her pants up as the sleeves of her shirt rolled down her shoulders. He wrapped his hand tighter around her neck to make her stop squirming and soon there was truly no space left in between them.
Tears rolled down her face, never before has a man seen her in this shape and form. A scared soft cry escaped her lips as he continued on...
----
”MALITH HE NEED'S TO GET TO HER NOW!” The green cried out. ”He's hurting her and she can't escape! Please, please tell S'nuo to hurry...Before it's too late. She doesn't have as strong hooves...” Siath hated to admit it but, she knew that if S'nuo couldn't get to her Eira soon...It could possibly too late.

Several more blows landed along different parts of her body, each one coming as she attempted to move from his grasp or fight back. Her neck would be bruised for some time as well as the side of her face where the first had landed. Now with one hand on her neck, he put the other in a vice grip upon her hip as he took her innocence by force and with a grunt he found his release inside her body.
It was the sound of quick footsteps behind him that had Denkin pushing the woman onto the floor even as he quickly sidestepped the other way, putting himself back in his pants with a grin as S’nuo’s long kitchen knife hit hard against the stone wall where Denkin’s back had been a moment ago.
“Just helping you repopulate, Weyr-Filth.” Denkin said, spitting at S’nuo’s feet as he pulled back out his own short sword. He was pleased to find the man before him with a will to fight and death clearly looking back at him in his eyes. Whoever this man was looking at Denkin, he knew the man was no peon. No, the pure fight in the man and the way he moved to crouch between him and the woman as he held the kitchen blade at ready. The man was trained – A dragonrider perhaps?
Well if he couldn’t have a goldrider, he would settle for a good fight with another dragonrider. He would kill at least one dragon this day!

Eira whimpered each time a blow landed each time against her body. Bruises were left on her and the side of her face was not only bruised but swollen from the hit. Her neck was black and even blue in some sections. She did not stop struggling though, despite each blow he dealt her. While she could hear the quickly approaching footsteps, they almost meant nothing to her as her tears hit the ground.
As she was shoved onto the floor, she was trying to pull her pants up from around her ankles and half trying to cover her bared chest. Her watery eyes peering upwards. “S'nuo...” It was all she could say, he came too late to keep her completely untouched but, he came in time to save her life. Hopefully he would not lose his own in the process. She would hate for her own life to be spared only for a good friend's to be lost.
Watching as the holdless spat at the bluerider's feet. Her watery eyes stayed on the two before she pulled herself in, her shoulders shaking as more tears fell. She just didn't know what to do, she just didn't. Swallowing, her hand gripped tighter on her shirt. ”Eira, S'nuo is there, he'll protect you.” Siath chimed in, trying to give her rider strength and to quell that fear that washed over her. ”Siath...” Eira thought before the green dragon quickly replied. ”I'm alright...I'm more worried about you, my Eira.” Siath told her gently.
With her eyes on S'nuo's back, she let them flickered to Denkin as he pulled out the short sword for a brief moment. “Be careful...Please...” She told the older man, meaning every single word of it. The young woman's innocence was stolen from her, but she would not let his life be stolen from him in this fight because she had to find the missing weyrbrat.

Shards and shells… It was hard for S’nuo to focus on the man in front of him when he knew what had just happened to Eira. He knew she was behind him, crumpled on the floor and attempting to cover herself. She had fallen into a heavy heap and it was everything S’nuo could do not to turn in her direction to make sure she was okay. No, he had to get rid of the man before him first – kill him perferibly.
You have never wanted to kill, S’nuo… What is wrong? At his dragon’s comment, however, S’nuo also had to quickly push Malith out of his mind, locking it from his dragon’s comments as well as he side stepped, the large kitchen knife was barely enough to deflect his short sword.
By Faranth, the man was HUGE. Dragonriders in general were a large, sturdy stock, but even S’nuo standing at 6’2 and weighing in at a solid 198 pounds felt dwarfed by the man before him and that was no small feat. Give the man the advantage in reach and weight and all that left S’nuo was speed – which was not his strong suit due to his own size.
And apparently was not a large weakness to the Holdless man either, as the second-third-fourth strikes came in such succession that S’nuo quickly found his back pushed up against the stone cold wall. Realization dawned on him that the man was pushing him back intentionally; it was almost too late when S’nuo dropped to the floor before that short sword was slashed at where his neck had been.
Tucking his shoulder, S’nuo pushed forward attempting to push the man back as his shoulder meet the man’s stomach, knocking the wind from him. Again, however, S’nuo was caught off guard as the man took hold of the back of the dragonrider’s neck. The dragonrider was momentarily glad his hair was nothing more than stubble, until he realized the holdless man’s hand was large enough to grip his neck firmly.
Wenched painfully, S’nuo found his world spinning before he landed heavily on his back, this time the dodge was too slow as the short sword sliced heavily into his left arm. Fire burned through his arm and his sight momentarily went white from pain, but the dragonrider knew to move. Rolling toward’s the big man’s legs rather than away, he sliced out almost blindly and when he met resistance and heard a grunt of pain, he knew he had made contact.
As the large man moved back, he didn’t even glance at his bleeding calf, but it gave S’nuo enough time to roll onto his own feet. Both moving back to ready despite the blood on the floor, there was a shout down the hall. S’nuo stiffened, but he did not follow the holdless man’s eyes as he glanced in that direction, instead the bluerider moved forward again, one hand catching the holdless man’s wrist while he sliced across his stomach – The leather vest the man wore, however, protected him and S’nuo caught a heavy blow to the face that was shortly followed by a raised knee.
Falling to the floor in a heap, there was another kick that landed to his side before a clash of metal was heard above him and a kick to the other side as one of his rescuers tripped over him. By the time S’nuo stood up once more, the two who had come running to rescue were chasing the large man down the hall and out of sight.
S’nuo dropped the large kitchen knife, his hand going to his arm as he moved to Eira’s side. Crouching in front of her, it only took one look for him to realize that she was still in shock as she continued to fumble with her clothing, unconsciously still trying to cover herself. Pulling off his own shirt with a wince of pain, he ignored the blood that he got on it, knowing that right now her mind needed to calm.
Forcing it over her head, it took him a moment to catch her wrists as she blindly fought against it even as he pulled her arms through the sleeves – not even bothering with finishing removing her own clothes and covering her above them. Once the shirt was on, he had to snatch her wrist again before she could hit him.
“Eira Breath. It’s Me. It’s S’nuo. You’re okay. You’re safe now. I’ve got you. It’s only S’nuo.” He said, beginning to repeat himself hoping his familiar voice would help knock her out of her shock – at least enough to keep himself from getting hit as he scooped her up into his arms wincing painfully as his left one continued to bleed.
