Osaris was seated on top of Skadyth as she looked down below as they glided above the rainforests that we're far below. She was in her weyr jacket even though it was hot because of the cold of going between. The young woman looked back at her passenger the captain of the guard Lohgan who had come along to scout for the holdless. Her eyes looked over the ground below and she couldn't make out a thing. "I don't see anything," said Osaris as she turned to the captain of the guard a little with her head and then was quiet. They had only been at it for a few hours and she continued to let Skadyth fly. "Slow down Skadyth," said Osaris as she thought that she saw something reflective and then got a immediate response. "I'm going slow enough," said Skadyth as she was tired of going this slow. The cold hearted green didn't really appreciate the fact that she was carrying around two people instead of one and especially a man.
"I thought I saw something," said Osaris as she urged her green to go closer. Her heart was beating fast in her chest as she was looking forward to and dreading the thought of finding the holdless. The people who could kill them in a moment yet she wanted to prove herself. The young woman wanted to prove that she was more then just any green rider and that she was a true fighter. It was true that most people saw green riders as just a quick romp in the weyr. "Let's go closer," said Osaris as she urged her green dragon to go closer and hopefully they would get lucky.
The holdless had been very quiet latley and their scouts had not been lucky enough to find any information out. She dreaded the thought with more eggs on the sands and another attack because no doubt they would attack when they heard eggs had been laid. Osaris would not permit any more of dragon's kin to be hurt and she would lay her life down if need be. When they'd gotten closer she urged her dragon to get close enough for them to see yet the jungle obscoured their view. "We need to find a place to land," said Osaris as she looked for a place for them to land. She saw a empty field area nearby and soon Skadyth was lowering them down. "Let' go," said Osaris as she slid off to land on the ground and took her two daggers out of her boots. The young green rider was not naive to go on this mission without some protection.

Loghan was surprised to find himself to be so comfortable astride a dragon. Color didn't mind to him either he liked them all. Not that he would let anyone else see it. He didn't question the fact he was never searched. He appreciated every single one of the dragons from flit to their larger cousins like the pretty green Skadyth they were riding on.
He was looking off to one side as his pretty friend Osaris was the other. He hadn't seen anything but wasn't really surprised either. If dragons hadn't caught them before now, he didn't hope to be able to spot them now, but it was worth a try. Maybe they would get lucky. Maybe.
"I don't see anything either." He replied back. He knew they hadn't been at it very long. He appreciated her time and the dragons effort to haul his lard butt around on their rest day. About the same time as Osaris said she saw something, he could have swore he saw a flash of something shiny in the dense foliage below. "I saw it too." he replied as they slowed down for a closer look.
When they landed, Loghan was ready. He wasn't captain of the Shield for name sake. He also got his knives and short sword ready. He hoped they wouldn't run into trouble. As they started to move away from Skadyth he stopped short and looked back at the green. She seemed 'pissed' if he read her body language right. "Osaris, is Skadyth ok, she looks ummm mad. And just to be on the safe side, maybe she would be safer in the sky keeping track of us then here where they could possibly out number her." He asked her before going on.

Osaris listened to the captain then thought that it was a good idea because if anything was to happen to her beautiful Skadyth then it would kill her. "Skadyth go back to the sky and look out for us," said Osaris in a tone that was more of order then anything else. "Fine," said Skadyth as she took the sky and then eyed the captain for a moment before hovering above the tree line keeping a eye on her rider. The young green rider below said, "Don't mind her she doesn't like others most of the time she's very cold towards others,". The young green rider kept walking with her knives in her hands as she kept walking towards the source. When she chopped some large leaves and braches in order to move forward.
She kept her eyes focused looking for any movement and not seeing any moved ahead. When she saw the object ahead then came upon just a piece of metal that seemed to off a shield or something else metal. "It's just a piece of metal," said Osaris as she was greatly disappointed that it wasn't something else. "What a waste of time," said Osaris as she looked at him and then sighed as the heat was starting to make her sweat. The summer in the south could make one sweat and she looked back at the captain.

Loghan stayed close to Osaris as they hacked their way through the under brush. Every now and then something would catch his eye and he would stop and look closer. Shadows moving just out of his line of sight. Something or someone was here. He could feel it, it made his skin crawl in warning. Looking up at the hovering dragon helped, at least the grumpy green was relatively safe, anything aimed at her at that height would give her only a scratch and would give away any homeless persons hiding place.
"I think your Skadyth is great. Funny isn't it that dragons can have personalities much like humans. I find Precious interesting to watch sometimes. So much like one of my old girlfriends. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they have personalities, it just surprises me how human they are." he said quietly not wanting his voice to carry. Not that he should worry about it, nothing like giving away your position then to have a dragon hovering about.
When they came to the shinny object they had spotted from above, Loghan picked up the piece of metal to inspect it. "It's not just a piece of metal, look, its a piece of some kind of shield. Hand made and unfinished or broken, either way I wonder what its doing out here and uncovered." he wondered out loud. A noise caused him to go instantly still, he put his hand on Osaris's shoulder and motioned her to be very still. He pulled her down into the underbrush to help hide them as he listened. He took a piece of cloth out of his pants pocket and carefully covered the piece of metal they had found. He stuck it in his shirt to hide it and make it easier to carry.
The noise of a breaking stick off to their left froze him in his tracks. "Can you please ask Skadyth to fly over us to see whats making the noise? Also have her go a bit higher so nothing can reach her if thrown at her. We have company. Be very still." he added as he put his finger to his lips in a sign she should be very quiet. He wondered where Precious was, but also hoped she didn't just pop in and give them away to what or who ever was out there.

Osaris listened to him talk for a moment then felt herself be pulled down into the jungle. When she heard that Skadyth needed to be sent away she simply nodded and knew to follow his orders. When she signaled with her hand for Skadyth to go further up in the sky and then she looked ahead to see what might be coming upon them. The green rider hoped that it wasn't the holdless as they would kill her in a instance after interrogation of course and would have no problem killing the captain of the guard. Her hand shook for a moment as she nervousily held the knife in her hands and hoped that she wouldn't have to use it. The young woman had never killed another living soul and didn't want to start now.
She looked around as she heard footsteps and tried to calm her breathing. Osaris was quiet for a moment as she looked around and then heard a twig break as her green dragon overhead was sending her feelings of protectiveness. The young woman would not let her green dragon harmed and she realized how stupid it was for them to come on this scouting mission. If they had just told other people or brought others because they would no match for the holdless. When she felt a pointed object prick her back then a voice said, "Get up nice and easy dragonrider," as she slowly got up.

Loghan just barely had time to whisper to Osaris before they were caught. "For the love of the first egg, don't tell them who I am, we might have a chance. Have Skadyth call for help, I'll call for Precious to do the same." He shut his mouth with a snap when he felt the point of a sharp object poke him in the ribs as the voice told him to get up slow and easy.
He did what he was told, and silently sent a thought of 'GET HELP TO ME NOW!' to Precious. Loghan sure hoped the tiny flit would understand his plea and stay hidden but send help soon.
((I don't want to get in trouble for posing a holdless person so I didn't add any words from them. Is this correct?))

Osaris was listening to exchange between the holdless and the captain. When he heard the orders be given by the captain and was about to speak to green dragon when she looked up the dragon was gone. The only thought was that Skadyth was more prepared then they'd been and had went to get help. She got up as her arms we're taken away from her and her hands we're bound by rope behind her back. A hand shoved her forward and forced her to walk as a hood was placed on head. It was stifling hot underneath the hood as she could not see where she was going and it caused her to trip many times. The hot air made it hard to breath and she regretted even coming down here to spy on the holdless.
While she would show no fear to give the holdless any joy and just kept walking. She wondered what they would do to them and feared in her heart. The young woman was quiet for a moment and they came to a dead stop where her back was shoved against something. Her hands we're bound to a tree behind her as she felt the rough texture of the tree on her arms and she sat down as the hood didn't come off. It felt good to sit down as it seemed they had been walking in what seemed like forever. Osaris just hoped that the captain was okay because he was worth a lot more to the holdless then she was and if they found out. She heard footsteps around her and whisperings as she just waited to see what fate awaited them.

Loghan hoped little Precious would get help, he hadn't heard green Skadyth leave but he hoped she was ok. He didn't want to be responsible for a dragon going between just because he thought it was a good idea to scout. Evidently they found what they were looking for in the first shot. He wondered why it had taken anyone so long to find these holdless.
He was grateful he didn't wear one of his shirts with his knots on it today. These ones wouldn't know who he was unless they were told. He stood up when he was told too and he didn't struggle when his wrists were tied behind his back. He did however use a slightly different way to hold his wrists while they were being tied. Something he tried to teach the other Shield members. If you held your hands and wrists just so, the bindings wouldn't be too tight and it could eventually be loosened enough to slip off, if you did it right. The hood was another thing, hot and stiffly under it. It made breathing more difficult. He managed by slowing his breathing. He had taken a good look at which way was north when he squatted down next to the green rider, so he had a good idea which way they were walking when instructed to do so.
A'miri counted every step he took, stumbled ones or not. He also counted time so he knew how long it took them to come to the place they stopped. He didn't know if he was close to Osaris but presumed he was. He wouldn't want to watch his captives if they were in several different places at the same time. Once he was tied to the tree, he put his head down and listened to the whispers of their captives as they moved away and sounds of some one making a fire was heard. Soon the smell of Klah brewing and something being cooked wafted his directing. Listening carefully he could tell when they started eating. They were relaxing more now that they were enjoying their rest, so he took a chance.
"Osaris, are you here?" Loghan whispered softly, just loud enough for it to carry very far. He hoped she was close enough, they needed a plan. Her green Skadyth could and would take better directions then his little Precious would, even though he had worked with her on helping him if he ever got caught in a situation like this.

Osaris heard a voice as she recongized as the captain's and said, "Yes, I'm here,". When she felt a kick in her stomach and it knocked the air out of here. In a loud voice they we're told to be quiet and she remained quiet till she heard the footsteps become quiet. "Loghan are you still there," asked Osaris as she wasn't going to let a kick in the stomach stop her and then waited for the captain to respond? The young woman used her mind to call out to her dragon and yet all that came back was nothingness. She realized that her dragon had went back to get help and wasn't within listening range of her rider. "She's not here," whispered Osaris as a few tears escaped her eyes as the young woman was slowly realizing that they could die that night.
She wasn't from this world and had never experienced the holdless except for the attack on the weyr. In the north where she'd grown up the young woman was a lady holder and not a rider. The people from the south we're used to this life yet she had only come into it as she had impressed Skadyth. A small part of her wondered would her life be the same had she not impressed her cold hearted green. "I am here," said Skadyth as her mind entered her rider's and Osaris send feelings of happiness back to her dragon. "Did you bring help," asked Osaris to her dragon and hoped that the dragon had brought back help? "No, I was worried about you," said Skadyth annoyed at her rider for asking such a question. The response was not what her rider had been hoping for and sighed. Her dragon disobeyed once in a while when she thought that her own way was better then her rider's. When she received feelings of sadness the rider sent feelings of reassurance back to her. In the end Osaris could never be angry at her dragon for very long.
"She's here now," whispered Osaris as she hoped that Loghan had a plan because he had more experience with these things then she did. Osaris had only her fundamental education as a weyrling and before that her training from her brothers. "Hold back and stay out of sight," said Osaris to her dragon till they we're ready to make their move. The young woman just waited for Loghan to formulate a plan and she hoped that it was soon.

"Holy shh..shells! Silly green dragons!" A'miri swore under his breath. He reached for Precious once more with his mind and this time got her. She was close. "Stop little one. Go back to the Weyr for help. Look for a member of the Shield, look for bonze Tracker and his person Marle. Get Marle for me Precious." He felt her confusion, then her sadness, then her happiness of just who to go find for help and her willingness to obey. She headed off with a *pop* between.
Breathing a sigh of relief, A'miri listened quietly for a moment before speaking , then said; "Psssst are you ok Osaris? I heard the kick. Precious is headed back to the Weyr to find Marle and his bronze flit Tracker. Do you think you can get Skadyth to go back for more help? Marle is new to the Shield." he whispered very quietly. He didn't want to draw anymore attention to himself or Osaris. That would come soon enough.
"Don't worry, I'm working on something." he finished quietly. Slowly he started to work his hands. He had made sure they were held just so when they tied them up. It wasn't a very good tie job sense they didn't realize who they really had. His hands were almost free of his ropes, it wouldn't be long now.

Marle sighed as he sat on watch, his eyes scanning the horizon as he looked for any signs of trouble. He hated being on watch. The man was a man of action and he liked doing something. As it were, the only thing he'd done all day was admire the colors of the sky and the swish of the trees in the far distance. Putting his feet up, Marle leaned back in his chair and cradled the back of his head in his hands, which were laced together by his fingers. Tracker, his bronze firelizard, was curled around his neck, sound asleep and emitting soft snores every so often.
A 'pop' over Marle's head made him jump, and he leapt to his feet, immediately taking a defensive crouch as he searched for signs of the noise. Tracker ruffled his wings and gave Marle's neck a scratch with one of his talons to get his attention.
~Pretty! Queen! Help!~ Tracker's emotions filtered into Marle's mind as he took in the gold that was fluttering above them in a panic. He recognized the flit immediately as belonging to the Captain which meant that there must have been trouble!
The bronze sent Marle images of Loghan and Osaris being bound and tied to a tree, obviously at a makeshift Holdless camp.
"Tell Precious to take her message to Kyrah," Marle said the words clearly and stared into Tracker's whirling eyes as he spoke, "you go to F'ren, he's Aloroth's friend, remember?"
Tracker thought on it for a moment before chirping with excitement at the thought of seeing the big brown dragon.
"Tracker!" Marle cut through the flit's excited noises, "Focus! I need you to hurry and get to F'ren because I'll need transport to get there quickly."
The bronze cooed in an understanding tone before turning to Precious.
~Kyrah, deliver message.~ Tracker told Precious and then popped /between/.
-=-
F'ren winced as he tried to rake his fingers through his hair, only to discover that the tresses had become so ensnared during flight that there was no way his fingers could rake through. With a sigh he gave his head a shake, pushed his hair out of his eyes, and decided that he'd have to get one of the women in the lower caverns to cut his hair if he wanted to maintain it neatly under his riding helmet.
Striking off in that direction to do just that, Aloroth's voice cut into his mind, Tracker is here, he says that Marle needs you for transportation. It would seem that the Dragonshield Captain and Skadyth's rider have been captured by the Holdless..
F'ren frowned at the news from his dragon. Osaris and her green weren't in his Wing, but they were still fellow dragonriders and F'ren felt it his duty to make sure that he could help them in any way possible. Inform her Wingleader and then meet me in the Weyrbowl. The Wingsecond strode in that direction.
Once he was securely on Aloroth's neckridge, the dragonrider pair took to the skies and /betweened/ to the Dragonshield headquarters.
When they appeared in the sky Marle was waiting for them in his usual black leather breeches and a tunic finely crafted of wherhide to provide some measure of protection against blades and arrows. Tracker was already perched on the man's shoulder and it was obvious that the two men were ready to do business with the Holdless.
"Let's go then."
Marle made the vault easily to Aloroth's neckridge and settled in quickly behind F'ren so that they could get started on their hunt for Loghan and Osaris. Luckily Marle had known F'ren briefly before joining the Dragonshield so he knew that the brownrider would at least be some aide should things turn into a fight.
--
Once in the air they skimmed low over the treetops, moving as quietly and inconspicuously as possible. Tracker moved ahead them, looking for trouble and using his keen eyes to look for their Captain and the greenrider. When the flit landed, Aloroth followed, gliding softly down amongst the trees until he landed with a soft "thud".
F'ren and Marle dismounted, the sounds of their feet muffled by the soft undergrowth of the forest. Falling into step behind Marle, F'ren mirrored the Dragonshield Member's movements, hoping that he remained as quiet and as stealthy as his friend.
Marle was pushing his senses to the max, his ears straining for the sound of a twig snapping, or clothing rustling against a tree limb, anything that might alert him that they were walking into a trap or that someone was following them. With a sniff he made out the faint scent of a fire and realized that they must be getting close to the camp.

Osaris wasn't very reassured with what Loghan whispered to her then said, "I'm fine," and then was quiet. When she tried to talk to her green the stubborn dragon refused to leave her rider. The green dragon wasn't one to obey orders and was very cold hearted to anyone except Osaris. It was a fact that had become apparent tonight that the dragon wouldn't even listen to her rider. "Stubborn," said Osaris as she waited to see what the outcome or the big plan that might develop from the captain. She was starting to worry as more time went on that they we're doomed.
It would only take some time for the holdless to figure out who they had and then they we're doomed. She listened to the men talk a little more and it grew more quiet as the men went to bed. Osaris was longing for her own bed back in her weyr and wanted a long hot soaking bath. The rider felt Skadyth sending feelings of worry and all she could do was send feelings of reassurance back to her dragon. If they got out of this it would be a long time before they went scouting again as she definatley needed more training in hand to hand combat.
A few tears escaped her eyes as she started to grow fearful of their situation. She tried to stiffle her tears as she heard footsteps and then she felt a slap across her face. The young green rider only bit down on her tongue and was quiet as tears continued to roll down her face. It took everything in her to send feelings of reassurance back to her dragon and hope that she kept away even with the men hurting her rider. A dragon would die for the rider except it would drive the rider to want to commit suicide.

((If you ever need a Holdless character to cause some trouble I can throw Zerik in. He’s quite neglected.)) & Eve was sleeping on her shoulder while Kyrah practiced in the practice yard. They fact that her movements did not disturb the firelizard bothered her. Was she that predictable? Her eyes narrowed and the anger which often rose its ugly head was back at the top of her small emotional range. Anger was not the best mental state to fight in so she went to sit down outside the practice yard, finding her inner calm. Leeto padded over as if nothing was wrong and laid himself down next to her. The big feline weighed more than she did and would have been quite dangerous had he grown up in the wild. Now she had harnessed the power and strength of the Southern Continent to be her ally. It was a nice thought if a little egotistical. She was far better with animals than she had ever been with humans.
Her Gold woke at the coming of the other Gold, Precious. Lohgan was probably looking for her. As the Queen’s exchanged images and emotions, it became quite clear that something was very wrong. Eve lifted herself off of Kyrah’s shoulder and began to make frantic movements like the other Gold. The images she sent to Kyrah were slightly jumbled but like most firelizard owners she knew they were all important just out of order. The message was easy enough for the red head to decipher. She was going to need a ride. Captain Lohgan and Wingrider Osaris were in danger. The Holdless had kidnapped them. Skadyth was free but only for now. If they killed Osaris, then Skadyth would Between. She hoped Osaris was one of the dragonriders who had some sense and some fight in her. Lohgan would do everything in his power to keep her alive. It was the duty of the Shield to protect the dragonriders of Pern. No matter how stupid they were. Eve gave Precious the image of Kyrah coming to their location and sent her back to Lohgan.
It was the common mistake of people to underestimate their enemy. Kyrah never took anything for granted. She was going to go, prepared for anything. She was loathe to include another rider in this but she knew of a couple who had the skills to at least help fight. He wouldn’t be easy to talk to but neither was she. Kyrah needed a good fighter and a transport and that meant only one dragonrider, N’var of green Nemesyth. While Razia was also a good choice, she would never risk Akroma’s sister. The greenrider was where she thought he would be. Her approach and being loaded down with weapons was rather fearsome and caused N’var to seem less than willing to talk. “What is it you want?” The greenrider asked in his usual snide way. He was wearing his leathers already and watching Nemesyth sleep on the sand around the lake. It was his favorite spot in the Weyr and it seemed some people had taken notice. Instead of saying much, Kyrah threw a sword at him. He caught the sword by the hilt and then stared at her. How rude were these people? Briar was busy greeting the Gold firelizard and took no notice of the fact the Shield member could have killed her owner. She smiled, a cat like smile which suggested she knew more than she was willing to give voice to. “I need a lift and some help in a situation. The Holdless have captured a greenrider and a Shield Member. The only thing to complicate matters is I need to bring Leeto. Are you willing? Was she serious? No way was he allowing that beast of hers on his green. His agitation woke the sleeping green Nemesyth. She was one of the largest greens at the Weyr and a good flier. Mine. I can take him. He will not injure me.
He still did not like it! N’var’s eyes were dark with irritation and his mouth had grown tight. He was thinking and although he wasn’t taking up time on purpose, the time it was taking was having an effect on the Shield member. “Alright but if that thing puts one claw on Nemesyth, I’ll kill it.” He was serious. He would kill it if he felt it was necessary to protect his green. Kyrah had come prepared. The large thick blanket she took out and placed on the green’s back under her riding straps made for a saddle cloth type situation. The greenrider wasted time tightening and re-tightening the straps before they both lifted Leeto onto the dragons back. He was given the command to stay. Kyrah had him trained to perfection. As distracting as being on a dragon would be, the feline obeyed. Kyrah was then helped up. She sat behind the feline and made him lay down on her lap. She put her arms around him and made sure to hold on to the dragon with her legs. In front of them N’var gave the dragon the go to Between.
They arrived above the area where Lohgan and Osaris were. Kyrah saw another clearing not far away. Big enough for Nemesyth to land and drop them off. They needed to be quick about it. N’var had Nemesyth land where instructed. They were down in a matter of moments though the descent might have seemed slow to the impatient Shield member. He wanted to be sure there were no Holdless waiting for them to land. He had them dismount, feline first then Shield and finally himself.
Tell Skadyth to meet you by the beach. Rest there until we are ready to get back. Skadyth, come with me to the beach. We will rest until they are ready to be flown out. Mine and Kyrah are coming.
This was going to be interesting. He shook his head and walked away from the dragon who vaulted into the air in seconds. Then he was alone with Kyrah and their smaller counterparts. Briar was sitting on his shoulder, mimicking the Gold on Kyrah’s. In case they got separated the green might try to help. Sometimes her messages were so hard to understand she shouldn’t have even tried but he found if and when she focused she could deliver short messages without much detail. Briar was better with emotions than images though. Kyrah had them take cover as soon as possible. The way through the remaining jungle would be careful, slow and as quiet as possible. Although with the trumping around N’var was doing, anyone would be able to hear them. Ky rolled her eyes and looked back at the rider. “Step where I step. Walk like you would dance, light on your feet.” Her voice was quiet, just barely audible to the man just behind her.
Her eyes were surveying the jungle as they walked. She could smell unwashed people. There were broken areas in the trees and while she was not known to be a tracker she had picked things up from her Turns in the dragon shield. That was when she heard a twig snap. Her head turned to see a Brown dragon land. Eve Betweened to the other Shiled member, Marle. Her message showed the Shield Member where Kyrah and N’var were in the brush. Before she knew it Eve was back on her shoulder. Hopefully the four of them could work together. [/blockquote]

Precious let Loghan know she was coming. He convinced her to fly in quietly and to come in behind him. She did as she was told. She helped get the ropes off his hands, then hopped quietly over to Osaris to help her. The images he got were all tangled up in themselves but he was used to it and soon had the jest of her excitement. Help was coming, Marle and Tracker were with F'ren and brown Aloroth, Kyrah, Eve and the feline Leeto were coming with N’var and little Briar on Nemesyth. It should get interesting soon enough.
The quiet sounds of snoring seemed loud in the quiet forest. Loghan heard the hit Osaris took before all got quiet. Loghans trained ear could hear the greenrider sobbing softly. He had Precious help him quietly lift the bag over his head so he could see better and get his eyes used to the forest. He noticed where their guard was sitting, for the moment he appeared to be dozing. Precious wanted to take Osaris's hood off too but for now Log an thought it was better to leave it on. "Sit quietly and do not move, help is here." He whispered quietly. Precious tried to show the greenrider who else was here.
Loghan called Precious to him. Giving her instructions to quietly fly up into a tree to look around then go find Ky with what she found. Understanding her person wanted her to see where everyone was at she chose a tree branch. She took a few moments to look before quietly gliding through the trees out of hearing range before popping between to go find Eve, Briar and Tracker.
First because the bigger cousins understood her better, she went to Nemesyth to relay her message. She ignored the grumpy green Skyadth, that one refused to obey her person. Precious took a moment to quietly scold the green before taking to the sky again to find Ky.
Once she found them, Precious quickly and quietly relayed her message trusting that Nemesyth would have done so too. Ky was the one person she would perch on, but this time she lit in a tree like she had been trained to, so she could keep a birds eye on their surroundings. She would alert them if needed, or head for her person if needed.

Skadyth was still in the sky hovering behind a large tree when she heard the voice of Nemesyth and the order that was given. She was reclutant at first to leave her rider however did what she was told and flew to the beach to await further orders. It took everything in her to leave her rider behind and at the mercy of others to protect. When Skadyth was gone it felt like a lump inside of Osaris as she fought to control her tears. The green rider felt her ropes be loosened and then images of riders flooding her head which she hoped meant rescue.
When she heard Loghan talk to her then was quiet as she hoped the rescue would come soon. Her heart broke that Skadyth wasn't within hearing range of her yet was glad that the green dragon had finally listened to someone. She was embarrassed in one way that her green dragon would not listen to you yet that didn't surprise the green rider. Skadyth was a dragon with her own mind especially when it concerned Osaris and she sighed for moment as the tears finally stopped. If they made it back to the weyr then there ws no doubt in her mind that she would be chided and punished for coming out on this mission.
A embarrassment because her dragon would not listen to her and that was one fact that had to change. It was their safety that worried Osaris because if the dragon could not listen to the rider what would happen in a real battle. While she waited for the hood to be pulled off and hoped that no harm would come to any one.
