Loghan waited patiently for rescue to come. Practicing patience and actually being patient was two different things. Little Precious had gone off to find Ky, Marle and F'ren. So far she hadn't returned. He could see her confused thoughts, all those pictures he was getting were out of order but still made sense. Seems she was trying to get them all to hurry and was getting impatient. He hoped she didn't do something rash.
Precious found Eve, Briar and Tracker. She tried her best to get her instructions across to them. She even landed near Ky and tried to get her to understand. She just wasn't sure what was going on or why these persons waited to do something.

Marle felt as if he'd been holding his breath for an eternity. The Dragonshield Member didn't allow himself to even take in a minute inhale until he and F'ren were safely hidden behind a tree. Now that they were so close to the Holdless camp Marle's pulse had quickened and he had trouble listening because of the loud throbbing in his ears. Tracker was wisely perched on his shoulder, his long bronze tail wrapped around Marle's neck as he waited for further instructions from his friend. Since Kyrah was one of his superior's in the Dragonshield, Marle waited patiently for her to either give him the go-ahead or for her to make the first move.
Behind Marle F'ren crouched, his dark blue eyes peering through the brush at the camp of Holdless. There weren't too many of them which meant that this was only a small camp and not their main holding. After the last attack on the Weyr they'd probably broken up into smaller camps and disbursed to make it harder for the Dragonshield to find them. The brownrider could vividly remember the way the Holdless had invaded the Weyr, as if they'd stood a chance against the dragons and riders of the Weyr.
Aloroth waited off in the distance, F'ren knew, and he calmly spoke to his dragon. Is everything okay back where you are?
It is fine, ridermine. No one seems to be following you, at least not from this direction. I'll let you know if anything changes. Hearing his dragons voice made F'ren feel more confident in their hastily put together rescue.

Loghan noticed a flash of gold amount the tree branches. Looking carefully his trained eyes could make out his Precious's barely twitching tail. If she was there then Ky wasn't far away with her feline, flit and whomever brought her. He knew she wouldn't wait long before making a decision on what to do next. Then he would feel sorry for these homeless men that held them captive, only for a short moment.
He went back to watching the men around the fire, they were being too confident and not setting a guard. In fact they wern't paying attention at all to their surroundings or they would have noticed the tall undergrowth move when it wasn't supposed to. The fact that he and Osaris weren't guarded anymore was proof they were sure nothing would happen to them.
Talking out of the side of his mouth, Loghan whispered just barely loud enough for the green rider to hear. "Help is here, Ky has brought help. It won't be long now. Wiggle your fingers and move your wrists a bit if they are numb. It won't be long now. Be fast and stay near me and we will get you out of here safely and back to your stubborn beautiful green lady." He said with a hint of amusement in his voice.
"By the way, you are very brave, and i want to thank you two for doing this. If I had known that taking a scouting flight would have produced results this fast I would have suggested it earlier. Of course getting caught is never in the plans. I promise, I won't ask you to do this again. And I'll take any flack we might get." It was a fairly long speech for him, but he meant every word of it. This was a prime example as to why dragonriders were not shield members.
Loghan noticed Precious start to fidget on her perch. He sent her a quick but powerful feeling of pride and patience. She was to wait for Ky before moving. He hoped she would hold out a bit more. All hell was about to break loose. No matter what, he had to get this girl back to her Skadyth safely. And he would too, no matter what.

Kyrah signaled for N'var to follow her. He was more quiet this time, finally understanding that they needed to go as unnoticed as possible. Or perhaps he needed guidance earlier. Whatever the case may have been she didn't need to worry about it any more. She signaled for Marle to move forward at the same pace they were. They needed to get to the camp quickly. Minutes went by of carefully walking through the jungle noiselessly. Her great feline, padded quietly next to her until a hand signal brought N'var and her feline to an immediate halt. She crouched down in one fluid movement. Light blue eyes scanned the area in front of them. She heard voices.
She glanced across the jungle area where Marle should be. Hoping he had stopped as well. They were close, she could smell campfire. The moment had come, she took her bow out of its sling, and indicated N'var should take his sword out of its scabbard. Kyrah nodded to the rider. She stood slowly and began a more fast paced walk to the cleared area where the voices had come from. deep breath, now. Leeto was given the signal to let out a low growl. Enough to set the men in the camp to worry about a feline attack. Jungle felines were nothing to laugh about. They were now warned, ready to see a feline come charging and instead found themselves being impaled with arrows. One at a time. Kyrah knew Marle was handy with a bow too and was likely following suit.
N'var's instructions had been to hang back. His job was to find F'ren and free the captives. Kyrah was determined to keep the attention of the Holdless men on her long enough that the dragonriders could get away. Thoughts of escape were not on her mind. The only thing she allowed herself to concentrate on was killing the Holdless men. She was focused on her attack so much that she no longer let herself worry about N'var. He would have to do what he felt necessary to save Osaris and Shield Captain Lohgan.
The greenrider took the opportunity to leave Kyrah to her onslaught. He went in search of F'ren as promised. When he came upon the brownrider he whispered. "Kyrah says you and I should go and free the prisoners while she and Marle handle the Holdless." And N'var was not arguing with the red haired woman anymore. She was quite possibly more stubborn than he was. It was only slightly disturbing. Although not as disturbing as the way she killed people without emotion. There was probably the sole reason she never impressed a dragon. She had zero empathy. N'var waited for F'ren to lead them onward because in all honesty despite out ranking him in the North, as a Lord Holder's son, in the dragonrider hierarchy he knew better. The brownrider was his superior in this instance.
