D’ero was on the wrong side of the Weyr when the call for Illume Wing to meet at the entrance of the Weyr went out. He muttered a soft curse and started to run through the halls of the Weyr as he tried to find some way to his wing. Left, left, quick right, straight… he came to a skidding halt and back tracked as quickly and quietly as he could before peering around a corner. A small group of Holdless stood in the hallway, arguing with each other loud enough that they hadn’t heard his approach. He spied on them for a few moments before turning around. There had only been four of them but they were wearing more then riding leathers. They also had weapons, none of them looked like high quality swords but all D’ero had on him was his knife.
Horuth, let A’lez know that I don’t think I’ll be joining up with the rest of the wing any time soon.
He could feel the concern radiating off his dragon but his brown said nothing and relayed his words to A’lez.
You’re in a safe place?
Of course. I’m with the other dragons. What are you going to do though?[/color]
A slight frown settled onto D’ero’s face as he walked as quietly as someone his size could. He listened closely before turning any corners, trying to hear for any Holdless before he risked exposing himself. His knife was out and held with a firm grip in his right hand as he took a quick look around a corner before slipping down the hallway. He had to try and find others, if he stayed in one place the Holdless would find him sooner or later. The brown rider just had to hope he could find others to team up with before he was found. If his luck wasn’t that good… well he wasn’t going down without a fight.
