{Takes place right after 'To the Infirmary with you'}
Eira had just finished up in the infirmary, her last 'patient' was a weyrbrat. That being until Siath had woken up and was mighty hungry. It didn't bother her, Tschermak was bandaged up right and an actual healer was there to double check her work once she left. Either way, here she was now, chopping up small pieces of meat for her young green who was waiting patiently for her lunch. ”It smells very tasty, my Eira.” The dragonet mentioned as she licked her chops before Eira smiled and tossed her a small piece of meat she just cut up. Siath quickly caught it in the air and gobbled it up. “There'll be more where that came from soon enough Siath.” Eira told her softly.
While she cut up the pieces of meat, she made sure to do a handful of very small chunks for Joris who was sitting on the bench besides her. The little thing was given a small piece and he seemed to meow his thanks before gobbling it up cheerfully. Siath watched the tiny creature curiously. ”He likes it too.” She commented as Eira chuckled and shook her head. “I would hope so, he needs to eat too seeing as he's a little thing like you Siath.” Eira replied lightly as she finished chopping up the meat, she helped Siath get started on her larger chunks before getting Joris going. He meowed before going to town on his own little meat chunks.
She watched them eat as she lightly cleaned off her hands. A brow slowly raised as she realized her life-mate and her little tunnelcat ate in a very similar way. Hurried, but neatly. “...I think Joris think's he is not a feline...” Eira mentioned lightly as she reached out to lightly scratched the side of the green's long neck and the cats short one. Not only was Joris purring, but so was Siath who tilted her head a bit. “...Siath you sure you're a dragon?” Eira asked curiously with a small chuckle as the young dragonet shot her rider a very slight look. ”Of course I am my silly Eira! If I wasn't I would be small like Joris.”
Laughing, Eira had to cover her mouth a little. “That is very true...Now eat up, you're still hungry I can tell. I'll get some more meat if you would like too.” ”This is more than enough my Eira, there is plenty left to eat.” Siath mentioned before another little purr left her as she went back to eating.

T'mar had been lounging on his bed with the little white kitten curled up on his chest. Petroth was sleeping peacefully too. He must have fallen asleep, for how long he didn't know. He woke to stabbing pain in his index finger of his right hand. "OUCH!" he said sitting up and pulling his hurt apendage away from the kitten.
"Mew" came the tiny cry as the baby tunnel cat tried to scramble up his shirt. He inspected his finger for damage before picking the white baby up. Shammy gave his chin a love bump with a louder more insistant "Mew!" She was purring and love bumping his chin while turning circles in his hands. "You must be ungry little one, we should go feed you. Petroth will be wanting fed soon to I think" he said to the purring baby.
Yes Mine, I am getting hungry too. Are we going to go eat soon? Came Pets quick answer. Before T'mar could answer, his stomach growled loudly for him. Laughing T'mar turned to look at his midnight blue lifemate as he put the tunnel kitten down on his bed so he could put his shoes on. Yes Pet, I think we are all a bit hungy, I could use a snack myself he answered as his stomach growled again. Picking up the little white kitten, they all three headed down to eat.
As they entered , he saw Eira and green Siath. "Hi, Eira. My duty to you and your Siath." T'mar said grinning and making a funny type bow that was ment to make Eira smile. "I hope you don't mind if we join you. I see you are feeding your little fuzzy butt too." he said still smiling as he put Shammy down on a bench and started to cut up meat. Shammy smelled the meat and made a mighty jump for one so tiny. She landed mid thigh on T'mar's leg, then started climbing him like a tree.
"Ouch, you silly thing, wait your turn." he told the kitten as he pulled her off his leg. He decided that feeding her first was probably a good idea, or at least start her with a bight or two. He put a few tiny pieces of meat down on the bench in front of Shammy, then started cutting some for Pet. Soon the pair were busy eating.

Eira looked away from her dragonet and her tunnel cat towards T'mar as he walked up towards her. As he bowed in a silly manner, she raised a slight brow at him. The corner of her lips managed to turn up in a very slight smile. “Hello T'mar.” She replied lightly. “No I do not mind at all.” With that she smiled a little bit more. “I'm guessing yours is far more hungry than mine though, Joris here sat there and waited. I honestly think he thinks he is not a feline.” There was a small meow from said cat, almost as if he was protesting.
Siath lightly bowed towards T'Mar. ”Hello,Petroth.” The green said softly to her brother before she gobbled down more of her lunch. Joris had went back to eating and Eira shook her head a little before she looked over at T'mar. “How is Petroth and your kitten getting along so far?” She asked curiously. So far her own two were getting along very well, but, Eira knew that some dragonets didn't like the idea of their lifemate's having another creature around them. Either way, the young woman was thankful that her gentle green did not have jealousy issues and if she did, Siath certainly hid them well.
Joris finished his food and stretched out before cleaning himself up. Eira glanced at the little cat for a moment before looking at T'mar with a small smile. “I was worried Siath and Joris wouldn't get along at first but, they seem to get along. I was in the infirmary keeping myself busy while Siath napped. Met her here and he was using her tail to hitch a ride so to speak.” Eira told him, a light laugh leaving her as Joris jumped onto her lap before curling up into a tight ball.
Petting the cat, she made sure her dragonet was eating okay for a brief moment before looking at T'mar once more. “How is it to share...Thoughts in the sense with that...” The corner of her lip twitched. “Holdless boy?” She asked slowly. It was no secret the weyrling did not like the holdless, she was constantly on edge of G'off an S'len were nearby. While she was not afraid of them, she had a deep dislike for the two and it was going to take her a good chunk of time to warm up to them. It was easy to say it did not help that Holdless had killed her father. It was also safe to say that if the older man was still alive, Eira would not have been at Refuge as a candidate. She would have been back at the cothold as a healer.
Sometimes she wondered if she should have been a candidate after his death but, Siath would remind her lifemate that even if she had been sitting in the stands, the green would of gone up to get her.
{Blah post is blah, hope it works!}

Hello Siath, I am pleased to share mealtime with you. Pet nodded to the little green politely before moving over near His making sure his tail was tucked safely out of the way in case others joined them. T'mar finally settled his two into a eating sequience that seemed to work. Cut a big chunk first, then slice a tiny piece off the corner, offer Pet his then Shammy hers. Pet was being very patient waiting until his little white friend finished hers before eating another bite of his. Secretly T'mar was grateful, it ment he didn't have to add pieces of his own flesh to the mix in his haste to get the pieces cut just right. You did not tell me that you were afraid of cutting yourself Mine, I would have been willing to slow down, I am not THAT hungry that I would want you to hurt yourself. Pet said his voice laced with concern. "It's ok Pet, I was worried more about making sure you would not be too hungry, I guess we both could have said something before now. We were told to make sure the pieces were small and to feed you quickly, or at least I think thats what they said. Don't matter now anyway, I think we are getting it worked out he answered, taking a moment to lightly scratch Petroths eye ridges. He was pleased he managed to get Eira to smile, even if it was just a little one. Sometimes she just seemed like she had too much on her mind. He listened as she spoke, deciding on which one to answer first. He chose the latter question concerning G'off first. "I was worried about it at first, but I am finding that I don't mind sharing thoughts with the twins. So far there hasn't been any problems. I don't know how much either of the blues pay attention to what their brothers lifemate actually says. I haven't asked Pet how much he hears between Danuth and G'off. I guess they keep it to themselves." T'mar answered shrugging. "In fact, Danuth asked if I wanted him to not hear me. I thought about that for a bit and decided it was a pretty special gift." he replied as he fed his pair another bite, the kitten was starting to slow down, how could such a little thing eat so much anyway. "I told both Danuth and Petroth that I didn't want them to not hear either of us. Not everyone can hear more then one dragon. I've heard that dragons can talk to any one they choose, but I don't know if they can hear everyone elses thoughts. I really haven't thought about that until now." he said looking up at Eira, smiling as her tunnel kitten washed up then snuggled her. "I was worried about G'off being nasty, but you know, I think he really is starting to love his Danuth, even if he pretends he doesn't want to, or isn't. Maybe becoming a dragon rider will teach him something and perhaps help others like him to understand better." he said shaking his head as he cut more pieces of meat for Pet, Shammy was busy cleaning herself up. "I've watched S'len in and out of the barracks. He doesn't seem to like Fernith very much. Fernith hisses and nips S'len when something isn't right, and you should see S'len's face sometimes. It's not a nice thing to see, but interesting that Fernith thinks S'len was his best choice. Time will tell I reckon." He finished up shaking his head, a worried look on his face. Changing the subject to some thing more pleasant was much better then worrying about the holdless pair that impressed when others didn't. "Pet likes Shammy, where one is, the other is. They even sleep together most of the time. I'm surprised at how gentle Pet is for being so young himself. Shammy sleeps between his head nobs, I swear they both purr." he said smiling. We do sound like we both purr don't we Mine. Pet said copying a purring sound the tunnel kitten made sometimes. "They seem to like each other very much. Pet isn't as worried and nervous if Shammy is with him when I need to be gone for a bit. I noticed that some of the dragonets get very antsy and upset when left alone, so for that I'm very grateful. Don't get me wrong I never leave either of them alone any longer then I need to, but it's sure nice to be able to take a longer soak in the bath sometimes." T'mar said. "What do you think about those two impressing?" T'mar asked her as he got more comfortable to cut up meat for Petroth. Shammy had snuggled down in his lap to finish cleaning herself, she continued to purr loudly the whole time. Looking up he watched to see her reaction to his question. {works for me }

Siath bowed her head to the blue in return. While she was not comfortable with many other dragons, she was certainly fine with her own siblings. ”As am I.” She was a little green sure, but she was almost as long as her blue brother. For now though, the serpentine dragon was still little like the fellow dragonets.
T'mar was right in his thinking though, sometimes Eira did have too much on her mind. From how some holdless boys were impressed to figuring out how to adjust to life sharing her mind with her lifemate. Siath was comforting in the sense that she was a contemplative dragonet, they both thought about things and didn't actually talk about them. Of course that was changing a little because Eira was now talking to T'mar at the moment about some things that did in fact bother her. Or at least things that were on her mind.
Listening to the shorter man's words, she nodded slightly. ”That is good then, I would rather someone keep to themselves instead of constantly sharing thoughts.” Eira mentioned off hand. ”Honestly, it is a special gift but, if I want someone else besides Siath know my thoughts I tell them. It has taken me a bit of adjustment for Siath to know what I was feeling or vice versa.” The dragonet knew how her Eira was and it did not bother one bit. Simply because while to others it may come off that the woman was a less than enthusiastic weyrling, she did take amazing care of her little green. Her own food was done as well as Joris' ”All full? Sure you do not want more?” Eira thought for a moment. ”No my Eira, all full. I could not eat another bite.” Siath told her lightly. Eira nodded as she reached up and scratched Siaths neck before she looked back to T'mar.
“I know Siath talked to S'nuo last time I seen him. We were out near the Weyrbowl, just after I got Joris from the Hatching betting.” Eira told him lightly. ”So that much is true, but I don't know about hearing thoughts either. Maybe a question for U'ski the next lesson?” The young woman suggested lightly as she scratched Joris behind his ear. Her lips flicked in a slight frown. ”I still do not trust him, not fully anyways. I just can't trust someone coming from the holdless.” It was a firm reply and an honest one at that. ”I do agree with you that it could help them learn and understand things better though. I just need time to get used to the idea of them being around.” The mentioned of S'len made her shudder.
”Hopefully they both chose their lifemates right.” She muttered lightly, a worried look was cropping up onto her own face. Really, if things didn't change who knew what could happen. Changing the subject was certainly more pleasant than worrying about the holdless boy's. Eira seemed to think so as she managed to crack a small smile in agreement. ”I think we're lucky, heard greens and blues are less...Mmm...You know, jealous if they're not the only one being cared for by their riders.” Joris was still purring away on her lap and she continued to scratch both Siath's and her little kitten's necks. “They do purr, and I teased Siath earlier when I asked if she was sure she was a dragon and not a feline.” Eira told him, a small laugh managing to escape her as Siath purred lightly. ”I didn't really had to worry about that. Siath was fine on her own in the barracks. I think she doesn't mind being on her own really, I honestly think she likes it.”
”That is because I do.” Eira chuckled at her dragonets words. ”And she just went ahead and confirmed it. I don't mind myself if she's napping it means I can go to the infirmary and help out if they need it or head off to find some scrolls on healing. Human or dragons, it's rather easy. Sam concoctions are used, same basic healing practices. If I wasn't impressed I would probably stick to the infirmary like I was doing before. I don't know if I would of went back to the candidate lessons though.” She was 20 turns after all, by the time another hatching happened she would probably be too old for it. That being, if she was not impressed like she was.
His question, was a little unexpected and she raised a brow at him curiously. ”I don't know what to fully think about them to be honest. Dragons supposedly know who to choose but...I worry if it's not true. G'off isn't so..worrisome but how Fernith and S'len interact it almost seems like they are oil and water. Two things that to not mix.” Sighing she stretched out a little bit as she lowered her hand from Siaths neck while she went to drink from the bowl of water Eira got for her earlier. ”What about you? What are your thoughts on the two of them impressing?” Eira asked curiously.

He was glad he heard her laugh, smiling a bit himself he listened to her talk. He agreed with her thoughts on S’len, the boy was just plain mean. He had seen some of the looks S’len gave Marlay and her Gold Elynth. It was truly a scary thing to see. T’mar was glad all dragons obeyed the queens. And he really hoped the dragonets would obey their sister, or at least rally to protect her.
“I would NEVER let anyone hurt Elynth or Hers. I do NOT like Fernith‘s “ Petroth interjected with a growl of warning. The little midnight blue dragonets eyes were whirling a light orange.
In case Eira noticed, T’mar decided to explain his dragon’s reaction. “It seems Petroth agrees with both of us, he doesn’t like S’len either, and he doesn’t use his name. I was just thinking about dragons obeying the Queens orders, and that I hoped our dragonets would also obey Marlay and Elynth. Petroth tells me he would not let anyone hurt either Marlay or Elynth. I hope that’s true. I know I won’t let S’len hurt them. But knowing how sneaky he is, it would be a good thing to have Petroth keep an eye on things. Maybe Fernith would alert everyone if S’len tried anything.” he finished with a frown.
Shammy had crawled up on Petroths head and fell asleep, the dragonet was being careful not to knock the tunnel kitten off. Laughing, T’mar continued to feed Pet, glad he was starting to slow down. Forgetting to mind speak; “Pet, are you getting full yet?” he asked as he feed the young dragon another bite. “Yes Mine, I’m done. I’m getting sleepy too. Will we be going soon?” Pet answered with a big yawn that almost dislodged the kitten. ”Yes Pet, we will go soon, let me clean things up a bit and get a bite to eat too” T’mar told him as he softly patted Petroth’s neck.
Getting up, he cleaned up his mess and put things away. Grabbing a cup of every ready klah and a meatroll, he settled down on the bench the kitten had used when he fed him. Leaning back he finished his meat roll in a few bites and settled to sip his klah.
“All I know is they need watched, they both need watched. It’s probably all we can do anyway.” he said shrugging. Then he decided to change the subject. “How did you and Siath do with your first bathing? I think I ended up with more oil on me then Petroth, but he sure enjoyed it” he finished as he watched for her reaction to his thoughts.
He didn't ignore the offered information about the infirmary and her being a healer or healers helper. Thinking about it for a bit, he finished his klah and stood up. "I'm glad you are a healer or healers helper, I think its important to know things that could help another person and their dragon. If they are not so very different thats even better." he said honestly.
"Pet is telling me he is tired and it definatly has an effect on me too. Could you show me a few simple healing things some time when we have time or the need arises if we or one of our dragons get hurt? I'd like to know how to help Petoth if I need too." he finished yawning and stretching.
Come on you two, lets go stretch out awhile." T'mar said as he bent down and picked up the little white tunnel kitten. Turning back around as he headed out the door, he gave her a proper bow. "Good night Eira, my duty to you and your Siath" Turning back around he followed his sleepy dragon off to take that much needed nap. "Good night Sister Siath" Petroth said as he wandered out the door.
{not real good, hope it works}

Eira glanced at Petroth for a moment before nodding at T'mar. ”I won't let anyone hurt them either, brother.” Siath spoke lightly once she got the explanation of why he growled. “Honestly, I don't blame him. Honestly I think if S'len tried anything, especially to Marlay or Elynth, Fernith would let anyone in his power know. I think even our young dragonets know how important they are.” Eira mentioned lightly as she patted Siaths neck gently. Looking at the tunnel cat on top of Petroths head, she laughed softly. “You know I was worried about the tunnel cats a good amount of us received but..It's looking more and more like nothing will happen to them.” She would hope so on that case anyways. Listening to T'mar, she was keeping an eye on Siath who was drinking the rest of her water. She would be cleaning up soon enough and she let T'mar head off to grab a cup of klah and a meatroll. Eira would probably grab some of both herself in a little while, that would be on her way out to the weyrbowl though, so Siath wouldn't have to wait to be bathed and oiled. Once T'mar return, Joris had moved from Eira's lap to find a good spot on Siath to sleep. “And it's probably already being done. I doubt the weyrmaster or anyone is letting the both of them go completely unwatched.” The tall woman pointedo ut to him lightly. At the question of the first bathing, Eira chuckled lightly remembering seeing that. “It went well, Siath isn't very squirmy and stayed still for me. I think she wanted as much oil on her as possible.” ”I like bathing and being oiled my Eira.” Siath pointed out to her's gently. ”I know Siath, you'll be bathed soon enough. You're not too itchy yet?' ”No my Eira, I can wait, I'm not tired either.” Eira nodded at her little green for a moment before looking to T'mar. “Naturally some things are different but, not too many things. When it comes to the blood and things like that it's almost all of the same. Different amounts are needed and the like. It's second nature for me.” She mentioned off hand, her mind just worked for anything that dealt with healing. The fact that a lot of things towards Dragons were the same as humans made it even easier for her to learn. As T'mar told her that Petroth was getting tied, she nodded and moved to start cleaning up from Siath's lunch. “I'll be happy to. Hopefully more so when we have time than if someone is hurt though. And if they so happen to be hurt that it would be something very minor and not life threatening.” She pointed out with a small smile. Lightly bowing her own head as T'mar gave her a proper bow she was glad she managed to have at least one friend with the other weyrlings. “Sleep well, and good night.” She said lightly. ”Good night brother Petroth.” Siath replied before letting Eira go about her business and snagging a couple of meat rolls to take with her. Sliding them into a clean cloth she snagged a cup of klah and walked over to Siath. Joris had woken up and stretched out a little but stayed put as the pair started out the weyrhall. “Lets get you washed Siath.” Eira mentioned lightly as she sipped at her klah. She would bring the mug back later, after her green was washed. {And thinking this thread is done!} [/blockquote]
