U’ski had watched the hatching closely. He had stood near the feeding area, making sure that the new weyrlings were taking care of their dragons properly. The last thing he wanted was for a dragon to choke when he had just taken over as Weyrling Master. Still, it had been hard to keep an eye on things when this hatching had offered up a number of surprises. Twin dragons? And Impressions from the stands? He wondered what the Weyrleaders were going to do now that two of their Holdless prisoners had Impressed. Heck, he wondered what he was going to do with them.
All of that would come later, right now he had a job to do.
Once all the new dragonets had gotten enough food U’ski put his fingers in his mouth and whistled loudly to get the attention of dragon and weyrling. He was a tall man with dark skin who would have stood out even if his left arm hadn’t been in a cast. “Congratulations to all of you. You now have what many want but few ever get the chance to experience. Tonight we’re going to go around and introduce ourselves and our dragons. My name is U’ski and I’ll be taking over as Weyrling Master for H’nen. I am the rider of blue Toroth,” He pointed up to where the dragons had gathered to watch the hatching where a dark blue dragon flared his wings out and let out a bugle before settling down again. “and we’re in Illume Wing. I expect you all to take your lessons seriously and show up to every single one of them. Being a dragon rider isn’t easy work and it’s only going to get harder. Right now, you do not matter, your dragon is the most important thing in your life. If she’s hungry during the wee hours of the morning, you will get up and feed her. If he’s itchy and scratching at himself you will wash and oil him no matter what you were doing before hand.”
He looked all the new weyrlings over, already picking out which ones would be the trouble makers. “Now why don’t we start introducing ourselves. Just give us your name, boys make sure it’s the honorific name, the name of your dragon and if you want to say anything else go ahead just make it quick. We don’t want to be up all night, you’ll all be getting up early tomorrow for your first lesson. Lets start with you now, I’m sure everyone is curious to know what our new gold calls herself.” He nodded to Marlaey and let her start things off.
(Not going to have any real order to this, just say that U’ski points your character out and then go ahead with your post!)

Marlaey and Elynth
Marlaey was wiping her hands on a cloth when she heard the Weyrling Master whistle loudly, drawing her attention. Elynth was licking her snout clean but stopped immediately when she noted they were needed for something. Shaking her head and whipping her tail she attempted to stride forward gracefully, but only managed a wobble and eventually tripped. Landing nose first in the sand she snorted, MarlaeyLove this walking business is difficult. Marlaey could feel the embarrassment emanating from her gold and had to stifle a laugh. But the scene that had unfolded earlier due to her clumsiness were not quite as funny and the smell of death still lingered on the sands. Trying not to dwell on such thoughts Marlaey walked swiftly over to join the other weyrlings already gathering around U'ski.
Elynth sat, flexing her claws, studying them, almost willing them to work properly and let her walk like a normal dragon! She looked up and around at the other dragonets. Good, they were all healthy. She hummed pleasantly, admiring each of them in turn, even the greens were well shaped. Her eyes fell on Krestanovith, the sole Bronze of the clutch. She chirped happily in his direction before noticing the strange blue twins. They had tried to steal her thunder had they not? Twins. Never had she heard the like! Of course, it wouldn't do for Marlaey to remind her that she'd just hatched just now.
Waiting quietly and listening to the Weyrling Master speak, Marlaey was surprised when he asked her to begin. Oh, but wait, she was a GoldRider now, that meant she was valuable to the weyr, an important member. It was a strange feeling to know that, to know that people were going to rely on her and look up to her. Suddenly the weight of all that responsibility came crashing down on her shoulders and she faltered in her introduction.
But her gold was there to save her, her sweet, beautiful, perfect golden dragon. Elynth raised her head, eyes swirling green and blue, and spoke to all those gathered, I am Elynth and this, as you should know, is my rider Marlaey. I chose well did I not? She rumbled with draconic laughter, adjusting her wings and enjoying the limelight.
Marlaey on the other hand, felt more nervous, but she smiled warmly to all those gathered and tried her best to speak. "I've lived here my whole life," she said, "And grown up with people who have turned out to be magnificent riders. And though I dearly wished to Impress, I never expected it would be to a Gold. I'm so happy I cannot tell you, and I'm so pleased that everyone here has found a lifemate too. I promise, we will do our best to honour you all and the weyr."
Feeling a tad more foolish for her speech, Marlaey inclined her head gently to the group, a small smile still evident on her face. Well said my love, but you needn't be so nervous, I'm here for you now and together we will grow strong and proud.

He was standing closer to the door then the Gold and Marlay were sense he and Peroth were the last to leave the sands. Peroth was just finishing his last mouthful when U'ski spoke. Both dragonet and His stopped to listen carefully. While Marlay spoke, T'mar finished wiping the blood from Peroth's jaw.
When no one else took a turn introducing themselves he decided to get it over with. Clearing his throat, T'mar stepped a bit forward, "I'm T'mar and this is Peroth, this is the happiest day of my life" he said stepping back next to his lifemate. Peroth trilled softly at the mention of his name name. You did very well T'marmine[/b]. Peroth waited until T'mar stepped back beside him before carefully leaning into His. Yes, life was going to be interesting from now on. Putting his hand back on the soft blue neck, T'mar patted his softly while he waited for the rest of the group to continue.

After having been fed a generous amount of meat by J'von, Mnemoth was feeling much better. So when the Weyrling Master came down and told them to introduce themselves, he listened with attention as his golden sister announced herself to the rest of the group. J'von smiled a bit at Marlaey's speech, although Mnemoth blew it off. He was paying more attention to Elynth than to her rider. J'von gave the dragon an affectionate pat in an effort to distract him. Mnemoth snorted and looked around as the rider of Petroth spoke up. Petroth was an oddity, what with his twin and all, but it didn't faze Mnemoth. Twins the two may be, but Mnemoth was a Brown, and they were Blues. T'mar stepped back after introducing himself.
Go on then mine, tell them about yourself, Mnemoth urged.
It was a little odd to have a newly born dragon telling him to introduce himself, but Mnemoth was surprisingly demanding on the point. With a small sigh, he stepped forward himself. Might as well get it over with. "I'm J'von, and this is Mnemoth," he said, giving the dragon's head an affectionate pat. "I've always lived in the Weyr, and I've seen a lot of hatchings, but I think this one was my favorite."
Mnemoth is going to be a dragon of great importance, Mnemoth said irritably, and he would appreciate it if you would treat him as such.
What makes you think that? J'von asked, and surprised himself when he realized he hadn't said it out loud. Perhaps this connection of minds wasn't so odd a thing as he had thought. In fact, it was rather easy.
I am the largest Brown of the clutch.
There were only two Browns
And I am the larger Mnemoth responded with what seemed like humor in his tone. It was clear to J'von that this dragon was going to be a lot of trouble. Luckily, he also had no doubt that Mnemoth would be worth any trouble he might bring.

Why exactly were they doing this? Didn't they need to take care of the dragons. Bonding with other people had never been something he was told was a good thing to do. What did he care who was going to lead them? He didn't have to take orders from anyone.
Everyone obeys Queens. All the more reason why the Holdless went for them first. Well done T'mar. The dragon said to his twin's mine. If only G'off would listen to reason. They could be having so much fun if he'd let go of all the bad stuff.
The Brown's rider was nice. Much too nice for G'off's taste. Ugh, he was sick of hearing all these people go on about how perfect their lives were now. His had become so much more complicated and harder to deal with and they were all just so friggin happy! He needed to get this over with. The sooner they were out of here the better.
The thirteen Turn old Holdless boy stepped forward with his blue. He was not nervous, not in the slightest. "My name is Geoff now G'off. I am thirteen Turns old and was born Holdless." He glared at the people around him, like a feline caught in a trap he didn't know how to get out of. His green eyes held a sort of mischievous gleam despite all that he was saying and feeling. "I will be completely honest with you all. I like to steal things so it would be in your better interest not to keep anything of value in the Barracks. " Then with a smirk on his face, he turned to present his dragon.
"This is Danuth, he is the more outgoing of the twins and is actually happy to be here. He can hear my thoughts as well as Petroth's and T'mar's. Which means for those of you who are worried about losing sleep at night for fear, T'mar would know I was going to do something horrible before I could even do it. " G'off then looked over at T'mar. Looked like he had no choice. His new best friend was going to have to be T'mar. And vice versa. So instead of standing by himself he walked over to T'mar. "Hope you are ready for some really interesting conversations." whispered the younger Weyrling.

J'red was as usual. pretty nervous. Here he was, surrounded by dragons and their new riders, all introducing themselves and he was - You're a rider too Mine! Naioth chuckled. J'red looked down at her affectionately and stroked her head, tickling her headknobs. She wriggled and trilled with delight. When U'ski called them all over he and Naioth were one of the first to respond.
She trotted over and helped make the circle around the Weyrling Master. Stretching her wings to settle down she accidentally knocked into J'red who toppled over. Oh J'redMine! I'm so sorry! My wings are so large! It's difficult to work them properly.. She looked very ashamed of herself, and J'red could feel her remorse clearly through their link. He sat up, dusting himself off and gave her shoulder a pat, "Don't worry about it Naioth, I'm alright."
He looked around, fearing he may have caused some sort of disruption.
After Marlaey and a few others had said their piece, J'red (encouraged by his green) stood forward and grinned nervously. "Hi, I'm Jared.. no no wait! I'm J'red now," Naioth crooned softly, "And this is my green Naioth." He peered down at her, "She's so beautiful... I'm so lucky..." The sea green hatchling chirruped happily, snaking her head around Hers. Blushing a little, J'red stepped back to allow someone else to take their turn. He may not have noticed it yet, but Naioth was already having a positive effect on her rider, he was becoming a little braver.

K'len raised up to his full height after feeding Rhyseth all that she could eat. He listened to the instructions. He looked around as the others started to interduce themselves one at a time till it was his turn.He was a bit nervous and brushed the hair back from his face in the ever present nervous jesture.
It's your turn k'len mine. Tell them about us. I am a pretty green am I not. We are special you and I don't be nervous.
He smiled softly and looked around at the others. "I am now K'len and this lovely green beauty is Rhyseth. I am from a cothold and not the weyr so I am still getting used to the life here that is so much different then I am used to. I usually spend my free time whittling things from small wood pieces that I've found around. Course we probably are not gonna have much free time for a while. "

Once Siath had ate, Eira cleaned off the dragonets' bloody mouth. ”Thank you, my Eira.” The dragonet thought softly to her rider. ”You're welcome Siath. I promise to take very good care of you” Eira thought as she patted the young dragons neck while the creature let out a small purr. The purr made Eira smile, in a way she felt like she could get used to being a dragonrider. When U'ski whistled, calling them over, the pair stuck close to each other. One thing for sure, Siath was not as clumsy as some of her siblings. The way she moved was more controlled and the young green was taking care to watch the weyrlings as she walked. Once they got to the circle, they both let the other weyrlings introduce themselves first.
She was a little tense though what with the two Holdless boys so close to her. ”It'll be okay, my Eira.” Siath told her with a soft croon before nudging her lifemate gently. ”Now go ahead and introduce us. Even if the dragonet did not like to be in the center attention like Eira herself did not, she knew that they really do need to be introduced now. Best to get it over with. Swallowing, Eira stepped slightly foreward. “I am Eira.” She had to raise her voice a little louder than she was comfortable with. Granted, she knew several of the others impressed. More or less it was the fact that to Holdless boys were there standing with them.
She turned very slightly to Siath and managed to smile at her dragonet. “And this, is Siath.” With that, the green dragonet very slightly bowed her head with her little introduction. Eira did not have much to say with the introductions. She didn't feel like they all needed to know about her life before hand, it was all going not change anyways. Even if she still wanted to be a run of the mill healer, she would still try to practice when she managed to get some time. ”You'll run yourself ragged.” Siath mentioned quietly as Eira step back to stand beside her once more. ”Who knows, maybe you'll be the cure to my insomnia Siath?” She asked her lightly, making the dragonet rumble softly.

T'mar smiled and nodded as each new Weyrling pair introduced themselves. Petroth was more interested in getting scratched even as he listened carefully. When Danuth bespoke him it startled him a bit. This was defiantly going to take some getting used to, hearing two dragons. “Thank you Danuth” he answered looking at the lighter blue of the twins.
Then G’off introduced himself and Petroth’s twin Danuth. A very uneasy feeling came over him as G’off talked. When he mentioned T'mar hearing what was going on through the dragon link he shared. Saying T'mar would know what was going on before anyone else would, it made him think a moment. He didn’t trust the holdless boy not for one second. And telling everyone he was prone to steal things made him even more uneasy.
What made him even more nervous was the point G’off made about his being able to hear what Tamar himself was thinking via his Danuth. It didn’t help any when G’off stepped near him to whisper something about adventures. T'mar had a feeling that things were going to become much more complicated.
“Pet, can Danuth actual hear everything I think like you do?” he asked His nervously as he bent down to look directly into the dragonets eyes almost ready to panic.
Not as good as I can my Tamar but yes Danuth can hear you if your thoughts are very strong, or if you talk to him directly. Is this going to be a problem myTmar? Petroth answered looking back his eyes whirling in slight alarm at how His was feeling.
“I don’t know Pet” Tamar answered using his nickname for the little blue, “Danuth must have seen some good in this boy to choose him, but we all know about how the holdless are. Especially G’off, he hates everything about dragons and their riders. I sure hope this don’t turn into a disaster” it wasn't a good explanation, but it was the only thing he could think to say at the moment.
He didn’t want trouble from G’off, and he didn’t want anyone thinking that this was all of a sudden his best friend just because their dragons were twins. Maybe he would talk to the Weyrlingmaster about it. Nodding and giving Pet another loving scratch, Tamar feeling better after his decision, turned his thoughts back to the class and the introductions, he wanted to get to know them all much better.

I hear you. Especially when your emotions are heightened. Petroth can tell you your mind voice gets louder. I can pretend not to hear if you want. The blue reassured his twin and his rider. However when Petroth's started saying things about his, it made him upset. How could he choose wrong? Dragons knew whom they were right for from the beginning.
They did not know, they did not try to see who G'off really was. No one knew that he was just a boy forced to do things that none of them could imagine having to do or die. No one knew that he had a family who ignored his existence and so he had to do what he could to get that attention he craved. Even after proving himself to the others, his G'off was left feeling completely alone and sad but unable to show it. He had to be strong, he wasn't a little boy anymore.
Danuth was certain G'off would come around. He was dealing with a lot at the moment. The blue felt strongly that he could free G'off from his inner demons. If he could get the boy to drop his mental gaurd some of the time. If only somone other than S'len would take some interest in his. Become friends with him. Maybe then he would see that dragonriders were not anymore or less cruel than his own family and the Holdless.
G'off for his part was only too happy that his little speech had upset more than one person. Eira looked like she was scared. J'red was nervous by nature it seemed. K'len however did not seem at all disturbed. Of course the person who seemed most bothered, judging by his expression and the fact that he did not directly answer G'off, was T'mar. Good.
Let him squirm thinking about how horrible and scary the Holdless were. He had no idea how much scarier it was to see young women killed by a Gold dragon. Dragons were sworn to protect people, not to kill them. It was no wonder people related to Gold Candidates often came to the side of the Holdless, who would be able to watch their daughter or sister killed by a dragon and then remain at the Weyr? Talk about torture.
He doesn't like me at all does he?No. Not particularly. He thinks you are bad. You don't? I know you are good. Nodding, G'off wondered how much longer this would take. They had not heard from Krestanovith, Revyketh, Fenrith or Deynzith.

P'lel and Revyketh
Having finished his food quite quickly, Revyketh had begun to explore the sands further. His rider was in turn forced to follow, trying to wipe the blood stains from his mouth and claws. "Revyketh!", he called, "Wait!" But the little brown was already nose deep in sand having tripped over a shard of eggshell. Well that wasn't very pleasant. Looking up at his rider he chirped happily, Such a fascinating place this isn't it? I can't wait to see everywhere else. He sat back on his haunches and craned his neck to see farther, Oh look P'lel, my clutchmates are gathering over there. Let's go join them. And with that he was trotting off towards them, not even waiting for a reply.
When they reached the circle of weyrlings P'lel nodded to those around him and inclined his head to the Weyrling Master. So, introductions. Though Revyketh was eager to say who they were, P'lel wanted to wait and see who the rest were before they spoke. It was always good to know who those you'll be spending a lot of time with are. And he wasn't sure yet whom he could trust, considering two of these weyrlings were holdless. But after a time his young brown became impatient and nudged him forwards.
He stood forward and spoke calmly, but loudly enough so all could hear. "My name was Parallel, thanks to my brown Revyketh here, I am now P'lel." Revyketh shuffled his wings and raised his head higher. He didn't think he needed to say any more just yet, no doubt in the coming months they would all get a chance to know each other better anyway.
Revyketh eyed the other brown of the clutch. Mnemoth. From the way he held himself that darker brown clearly felt he was the most important. Since there were only two browns in the clutch Rev had a feeling that would mean constant competition between them. Well that could bee fun.
Marlaey and Elynth
Marlaey was glad now that they'd gone first, at least they'd gotten it out of the way. But she was starting to feel as if he'd said too much, everyone else was merely stating their names! Of course not MarlaeyMine! We are expected to say more. She smiled, laying her hand on the coppery hued hide and relaxed a little. Her mind wandered back to the touching and just as she was marveling at the wonder of it all Elynth nudged her, Mine, don't daydream now, this is important. You need to pay attention to who my clutchmates are and whom they chose as their riders. One day we will be in charge of them so you need to start learning all you can. Marlaey blinked. Oh right, sorry Elynth, I didn't realise. The gold dragon whuffed gently, I know you didn't, that is why I told you. Don't worry, we are all learning together now.
As the weyrlings each stepped forward and presented themselves, Marlaey made sure to take mental notes about them. One of the twin's riders moved forward first, T'mar of blue Petroth. They seemed like a good pair, though how the twin connection was going to fair between them and the other blue twin she had no idea. It is quite strange, commented Elynth. Next there came the darker of the browns. It was clear that he was a proud creature who expected greatness from himself and his rider. Well that won't be difficult, his rider is J'von and I've known him since we were little. I haven't seen him much in the last few years, but I always thought he'd make a great dragonrider. The young Queen purred happily, It is good that you were raised here, we have the advantage of knowledge that others don't. And here is the next twin. Danuth was the lighter coloured of the two and according to G'off, the lighter hearted. But when G'off mentioned stealing and seemed to take pleasure in frightening the other candidates Elynth grew angry. She growled at the pair, speaking to G'off directly, There will be no theft in my weyr nor joy in intimidating your fellows. Marlaey was startled by this, but she supported her Queen.
J'red came next, full of nerves but so happy about what had happened that he was bubbling with excitement. They're sweet together, Marlaey said to Elynth, hoping to calm her down a little. The gold nodded briefly and held her temper in check. Two more greens followed Naioth, there was K'len's Rhyseth and the paler Eira's Siath. A lot of people thought Siath's egg was a dud, Marlaey said soflty. Nonsense, she just doesn't feel the need to have everyone staring at her all the time. You'll be surprised to know, but I feel like that too sometimes. Rhyseth looks strong and capable. Marlaey just smiled.
Once Revyketh and P'lel made their introduction, it was nearly all wrapped up, just a couple more weyrlings to go and then they would all know who was who. Elynth continued to look at each pair in turn and Marlaey kept repeating their information in her mind so that she would remember it. She would be a good goldrider, she would.

Sorlen and Fenrith were the last to join the group of weyrlings in front of their new master. Neither boy nor blue liked the idea of having a master watching their every move and being told what to do. Sorlen was still too use to the Holdless ways, utter chaos aside from those rare moments during raids. The young man could feel his dragon taking interest in that, liking the idea of doing whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted far more then having to listen to someone else. Both were bored with these introductions, until G’off made his. Sorlen watched the reactions of the other weyrlings, many of them growing tense and uncomfortable by how blunt G’off was. What softlings these people were. G’off was doing them a favor, now they knew what to expect from him. He thought for a moment before clearing his throat, brining the attention of the other weyrlings to himself. He gave them all a sarcastic little grin and gave U’ski a mocking bow. “My name is Sorlen. And like G’off I’m one of the Holdless.” He gave a few of the girls who had reacted the most to G’off’s Holdless claim a toothy grin. “You’ll probably notice that I’m rather popular with your psychotic Dragon Shield people because of that. I had no interest in Impressing so if any of you had a little friend who didn’t Impress, they are free to come take Fenrith from me. I’d be rather grateful actually.” Fenrith let out a low growl and gave Sorlen a hard nip on his injured hand, making the Holdless boy yank his hand back and glare down at the blue. Fenrith ignored Sorlen and turned his gaze on the other weyrlings and dragons, a slight reddish tint to his whirling eyes. S’len is mine. I choice right. And any who tries to remove me from him will be sorry.[/color] Z’ten frowned a little with how some of these introductions were going. He shook his head a little as one of the Holdless tried to provoke people. As soon as S’len was done talking, Z’ten stood and started his introduction. “Hello! My name is Z’ten, it was Zayten before I impressed my lovely lady Deynzith.” He smiled down at his green who cooed and rubbed her head against his leg. “I was born in the Weyr and I have a number of dragon rider family members. My father was a blue rider and my brother and half-sisters are all green riders.” He thought of a moment trying to think of something else to say before Deynzith took a few slow, graceful steps forward, her soft breathy voice reaching out to everyone. Hello brothers and sisters, I’m sure we’ll all have such a wonderful time together. Even the more unruly of us are sure to find their place. She sat down in front of Z’ten, her tail curling around the boy’s legs as she looked up at him and received a rub on her head ridges. U’ski said nothing as they all introduced themselves, taking mental notes about each of them. Above them, Toroth was watching just as closely, letting U’ski know which ones were messing around and what sort of reaction some of them were having. The Weyrling Master made no reaction to the Holdless boys and their introductions but a close eye was going to have to be kept on them. He was not going to allow the Shield to be disrupting his classes though just to keep an eye on these two. He would have to speak with them soon and figure out how they were going to handle this. The dark skinned man looked the weyrlings over, picking out the last boy that hadn’t spoken up yet, R’kin. He was a bit disappointed that their new bronze rider hadn’t spoken up sooner but didn’t give it too much thought, all the weyrlings were highly distracted by their new dragons and tonight he wasn’t going to hold that against them.

I hear you. Especially when your emotions are heightened. Petroth can tell you your mind voice gets louder. I can pretend not to hear if you want.[/b] T’mar turned and looked at Danuth his face turning flaming red in shame. He looked down at his toes. The sound of the other dragon’s voice sounded sad to him. ”I do not wish you to pretend to not hear me. I am very pleased to hear you; it’s very special to me. I am very sorry Danuth, I did not mean to sound rude or mean. Perhaps I just need to get to know G’off before I make up my mind?” T’mar said to the other dragonet.
He really didn’t mean to make a snap judgment especially based only on what he had only heard about the younger boy. He wouldn’t want some one to dislike him because of what they had heard instead of what they knew. He vowed to at least try to make friends with the holdless boy.
T’marmine, Danuth would not have chosen G’off if he wasn’t right for him or for a rider, just like I chose you for mine, I did not choose wrong. You will see. Brother, mine just needs to get to know Yours it will be alright. He really is very sorry he upset you. the little blue added on his own.
Turning to G’off his face still red T’mar decided to speak to the boy. “Having adventures sounds like fun to me, as long as it don’t get me latrine duty for a month” he added with a grin. He meant it, adventures could be fun. He missed them, he and his older brother used to have many fun times. Still smiling a little, T’mar turned back to the introductions listening carefully. All the while he gently rubbed Petroth’s head knobs.

While he went over followed by his dragon to where the others we're gathering to hear the introduction.R'kin was paying attention to all of them and was more of the type to listen before speaking. He watched them noting how his bronze dragnet seemed to perk up when seeing the gold and rolled his eyes. "Well, my name is R'kin and this is my bronze Krestanovith," said R'kin as he petted the eye ridges of his dragnet. The bronze weyrling already felt a little out of place suddenly and wondered if Marley felt like this sense it was pretty much determined they'd have to lead one day. While he looked at them then said, "I was a weaver and was search came to the weyr,".
While he stepped back there was nothing too impressive to tell about himself. "Hello, everyone my name is Krestanovith," said Krestanovith as he looked already noticing the two others. He had listened to their comments indeed everyone would learn their place and then stepped back to sit down by his rider. It lead to R'kin petting him then rubbing his eye ridges and then was quiet. A unusual pair the two of them would only speak up if they needed to get their point of view across.

Danuth was not as upset as he probably should have been by the other boy's statements. He would let it go in the good natured way he did all things. Not to worry, T'mar. I will try to do better about listening. We will all learn some more control in lessons. And just because he heard it did not mean he was going to tell G'off. There was a slight shift in the mood of the other boy and so he hoped G'off would not ruin things for himself.
Although his dragon might have been intimidated by a Queen, G'off was decidedly not. Her little command meant nothing to him. Besides he'd like to see her try and stop him. He would do as he pleased whether she liked it or not. In fact now that she had said something to him, he might just make it his personal mission to make her look bad. And that gargantuan woman rider of hers.
While Sorlen sought to find a way out of this new companionship, G'off was trying to find a way to turn things to his favor. Why fight the bond when it can be used to help you? The only thing he was concerned about was that when the Holdless did attack, he doubted they would differentiate between them and the other dragonriders. Perhaps for now they had better lie low, be friendly with the others and when the time was right they could leave and go where they pleased. He wouldn't have to be Holdless or a Weyr dragonrider. He could maybe just be free.
