Jarshan grinned slightly. "Why would being seen with a Northerner bother my reputation? Or you, for that matter?" Nevermind it was one of many details that had made her wary of him to begin with. But she was past that ... mostly. At least, until he did something suspicious to spark her mistrust once again. For now, he was fine. After all, he couldn't help where he was born!
"You are a fast learner. I do have to give you that credit. And is it a boon in your favor too." It was no secret that slow learners tended to get hurt more often than not when in Jarshan's company. Usually at her behest, but oh well. She wasn't going to torture D'ero any time soon. She stepped out of the dance floor, dragging him along with her as she made a bee-line for the drinks in question.
Nevermind she'd already harrassed him about trying to get her drunk once already this evening. It just wasn't a party without a little wine! Jarshan naturally had no intention of getting pasted at the party, but that was a whole other story. Picking up a glass she sniffed it before handing it off to D'ero. Whom she had noticed had a far less discerning taste in wine. Picking up another one, she sniffed that one instead.
Her sister was part of the Shield. Well crap. Maybe he ought not be bothering her, then. For he well remembered when the Shield rounded up the Expedition and herded them all that way much like unruly cattle might be. It was really hard to imagine that something as beautiful as Razia was related so closely to a cold hearted Shield! "Jealousy?" C'mar asked, curious at that comment. Never mind that even if a door was guarded, C'mar was not above sneaking in and out the back, stealing a ladyfriend out for a night of adventures elsewhere than indoors.
"Uh .. actually I threw myself in the ocean instead, during a storm." C'mar admitted. Though he wasn't quite going to admit it hadn't been over N'var. He'd been retrieving a bucket, of all things. R'gar had been quite peeved with him that day, for sure. "Obviously it didn't work very well." He laughed. "Cause I'm still here, aren't I?"
Oh! But now she was complimenting him. That was a switch! He couldn't help but grin broadly at her. "You're quite welcome m'lady. To be sure I won't be protesting that plan, either. Or the next." So long as they didn't bump into that bloodthirsty sister of hers somewhere along the way!
"Perhaps sometime I can take you a few places, get you a bit more well traveled and experienced in the ways of the world." C'mar offered, with a grin and a wink.
