Appearance: Blonde hair, hazel eyes with flecks of green, and standing at 5’6” Her hair reaches to the middle of her back and is completely straight, not even the hint of a wave or curl. She generally keeps it up off her neck in a runner's tail or braid. Her blue eyes are always taking things in and hardly miss anything that happens around her, whether she has been there many times or not. She has filled out with womanly curves, showing early on in her young life. She has curves in all the right places despite her wiry appearance, and her chest area is a little more than average. She has a nice simple chin that moves up to high cheekbones.
She has thin wide lips and thin eyebrows. She wears anything that has blue on it, despite her olive complexion. She doesn’t dress up that much except for special occasions. Her mother taught her to have proper posture in public, but when she's alone, she's not stiff. She slouches and relaxes when she gets moments alone. Myrrah prefers darker, richer colors. Her skin is not the translucence of the more common redhead, but the paleness that some dark brunettes have. Her skin tone favors darker colors. She wears skirts out of duty, but prefers pants and tunics if she has to get dirty. She has a small scar on the outside of her left thigh.
Personality: Sasta is a devoted mother to her only child and any of her fosterlings. She especially feels sorry for orphans. She spends long hours and many nights to make sure that the hides are accurate, the tithing trains are on time and the records are perfect, new Holders are settled where they should be and that the kitchens are going smoothly. She double and triple checks the freshness of the stored foods and the cleanliness of the guest rooms. She is fair in her dealings with others. She is quite liberal with her punishments if a drudge or child should be caught doing something wrong. But her punishments always fit the crime or trouble caused. Sasta has come to love her husband very much and has grown close to him. She is very considerate with him and will go to him if she needs his opinion on something. She is very supportive of his endeavors and will sometimes remind him of things he left undone. She is serious when she’s working, but she exudes an aura of patience and calm. She was a mixture of excitement and apprehension when she first came to new home. But she has relaxed over the two turns she's been handfasted to her husband and is quite enjoying herself.
Deep down in the dark corners of her heart, like nearly every woman, she has a jealous streak. She hasn’t quite gotten a hold of the emotion to keep it from raising it’s ugly head when it’s not wanted, or deserving of attention. She still struggles with the emotion from time to time, and in different situations. She takes her duty as Lady Holder, even to a minor Holding, quite seriously. She always has a smile on her lips and a kind word for anyone she sees with a frown or who's been crying. History: Sasta was born as the third child of five to Lord Kosta and Lady Sadrine of Igen Hold. She was an obedient child and adored by her mother, Sadrine. She shared a close bond with her mother, closer than her other siblings. She was used to being with her mother nearly everywhere she went. She learned many things about running a Hold and etiquette in Hold matters. Her mother was pregnant with another child when Sasta was eight turns old. Sadrine gave birth with complications during the labor with Kadrine. For a while after her younger sister’s birth, Sasta resented the babe that had taken her mother‘s affection from her. She didn’t want to have anything to do with Kadrine. But after a short few months, she started to warm up to the little girl. Though at times she often wondered how such a little girl could grow up to be such an airhead. She knew at a young age that she would be married off to the son of a Lord Holder. One that would inherit, no doubt. She didn’t really mind so much. She took her lessons on etiquette and proper behavior seriously. She enjoyed her Harper lessons the most.
Sasta was content to wait to know when she would be married off to some stranger. But it didn’t happen until she was 19 turns old. She had been a guest with Kosta and Sadrine to a formal dinner at Benden Hold. There she met the Holder‘s third son, Melridar. And shortly after their meeting she learned she was to be his wife in a short time. Sasta took the events in stride and even helped with a few of the preparation details for her own Handfasting. Though she grew to love him during their early turns of marriage and would not change the past even if she could. She had thought that Melridar would be arrogant, self-centered and abhorrent, but she found firsthand that he was much more. She settled right in with Melridar and was very happy when she bore Melridar their first child, Sadrine. She just confirmed her suspicions that she’s pregnant again, and has told her husband, who is also ecstatic about having another child. She hopes this child will be a male.
