Character
Name: C'mar, Cemar
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Rank: Smith Apprentice
Emphasis: Metalwork, though capable at stonework
Sexual Orientation: Het
Family: Parents: Father Coar, Mother Sreva. Younger siblings: sister Racena, brother Kovo, three others that did not survive infancy
Appearance: Cemar is another one of those towering lads. Marking in at 6' 1", he's plainly not done growing yet at all. Already set with a wide frame, he has yet to bulk out however. Instead he's covered in stringy whipcord muscle that is far more powerful than it looks. As he fills out into an adult man, he promises to be a wall of muscle, though he's not there just yet. He's very quick and light on his feet for his size, and might well always be that way.
He holds the same dark genetics that the rest of his family does, having the same pitch black, straight hair. He keeps his a bit longer than most of his folks do, opting to braid it into a thick que rather than just pony it up. Simply because to braid it, it needs to be longer. And a braid is less likely to catch and hold a stray spark. He fully intends to never repeat what a cousin once endured; setting his hair aflame!
With eyes that are a very dark rich green as to almost be black, the true color doesn't come out unless he's standing in the full sunlight. Most of the time people just assume his eyes are as black as the rest of his family's eyes are. His nose isn't quite as thick, though it is definitely not a small specimen, being slightly more narrow.
Cemar tends to wear clothing that has no sleeves whatsoever, and the skin on his arms reflects it very well, being a very nutty, dark color for it. Either from being exposed to the heat of the forge, or to the heat of the sun, he is very well tanned on his arms. He found early on that long sleeves in a forge was also a bad idea, even if it did provide a barrier to ambient heat. It also, unfortunately, liked to catch sparks. Due to not wearing any sleeves, though, his forearms are already marked by his craft. As a couple of times a hot piece of steel slipped, and branded a scar into the skin there. But these marks, while obviously burn scars, are not overly large or obtrusive.
Personality: Cemar is a spunky lad if anything, and it is not unusual in the least to find him aping around somewhere being a tad stupid. Despite this, he's not as stupid as it sometimes appears. He's actually quite intelligent, which is how he gets into the predicaments he does. He's not above making fun or mocking something, but he doesn't tend to do it too terribly often.
When he works, he is an all-out worker. You can definitely count on him to get the job done, and it doesn't matter how much muscle it takes to get the job done. He'll keep at it until it is done. He's also quite skilled with the metals he works will, adept at twisting and forming and hammering the not quite molten material into attractive, yet functional shapes. He's certainly got an artistic flair to his metalwork, for sure.
But when he's not working, there is really no telling what the lad is going to get himself into. Whether it is chasing down a runner and jumping onboard for the ride of his life, or climbing to the top of the biggest tree he can find to see where the next tallest tree is ... or trying to win the attention of some of the prettier lasses! He's a bit horrible at getting any said attention, and he's not entirely sure why that is, yet.
Hobbies/Skills: Catching unbroke runners and riding them tackless until they're too tired to run anymore!!! Amazing he hasn't busted he head open yet...
Pets: none
History: Cemar is the oldest of all of his siblings, and grew up with more than just his siblings. Being part of a close knit family that never really spread out very much, he interacted with uncles and aunts that were also still young and growing up themselves, not to mention a myriad of cousins. As a result, there was always something they were getting into, and more often than not, someone usually wound up getting hurt in some way, if only by accident. But such is the wiles of the young!
His father was a smith with his own forge, worked by quite a few of the male members of the family. So it was only natural when Cemar came of age to apprentice that he took to his father's forge. Suddenly having a craft to learn and work at, he had considerably less time to wander around and get into trouble.
This didn't seem to slow him down much, though, much to the chagrin of the neighbors. Instead of backing off of the wild side, Cemar seemed to only get more playful when he was free, getting into even more trouble. None of it was deliberately destructive, but he was a young lad, and well, these things happen.
One random fistfight between brothers ended up in a corral fence being busted, and the entire stock of herdbeasts getting away. It was quite an adventure to find them all again and herd them back, rooting them out of the brushy hollow that they'd gone and hid in. Of course, the entire community became aware of the incident and ended up having to help round the animals up again.
People knew that Cemar was not deliberately a troublemaker, being quite a nice lad when he wasn't being a tad crazy-playful, but all the same people didn't really like it when he turned up. Unless he had business, of course. Business was fine. Things rarely got haywire for business.
When a mission to go to the Southern continent was discreetly passed around, Cemar jumped at the chance, wanting to know what was out there, and if there really was anything out there. Sure, there were tales. But were there really any truth to them?? Cemar wanted to know. And if not ... oh well so what. It would be a whole new area to explore and no one could yell at him for stumbling sideways in the wrong direction and inadvertently smashing a whole basket of eggs ...

Dragon Information
Name: Lokinth (Loe-kin-th)
Impressed To: Cemar (C'mar)
Color: Blue
Age: Newly Hatched
Description: A hefty blue, this dragon will be just the right size for his color. Aside from a slightly deeper chest and shorter legs, Lokinth is normality incarnate. Of a darker coloration, his body is a solid inky midnight, a very deep hue. A brilliant sapphire stomach gives his hide a more interesting appearance, as well as an unusual patch of the same color around his left eye. His neckridges are pure black, as are his toes. His claws, in startling relief against his body, are a shocking bone-white.
Personality: With a wicked sense of humor, this blue is known for his sharp tongue and quick wit. There is hardly ever a time that Lokinth cannot think of something clever or sarcastic to say. Holding a rather mischievous personality, he loves practical jokes and teasing his clutchmates. As he grows, there will doubtlessly be few dragons who can say they haven’t been tricked by this sly blue. Unlike another of his clutchmates, Lokinth does not thrive on creating trouble between others, but rather on tricking anyone he can. He absolutely loves to play tricks on all of his clutchmates, except for the lovely gold. He would never do anything to her or Hers.
Rather than take things seriously, Lokinth tends to regard the world with a cool sense of amusement. Even when others are angry with him for his tricks, this blue merely takes it all in with an aloof bemusement. He seems to find everything funny in some way, and is hard-pressed to take anything at all in a grave manner, even wingdrills. Never pushing himself, Lokinth will doubtlessly do only what is required of him.
