That is the name of my husband's dog, Cricket. And this morning, we woke to find him vomiting 2 or 3 times. And now, I don't know what is wrong. He keeps shaking his head, scratching at his head, like there is something in his head or rather, his ears. I am about to take him to the vet in a few minutes to see if we can find out what is wrong. I am hoping and praying that it's not serious. I'll post more information, when I have it. But if it is serious, I may not be posting for a while. I'll try to keep you all updated.

I hope Cricket is going to be ok. Good luck at the Vet. Vomiting is one of those symptoms that can mean a lot of different things. As long as he's been kept up to date on his vaccines it should not be a serious disease. It could be allergies as both symptoms would be caused by allergic reaction. If you recently changed food or he ate something he shouldn't have it could also be allergies. Scratching at ears is usually due to an infection of the ear, inside the ear it will smell bad and there will be a lot of build up in his ears, the ears might even be red from irritation or swollen. Sometimes the build up looks like a waxy yellow and that smells even worse, thats a yeast infection. Hoping all will be alright! HG

As it turns out, he's doing better now. We think he might have just caught a cold. I'm keeping an eye on him though, to be sure.
