Osaris starred off into space with skadyth tucked up against her side. The common room had few people in it for once, and Osaris was taking advantage of this by sitting in it.
Osaris didn't really have a clique, and she often found herself excluded. She and Skadyth didn't have much good to say on a lot of the other dragons. The few people they even knew they didn't see much or talk to. They were more observant than anything, and they could tell you something about most weyrlings, but they didn't actually know the weyrling pair very well.
In fact, they grouped most of the girls into the "petty" file, and the others they hadn't really gotten a chance to talk to. Of course, if they had talked to them, they probably would have made a social blunder that would have gotten them disliked.
So, they sat silently, starring off into space, not really thinking about much, but kind of taking in what was going on around them.
