Hello everyone, I'm HG (aka Katie or hrsegrl). Founder of this site I have employed the wonderful FireThorne and Wher extrorrdinaire (haha it rhymes!) motzart to get us underway.

tee hee, everyone else is here, I might as well ^_^

I'm Marnarktranarprol!! Marnark for short. I've been RPing for about 18 years now, 15 of that was on paper with my sister. I've been doing online RP for about 3 years now, and that was also when I started doing the DRoP bit. Everything prior to that was in my own made up universe.

I am also a published author of Fantasy Adventure novels, one in print a second fixing to hit print soon as I can finish editing and formatting it. I am a driving horse trainer and a self reliant homesteader/farmer/rancher. So ... I LIVE ON PERN! Minus the dragons, unfortunately. darn! Making bread from wheat, plowing the field, tending the goats with herbal remedies (and myself too), sewing, weaving, spinning, yeah I do all that. ^_^ Just finished making hay! I also teach piano, despite being self taught ... so my days are never the same. Who knows what I'll be doing next...

I am online nearly every day, though, usually during the heat of the day in summer, or after dark in winter. I love to write, and I hope I never have to put this away. As a result, I have my own DRoP severely non-canon board, Aphelion Weyr, that has been running along without a day of inactivity for about 2 years now. ^_^ yay for imagination!

Ummm ... I dunno what else to say!

I love the idea that is behind EP, and I hope this place is one of the ones that flourishes! I am excited to see where this goes! Here's to plot arcs!

Hi, i'm kiren or Lore answer to both.

I been Rping for a bit now. Even did some at another dragonrider site. Till the rules there got a little to much. Was a member there for two years and then they decided to make us pass a bunch of tests to stay. I passed but a lot of my friends did not. So we have been looking for a new site to make our home.

I have a As in graphic design and i'm a reading tutor currently at the schools. I draw dragons and anime. Have some things on deviantart.com have a lot more to color and post. I love to write and write poems as well. But my writing skills are not perfect. I hope that isn't to much of a problem. But if you let me know that something hard to understand i can edit it.

Hi! I'm Lady Smara, though I often answer to simply "E", "Smara" and even recently just straight "Lady" though that is usually directly after a 'strange' or 'crazy'. xD

I am a friendly Mod here at EP. I've only a handful of characters, but I hope to help the board spread and grow through Admin/Mod NPC's. My first trial and test is the current Candidate thread led by WeyrHarper Arlin. If this proves successful, you may see me with a whole toolbox full of characters used simply for getting things rocking around here!

I can also see the hatchlings, but I'm not sharing any secrets there!

I take requests for threads or plot ides. Just PM me and I'll see if we can't make it happen.

Hi! I'm Parallel. Para works grand too since everyone gets tired typing all the "L"'s ;]
I'm 20 and I've been rping now for just about a year now, not long at all compared to everyone else here. But to be honest I don't know how I lived without it for this long! I'm an avid reader/writer so rping definitely uses up much of muses extra energy.

I've loved the DRoP from the moment I heard about the series. I have a thing about dragons, I adore them. Anything fantasy based gets my heart pounding actually, but dragons are just wonderful.

I live on the teeny tiny island of Ireland, so my timing may be a bit off when it comes to posting, but as I'm on my computer most of the day/night working and such, it doesn't interfere too much and I will always reply to a thread, generally pretty quickly :]

Love the concept of EP, love the people and am eagerly awaiting the hatching, having read the previous one and been blown away by it.

If anyone wants to thread or plot with me just gimme a shout! I'm all ears! or eyes as the case may be?

My username is hbk but you can call me Heather I've been in Pern Fandom for 8 years! Although during those eight years I've only ever been apart of Pern PBeMs (play by emails). This is my first Pern Forum so you'll have to help me adjust and get use to things!

Th' name's Crazy, and it's a pleasure t' be meetin' you all.
I've been roleplaying off and on for years now - first dabbled a bit in 2006, then dropped it completely (due to lack of a computer) until sometime in 2008, when I once again delved into the world of rp. At that time, I was in several forums at once - including one Warriors (Erin Hunter series, any other fans out there?) group where I accidentally became second in command since the two people who joined before me vanished and left me and the original creator to our own devices. We built the guild up to an admirable ten members, with some thirty characters and some really great plots. However, that went downhill when the original creator vanished and every plot with her characters (all of them XD) came to a complete standstill. I lurked for a few weeks, still hoping she'd come back, but to no avail.
At this same time, I was in two other Dragonriders of Pern forums, both of which ground to a plot standstill at roughly the same time as the Warriors one. So I stopped checking up on them.
I've done much more non-forum rping since then (in the form of two uber-nerdy rps, one where two other friends of mine and I sit in a circle and speak aloud to each other - okay, we act it out a bit too - our characters' thoughts, words, movements, etc. Pretty much vocal-posting in a very turn based way in a world we three completely made up. The other is a little more conventional, and is well documented, in the form of note passing between one of my friends and I.
So, yeah. Lots of experience.

I've actually been considering getting back into DRoP rp for a while now, but I wasn't really that motivated to actually follow through - it took the passing of our beloved First Queen to remind me how much I love the world of Pern and all of its possibilities.
