A lady in every respect of the word, Galeda has long, dark brown curly hair that reaches her mid back. Often to keep it out of her face her mother has had it pulled up with bejeweled clips and hair nets. Dark, thick eyelashes frame a pair of intense brown eyes. Dark thin, well shaped brows are just above followed by a slightly large forehead. The young woman retains a sense of pride in the way she looks. With her mother’s fair skin and her father’s unnerving dark brown gaze. Her eyes belie a depth and understanding of the world that would be seen in someone older, while her youth shows through every other part of her. Her body is slightly curved as it should be. A young maiden would have no marriage prospects if she were to grow too voluptuous as it is a sign of having borne children.
She doesn’t think of herself as a great beauty, and in fact, her elder sister is much lovlier. Many would call her cute, though she'd rather take beautiful on any given day. Most people would consider her petite standing a little under 5’3” and doesn’t weigh more than 120lbs. Her oval face, framed by her dark hair and rather large ears, is like that of a doll's without a blemish to be seen.
Or at least, that's how it was before she entered that dragon-forsaken jungle which made her sweat and in doing so, she found she had pimples upon arriving at the Weyr. Her nose is also considered cute. Whatever that means! She has small features, with round, somewhat large eyes. Her lips are small but well shaped and spread nicely into a beautiful smile over perfectly white teeth. Although she has a pale complexion, her cheeks are often a soft pink color that matches her lips.
Life as a Lord's daughter meant she did not want for anything. Her clothes were made from the finest materials and of the best dyes. Her mother often chose her outfits based on what colors went best with her skin tone and what styles were in fashion. She is completely unused to the rough life she has been living since joining the expedition, longing for the day when she can wear a gown and jewelry. Her hair has spent much of its time pulled into a large thick braid since she joined the expedition.
Personality:
A lady is expected to be several things. One, she must be inviting and warm towards those lesser than herself. To her equals, she should be firm in he rbelief in herself and be able to tell others her true opinions on matters except if her husband or father wishes her not to. A lady should always be a model to others and show a grace and intelligence known only to those of elevated rank. Lastly, a lady should always be charming. Galeda is these things and more. She is soft spoken at times, and at others her voice could reach across a room, not by shouting but in the clarity and strength she can put behind words if she so chooses.
The young woman is intelligent, using her mind to think of ways to help those around her she can be quite useful to her mother and father. She is friendly towards those lesser than herself, though she is only trying to be so to make them feel better about themselves. Whether she truly wants to be nice to those people or not is something she won't discuss out loud. It would be rude. Ladies are never ever rude. Her mother was strict with all of her children's upbringing. Even as the youngest child, Galeda was fawned over and scrutinized. She was always clean, never played with the Hold children, was present and on time for any and all lessons and put forth the effort for anything that was required of her as a lady.
A calming person, her siblings often sought her out to console them when they were down. Being the kind person she was, she only had nice things to say to them and they went away happier than when they had first come to her. Galeda is a little sheltered; okay...a lot sheltered. She believes there is good in anyone and everything despite not always being able to see it. The kind girl is often the first to be optimistic about a situation. Always, she has known when it was prudent to keep ones mouth shut and when it was prudent to open it. She generally keeps herself from saying anything unless her opinion is wanted, or if she has something very nice to say to someone. As charming as she is, it's no wonder that the young woman had many admirers. However, her first engagement fell through and her parents are seeking an exceptional match before they let her marry. In the meantime, she is being useful by going on this quest, as her brother is heir and both of her sisters are either married or about to be so.
When it comes to love and marriage she believes that they are two very different things. A man my love a woman he can not, in good conscience, marry. A woman need not love her husband to be married to him. Such arrangements are made based on assets. Although she herself might not be resigned yet to a loveless marriage, she is aware that it may happen. She does believe in fidelity and purity. Galeda will wait to give herself to the man she marries. Flirting does not suit her as she expects to be courted and choose the one man who she will spend her life with.

History:
Adopter to Add
Name: Eoth (Eh-oth)
Color: Green
Age: 3 Turns
Description: Born the largest green in her clutch, Eoth can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the smaller blues easily. However, despite her massive size, this dragon is still beautiful, with excellent conformation and smooth muscles. Her dished face appears very intelligent, and she walks with a graceful air, even as a hatchling. With an unusual coloration, it almost seems as if nature intended to make Eoth a gold. A rich, bright green covers most of her hide without variation, but it is her markings that give this dragon her beauty. Dancing across her body are small, thread-like strands of gold covering her hide in varying patterns, small but there. They are a deep, shimmering gold, and catch the light quite often as this green moves. They flash in the sun like lightening, and lend Eoth a very unusual, interesting appearance indeed. Her claws are a light, frosty green.
Personality: A mild dragon, Eoth is an exceedingly likable green. First and foremost, she is rather kind, and is a very soothing presence. She can find the good in every situation, and the good in every heart. No matter how badly someone feels, the graceful Eoth can bring new light to the circumstances. Always soft-spoken and calm, this green is known for her gentle personality, and will hardly ever find an enemy. However, she is also likely to be excluded from any sort of play or nonsense, since most of the dragons see her as more of a matronly spirit.
A lady in every respect, Eoth always exhibits grace and discretion. She is quite proper in speech, and constantly holds herself with poise. Rather elegant, this green reminds one more of a gold, for she is very much a lady in body and spirit. Never given to idle flirtations, Eoth feels they are improper and expects to be courted with respect and honor by any who wish to stay at her side. Her favorite activities are walking by the lake and admiring lovely things. Unlike many dragons, this green would prefer to be bathed quickly and dried off, rather than wallow in the waters.
History: The Wind and Dawn Egg began to rock even more, great shudders dancing across the wispy, pale colors of the shell. The starburst breaks suddenly collapsed inward, and a sinuous paw could be seen tearing at the new crevices made by the fractures. Clearly green, the dragonet worked quickly at her prison, both paws grasping at the breaks to push them outward until she had broken enough of her shell to step out. She did not fall, she did not stumble, and she did not sit once her ordeal was done. Stalking forward, her movements fluid and graceful, here was another dragonet that caused a murmuring to begin. At first, it was hard to see on her wet hide, but as the remarkably graceful dragonet stepped regally onto the sands, the glows flashed against her body and revealed small, thread-like tendrils of gold running through her green coloration. Many riders were baffled by this. After all, who had ever heard of a green with gold in her hide? Not to mention her size. The green was positively massive for her color, easily standing as tall as some blues they had seen. Yet, despite her great size, she moved with an unearthly poise. Tossing her head once, the green ignored the male candidates and prowled toward the females, every movement refined and smooth.
The gold-threaded-green moved past several girls, her whirling eyes moving over them gently. They were all very nice, indeed, but not quite meant for her. Tsking softly to herself, the green walked very primly over to a particular girl, getting as little sand on her paws as possible. Here we are, Galeda my dear. Allow me to introduce myself. I am your Eoth. We must become better acquainted of course, but I should like to be fed soon, if it isn’t too much of a bother.[/color]The lovely, rich voice was rather proper as it echoed in the girl’s mind, far more suited to a gold than a green.[/i]
