There was nothing that compared to the feeling of flying upon the back of his glorious Szarth. The large Brown moved effortlessly, his wings only needing to beat once, the warm air current enough to carry them a great distance. The Brown moved with an agility that belied his size. He was fast and swift and the feeling of the wind in his face was what L'nar lived for. He whooped with joy as he held onto the riding straps as the brown banked round hard, forcing his rider to hold on tight.
It is the perfect day today for flying!! The brown said with a laugh in his voice. Hold tight L'nar, I feel the need for speed. the brown called and L'nar sighed, rolling his eyes as the dragon dived fast. Suddenly he pulled up, twisting and throwing L'nar round in the saddle, the rider laughed hard, he loved doing daring stunts, but it had got them into trouble in the past and he was sure it would again.
They swirled lower, circling as they came into land. The dragon was full of vitality, he loved flying, he loved everything he was required to do. Touching the dirt of the Bowl under them he back winged to stop himself and then tucked his wings neatly in, looking over at L'nar who was sitting grinning on his back. Quickly he unsnapped the safety straps and jumped from his back, landing neatly at his feet. “That was great buddy” he said, slapping the large head. The dragon snorted, and L'nar removed his helmet, “seems that wing has healed nicely, but no silliness ok?” He warned him.
It did not even feel stiff today. Szarth replied, making L'nar shake his head. “I know, but we don't want to aggravate that muscle do we?” he said. The Brown snorted and settled down to sleep in the sun. L'nar sat next to him, it was a good day to be a rider.
