Hello everyone.

I know things have been slow around here lately. And it is for this reason I’ve had to come to a decision. When it took days to hear back from some of the key players on the board (some of who have yet to get back to me) I realized just how bad things had become for EP. I’m not going to sugar coat this or make excuses; the fact of the matter is this site is dying. So instead of watching the place die a slow and painful death, I would prefer to close it.

To those of you who have rped with me recently and know that I’ve been responding, I’ve been trying my best to be active because other people have not been able to be. There have been many issues for people in the admin/mod staff that have kept them from being active. They are in no way to be blamed for this. We have not attracted enough members to really keep this place going as it should.

My solution to you if you would like to continue rping with the people here is that we pick up or transfer some characters to a site I really feel will be a good fit, Second Pass it’s a canon site and I have spoken with the admin about possibility of transferring characters. Make sure there are some of the same color dragons the age you are looking for in their records. It might be difficult to transfer Bronzes. Golds on their board are Impressed.

It has been such a pleasure to rp with all of you. I am truly sorry but I just don’t have enough fight in me to keep it going this time around. The site will remain open for those who want to finish up their threads, gather up their character sheets etc. Anyone who wants help with transferring characters let me know I’ll contact the admins of Second Pass over IM.

Hello guys, my name is Honey Love and I'm one of the founding admin over at Second Pass.

I'd like to extend our personal invitation for you to come and join us at Second Pass, but I'd also like to note that I'll be checking in over the next week or so and will be happy to answer any questions here you might have about potentially transferring your characters to our site. You can also contact me at 'FireDitto' on AIM, though I work full time and live in Australia, so my online timeframe is usually between about ~3am to about 7am weekdays for American/Canadian-ish area. Friday and Saturday (Thursday and Friday Non-Aussie time) I'm around at all kinds of hours as I don't work those days.


We will be more than willing to work with you as much as we can within the confines of Katila's history, to help you make any characters you might wish to transfer a fit for the site historically. However, because of the said history at Katila Weyr, at present we have some rather strong restrictions on minimal ages for dragonriders. This is, mostly, simply because of when the Plague started and the lack of clutches in recent passes. However!

I would also like to offer the opportunity for any young riders, especially those that Impressed here on EP, the chance to re-Impress the same dragon in an up coming clutch (not necessarily this clutch, but definitely in the future. Krypth will be clutching every 3 RL months) if you should so desire. We have a few young bronze, brown, blue and green available that survived to help found Katila, though by 'young' I mean in their early thirties upward. (which, by SPW is definitely young; our riders live to be over 100 and my 47y/o looks ~32)

We also have a few Renewed Hope Clutchmates left (their dragons are 4 years old; they are completely open to your interpretation etc.) and we have just opened up the World Above Weyrlings for adoption (Unfortunately, they have a solid outline. If you suck up to Featherpirate, you might get leave to edit her dragonets xD) if any of those capture your eye.

Again, we are more than willing to work with you as much as we can within the confines of our History. That said, we're willing to change age ratios of the Plague Survivors on a one-per-player basis, if that will help you bring across a rider (within reason, of course, some rider ages just won't fit at Katila presently).


Firelizards; Currently, they are considered extinct. However, we will be bringing them into game play, probably around December or early in 2013. If you want to keep your flitter descriptions somewhere safe, you will likely be able to reattach them to any transfers before too long.


Lastly; Please take note of SPW's viewer warning. We are a mature site and do cover topics and swearing that may be unsuitable or undesirable to some people. You won't come across anything explicit on the forums, but sometimes the line is walked and the characters are known to throw around "the F word" with little forewarning. We prefer players aged 16 and above.

It all started when Lessa traveled back in time to bring the Weyrs forward. No one ever thinks of the weak, feeble, young, and old that were left behind. Benden wasn't the only group of people left alone. Meet the remnants of Telgar Weyr, those who could not travel forward with the rest, those who are determined to eek out an existence, even if it means their lives.

It has been 300 Turns since the others mysteriously vanished. No one at Telgar even knows what happened. All they know is the stories that have been passed down from generation to generation about some "mysterious plague" that made everyone vanish. Some people even say that there was a Holder uprising that caused a war amongst the other Weyrs. No one knows for sure... Well, except for the Time Keepers. Only a select group of individuals living know about /timing it/ and what happened to their ancestors. It is within these individuals that the secret must continue living.

Currently the Senior Queen Yorpeth has passed quietly with old age. Now the only remaining gold dragon at Telgar Weyr must balance the hopes and future of Telgar Weyr on the slim chance that a gold egg will be clutched on the Sands. Come and meet the Telgar Weyr you were never told about.

We are in Turn 2300 of the Second Long Interval before the 9th Pass.

[x] Brand-spanking new! Telgar Weyr has just been created! We are waiting for enough folks to join and then we will begin our story! There's plenty of open space, and an open Mod position.
