Revyketh prowled along the edge of the lake , his eyes fixed on a shoal of fish near the bank. He was hungry. Darting his head forward he snapped up two of the large fish in the blink of an eye and snapped his jaws, devouring them. His tail flicked back and forth as her hummed deeply, enjoying the fishy taste. His rider P'lel was... well he was somewhere! The brown wasn't exactly sure at the moment, but that didn't matter, there was more fish to catch!
A tiny squawking flitter interrupted his next dip in the water and Rev looked up to see his rider's bronze fire lizard fluttering in her face. Be gone little one! I'm busy! I don't need any help right now. But Kialio continued to chirp and squeak at him, as if trying to relay a message of some kind. Revyketh swung his great head around to find his rider standing ten paces away. Oh there you are! Look Mine, fish!
P'lel rolled his eyes at his highly independent brown and stretched out an arm to summon Kialio back to him. The bronze flit zoomed down and landed happily on his forearm before crawling up to his shoulder and settling down. "Rev... I need to ask you a favour. Would you mind contacting Tseravith for me and asking if his rider is free to interview me please?" the fawn brown could feel his rider's nerves at the thought of being interviewed by the wingleader. Of course he replied easily, flaring his wings to give them a good stretch. Reaching his mind out he searched for Tseravith's and asked My rider wishes to know if Yours would be willing to interview him? Any time or place is convenient for us.
P'lel let out a long sigh as his brown snaked his head around to him. I hope this goes well...

J’ldaem of TseravithWeyrleader && Pyralis Wingleader Mine, P’lel of Revyketh wish to have an interview. [More Weyrlings I see. Where are they now?] They seem to be by the lake... I would not mind a midday swim either. [Very well you brute, let them know we are on our way.]
With a wave of delight flooding the Weyrleader’s mind, much to his sudden chagrin, the bronze soon turned to connect with the younger brown as he relayed the message. You and Yours may wait for us by the lake, we’ll be there shortly. His task done the bronze gathered himself from sunning on his ledge, slowly but steadily making his way through the air to reach the weyrling pair. With ease of turns flying the bronze landed not far off from the duo and their firelizard, the older bronze crooning a greeting to the other before he slipped into the lake with grace and control, barely causing the water to backlash on the shore out of the fair minimum required when such a massive beast entered a lake.
[Showoff.] I am a bronze, J’ldaemMine. [I had almost forgotten, what with the way you’re usually fawning over Issarith since her last flight; and ignoring all the other golds.] She’s the only gold worthy of my attentions; and her Sakorai is the only that can give you the status as Weyrleader. [Yeah, yeah...]
While the bronze had departed from the weyr in which both man and dragon lived in J’ldaem had made his way to the lake from his office; stopping by the lower caverns to grab a basket of sweetened breadrolls and various cheese pieces from different flavors. A mug of warm klah and two cups had also been procured, the man figured he might as well have a nice lunch by the lake as he carried the interview, P’lel was free to join him if he wished. Finally arriving the Weyrleader placed the stuff down a considerable distance from the shore, before extending his right hand to firmly shake that of P’lel’s in greeting.
”Ah, P’lel of Revyketh. Glad to see you both are well, your brown has certainly grown quite a bit from his hatching days.”
Pleasantries and greetings, the man was quite used to them by now. While the Weyrleader might seem warm and welcoming enough there was no mistake in the way his eyes assessed the younger lad; the interview had already started and he wold be judging every body language, word and action from P’lel here on out.

Revyketh hummed delightedly at the response from Tseravith. They're on their way he said easily to his partner. P'lel nodded, pleased that the Weyrleader had accepted his request. He hoped he wasn't taking too much time away from the man's busy schedule, but he really did need to get his interviews started. Feeding Kialio a small piece of dried meat he waited by the bank of the lake for the bronze and his rider to arrive.
Rev bugled a greeting when he saw Tseravith circling in the sky.
P'lel turned to find the Weyrleader walking down towards him. He went to greet J'ldaem, inclining his head slightly as he shook his hand. "Thank you very much Weyrleader, he has indeed grown large, though not as much as his brother" he said smiling, teasing his fawn coloured brown ever so slightly. Revyketh flicked his tail, ignoring his rider and sent his thoughts to the bronze, Care for some fish? he asked, gesturing to the water. P'lel always did think his brown was a very informal creature, he hoped that wouldn't be held against him.

J’ldaem of TseravithWeyrleader && Pyralis Wingleader ”Ah yes, Mnemoth of J’von. They are both very striking dragons, and certainly fine additions to our Weyr.”
With a smile the man signaled for the other to join him on the shore, sitting down afterwards as he removed the lid from the basket containing the breadrolls and cheese. P’lel was free to help himself, even if it did give the interview a more informal touch than the Weyrleader was used to. Still some time to relax was good; and it was a nice opportunity to watch possible future members of his wing and how they interacted in more comfortable situations.
”So tell me, P’lel, why does Pyralis Wing interest you and Revyketh?”
A mug filled three fourths of the way with warm klah was handed to the weyrling as he joined him, J’ldaem filing a second mug for himself and taking a welcomed sip from the beverage, before picking one of the breadrolls and stuffing it slightly with some of the various cheeses he had brought along. Lunch by the lake, on such a nice afternoon, was a welcomed change from the Lower caverns or his office.
I will go with Revyketh to fish. [But you ate barely three days ago.] I wish to asses him. And I like fish. [Very well, but don’t gorge. We have exercises again in the evening with the wing.]
Giving a stretch of his frame as the bronze enjoyed the lake’s water he turned his whirling eyes, filled with blue and green shades, to regard Revyketh once more as the younger dragon suggested his idea. With a rumble of approval the bronze signaled he would let the younger move first.
That sounds like a pleasant idea, Revyketh. Lead the way.
