K'len finally desided who he was gonna go to next for his interview. He had Rhyseth set up the meeting time with bronze Tseravith. He figured if he could survive a interview with Weyrleader J’ldaem then he could probably handle anything they tossed at him. Course this did not make him any less nervous. He was a bundle of nerves seeming to be more then usual. He didn't understand why he was more nervous then normal. He decided it probably was just cause it had gotten a bit hotter lately. He paused at the door to the records room where they had been conducting the meetings so far. He knocked softly on the door hoping that he was on time. It wouldn't do to be late for a meeting with the Weyrleader.

J’ldaem of TseravithWeyrleader && Pyralis Wingleader [I still think this is silly, I have no time for silly auditions with Weyrlings.] That might be Mine, but this way we can see who are most fit to join our wing. [That’s easy, only those willing to follow orders to perfection and keep up with training. And undying loyalty, of course.]
In his mind the bronze seemed to let out something akin to laughter, clearly amused by his bonded; though both man and dragon shared the same sentiments. Only those strong of both mind and body—as well as willing to be loyal to Pyralis Wing and its Wingleader—were truly welcomed into their ranks. And while those currently composing his wing had been chosen for him by the previous ruling faction of Refuge he could now start filling the roles himself as more available dragonriders joined their ranks.
Already the man felt good enough about N’var, the Greenrider was excellent at following orders and so long as he allowed him visits to the North (while still under work of course) the man would follow him to the grave if needed. He really had A’lez to thank for that, the same with J’zen. While at first the man hadn’t been exactly sure N’var had vouched for the fellow Northener, and so fr the Bluerider had shown to be just as able and loyal—if things continued in such a way J’ldaem was sure he had finally found the man to be his Whingthird for Pyralis.
It was his Wingsecond, A’miri of bronze Achillith, whom the man was still very unsure of—he’d had little to no contact with the other bronzerider aside from their wingdrills and queenflights, and the way he had seemed to coddle, as Tseravith often put it into words, the weyrlings at first had unnerved his own bronze to no end.
Who knows, perhaps this new batch of Cosmic Weyrlings will hold some competent high ranks to fill his spot. [You just don’t like competition from another bronze.] No, Mine, you are wrong. I don’t like having soft bronzes that tried to coddle my brood under my wing is all.
J’ldaem simply rolled his eyes as he finished tidying up in his office, having already received the message through Tseravith that K’len of Green Rhyseth was on his way and would arrive shortly. The Weyrleader really wasn’t looking forwards to all of this much, but it was a necessary duty the man knew well enough that he could not shirk; no matter how sorely tempted he might feel for it. As the faint knocking finally came onto the wooden door the man turned his hard steel blue gaze towards it, his voice loud and steady as a figure of authority known as the Weyrleader should be.
”Come in, K’len of Rhyseth, I’ve been expecting you. Please close to door behind you, and take a seat.”
While the words were nothing odd and quite normal for greeting the younger weyrling it was clear by the way the man watched the young boy that he was assessing K’len from the moment he had stepped into his office. Like a deer in a cage of jaguars the young Greenrider was in his domain now; he would either have the resolve and will to stand pressure or simply be spooked away like many others.
Just like Tseravith J’ldaem did not believe in coddling youngsters; and these weyrlings were far past any coddling point at this age.

K'len hurried in closing the door behind him as he entered as he was instructed. He of course was just as nervous at this interview as he was of the last one. Only this time it was the Weyrleader himself. A high and well respected Leader one that booked no nonsense. So he had reason to be nervous. He did want to make a good impression even if he wasn't right for the weyrleaders wing. He hurried to take his seat. "Good Day Weyrleader J’ldaem my duty to you and Bronze Tseravith" He said softly. "Thank you for taking the time to see me. I know that you have many more important matters that need your attention. " He said in a steady calm voice. Even though this was required he did feel bad about interrupting the weyrleaders day.

J’ldaem of TseravithWeyrleader && Pyralis Wingleader ”It’s quite alright young K’len; after all you and Rhyseth are part of the future of Refuge—and as such bear a very high importance above other matters and deserve my full attention.”
As the youngster took his seat the Weyrleader moved to a nearby table, pouring some warm klah from a pitcher into two cups. Picking them up he walked back to his desk, offering one of them to the greenweyrling and waiting long enough for the younger man to take it before he sat in the corner of the wooden desk. While the lad was doing a good effort of keeping calm J’ldaem was sure the kid was probably a mass of nerves on the inside; the warm drink would help ease down any anxious feelings with some luck.
”Alright, first things first; why would you wish to be part of Pyralis Wing? And why should Pyralis Wing want you?”
He was cutting to the chase, no time for small talk. He wanted to get to know exactly the reasons for the boy to be interested in his wing; and the man planned to read through every body language hint and words to get to the truth of it all. Honesty was something J’ldaem valued highly, if only because it took full trust and open truth to guarantee the undying loyalty he required of members in his wing.

K'len took the cup carefully and took a sip as the weyrleader sat down. He looked up as the man asked his first question. "Well Weyrleader J’ldaem. I believe that i could make a good fit in Pyralis wing. During the Holderless attack I went forward to meet the attacker who had just taken out the rider who was defending us. I pulled another weyrling out of the way when he was injured with the help of two other weyrlings right before that . Even though i knew my chance at fighting him was slim at best i didn't hesitate to defend and protect my weyrmates. And I would assuredly do the same for any rider in the wing i joined. I'm one of the younger weyrling this is true i believe that only G'eoff is younger then me. But I am old enough to be a full riders. I am brave and willing to step up when it is needed for me to do so. I have watched members of the Pyralis wing and found that I liked what i saw in them and wanted to belong to such a wing. " He replied softly yet honestly speaking from the heart.

J’ldaem of TseravithWeyrleader && Pyralis Wingleader Oh? He certainly betrays his looks does he not Mine? [Why he does indeed, my Love]
The man couldn’t help it, arching his eyebrow faintly as he listened to the young green weyrling respond to his question. For all the nervous body language the lad had around him at least he could answer sincerely and honestly when it mattered, or at least it seemed so.
”Well met, young K’len, a very interesting and fitting reply.” J’ldaem would always give credit where it was due, there was no doubt about that. It was just usually quite hard to earn. ”Second question; Pyralis training regimen is strict and harsh. I expect nothing short of perfection as well as devotion from my wingmembers, especially when doing Threadfall drill practice. I cannot have my subordinates going off and doing as they please without valid reasons after all. Do you believe you and Rhyseth can handle this and more?”
OOC:// Oh gods, sorry for such a long overdue and short reply. @a@;

K'len brushes the hair back behind his ear a nervous gesture to be sure. "I can honestly say that Rhyseth and I can and will meet the challenges we face to the best of both our abilities. I am sure we can handle just about anything thrown at us. And I am really good at following orders just as long as i don't have to lead which is just where i need to be given that Rhyseth is a green. I follow with my heart and if i have a leader that I can believe in and trust with my very life putting all my trust into his hands then i will and gladly. Even Rhyseth understands the needs of working well within the group for our survival and the survival of our wing. Even though she not social as the other dragons. She will fulfill the need and requirements of her wing" He knew Rhyseth lack a lot of the social skills of the other dragons preferring to keep her own council. But he didn't see that as a limitation just that it keep her from more things that would distract her. She always did what she had to do when working with others and performance was the topic not socializing.
