K'len still being the shy nervous type that he is hurried along to get to his interview. He had requested one with Weyrsecond D’seus of Shadow Wing rider of Bronze Zorometh. He hurried off to the records room to meet with the bronzerider. He knew that Rhyseth had already informed Zorometh that he was on his way. He knocked softly at the door so he wouldn't interrupt in case the Bronzerider was with another cause he knew there were a lot of interviews to get done.

Interviews today! [/b] The Bronze reminded his rider who had just finished changing into his riding leathers. Throwing his jacket over his shoulder he headed out the door. The Records Room was not far although much closer for the Queenriders and Weyrleader. He walked in and poured himself a glass of water which had been brought shortly before his arrival by a lovely kitchen drudge. He set one of the chairs a few feet away from but directly across from the one he had chosen for himself. K’len of Green Rhyseth is on his way. Good. He had some questions prepared but then he was usually quite at ease in situations like this one. D’seus knew little about the current Weyrlings but he was ready to find out all about them. He needed to ask questions that would reflect their good and bad qualities in order to place them into the proper wing. At the knocking sound on the door, he said, “Come in K’len and have a seat.” He watched the young man enter. Noting that he was obviously not an outgoing sort, though that would not be an issue considering he was a greenrider. Most wings preferred submissive greenriders who would follow orders. “How are you feeling?” [/blockquote]

K'len entered slowly and carefully. " My duty to you Bronzerider D'seus and Zorometh." He said softly as he went to take his seat. He looked around carefully as he moved to the chair. He did not wanna disturb any of the records that might of been left out. He sat down and looked over at D'seus still feeling a bit nervous inside. He knew that this was sort-of a test to see where he would be best suited and nothing more. He folded his hands in his lap to prevent them from picking at things as he talked he knew he had a few nervous gestures when he got truly nervous and really didn't wanna advertise them.

He smiled nodding as he gave proper greeting. "Alright so, my report from the Weyrling Master is that you are quiet but capable of your duties. Do you have trouble interacting with more flamboyant or outgoing classmates?" Personality was very important. He wouldn't want him to be in a wing where he was uncomfortable. Certain types of people had trouble working with other types. He and some of the other Bronzeriders had trouble working together so it would not come as a shock that other greenriders might irritate the young man before him.
D'seus was trying to go easy on him. K'len's unease could be felt throughout the room. Rhyseth's is nervous in your presence. Do not agitate him too much or Rhyseth too will be agitated. The Bronze warned as D'seus waited for the answer to his question.
It seemed to him so far the boy could really go to any wing and do okay but he still wanted him to have a chance to be really successful which meant being placed in the correct wing. He let his gray eyes fall on the glass of water next to him on the table filled with records. Taking a small sip he listened to the young man's response.

K'len blushed softly and hurried in quickly realizing he forgot to answer a question that the bronzerider asked already so he answered that one first. " I am doing well, Sir." He tried to calm himself knowing he was making Rhyseth nervous as he was. He took a few short breaths before continuing calming himself. " I believe that i can get along with most anyone. I am not very confrontational most of the time i just ignore anything that doesn't involve me unless someone is being hurt then i would try and help if i believed that i could . And it is rare that anyone gets on my nervous unless its a bully". K'len answered as truthfully as he could. He was nice and kind for the most part but he did hate for anyone to take advantage of him. He would after all do anything you wanted as long as you were nice about it. "I'm not a big joiner but sometimes people who are can be quite interesting. Sometimes i need a little push in the right direction to have fun with others. " He ran his fingers threw his hair softly hoping that was the answer to the question he was asked.

D'seus was a patient person...well actually no, that was a lie. He tried to be a patient person. When in fact he always felt he had more things to do than whatever he was doing in the moment. It was not anything to do with K'len. D'seus simply had a great deal on his mind. So he was kind of listening to the youth when he said he was fine. To which the Bronzerider nodded.
"Ahh. So you are a devoted wing member to your clutchmates and take things a bit more seriously than others. Which by the way is not a bad thing." In order to calm K'len's nerves he added the last bit in as he reached for the notes he had been taking on other members of his Weyrling Class. Adding in the persona of the youth, words such as shy, devoted, loyal and serious were put down in no particular order.
Then he moved on to another question entirely. "Have you thought about what your tasks are as a full fledged rider? Do you feel up to completing them in an efficient manner?"

K'len smiled " Oh yes Bronzerider D'seus. I have though long and hard about the duties of being a wingrider. I do feel that both Rhyseth and myself will be up to any task that we are given. We would assuredly do our best at any task assigned to us. Rhyseth has gotten larger then expected so she has a bit more endurance then other greens but still retains the speed and flexibility. And I have gotten real good at reading her state and changes. " K'len calms down more as he speaks about Rhyseth he has no doubt as to her abilities. K'len remembers the holderless attack back when they were new weyrlings. " When push comes to shove. We will rise to meet any challenge big or small that we face. No matter the odds. Of that I can promise you. "

At least the boy had put some thought into, as he said. There was not a Weyrling he knew who wouldn’t say that whether it was true or not. Who wanted to look like they didn’t care about their new duties enough to know what they were and if they were capable of actually doing them? D’seus listened to the youth as he went on about his wonderful green. A true rider always spoke highly of their dragon so it was difficult to say whether it was completely honest information. However it was a very good thing to see a rider so devoted to his dragon.
He had one more question to ask and for most people it was a hard one to answer. He hated to ask questions like these because a lot of them seemed to cause Weyrlings to grow very uneasy because they were unsure of how to answer without offending anyone. “What are your hopes and dreams for your future? Have you set any particular goals for yourself and Rhyseth?”
The things he valued when doing interviews were simple, personality, ability and last but certainly not least, goals. If you don’t know where you want to go, it doesn’t matter how you get there. Certainly, that sort of thinking was not something he wanted in his wingriders. People who knew what they wanted were well on their way to getting it. He hoped the boy had at least one thing he hoped to accomplish besides making it through Weyrlinghood alive.

"My goals to find someone who appreciates me for who i am and what i can do. To find my nitch to be needed and wanted to find a family that i can belong to and grow with. I guess that is kindof silly."K'len admits softly with a blush. " To want to just be accepted. Simplicity really I don't aspire to be more then i am. I don't seek greatness. I don't wish to change Rhyseth if find her perfect just as she is. Rhyseth as a green has limitation I don't wish to push her beyond that which she can do. I wish to keep her safe and well and loved. I don't seek to risk anything that is not necessary. Just To be who we need to be when we need to be that person. "
