An OOC thread about things going or not going on ICly. Remember rumors can be based in fact or be complete conjecture. There is not always truth behind rumors. Most rumors end up being partly false even if based in fact by the time other people hear about them. Also, all stories have two sides to them.
(Feel free to add your own rumors to this thread whenever you wish. Be sure to add the Turn and season in which this rumor is going around)
Turn 1261-Season Summer (South)
Vaylee: I saw it with my own eyes.
NPC 1 : Then it must be true.
NPC 2: I just don't see him being interested in men...
Vaylee: Has that ever stopped a dragonrider before?
NPC 2: Yeah but J'zen?
NPC 1: Well he has started to spend inordinate amounts of time with N'var too. Maybe he does like male greenriders.
NPC 2: I don't know. It doesn't seem to fit.
Vaylee: You are being quite defensive. Someone have a crush on the bluerider?

NPC Weyrling: Did you hear about what happened at the Feast?
NPC Drudge: You know I was working. Tell me!
NPC Weyrling: D'seus' son, H'nuk and his friends insulted the new Queenrider. They were given quite the talk from Sakorai.
NPC Drudge: Figures D'seus' son would already be making an impression. H'nuk's reputation is not going to help him along at all. From what I've heard the boy and his friends are trouble.
NPC Weyrling: Yeah, I'm steering clear of them. I'm not getting held back because of some silly children.

Drudge: She has no idea how lucky she is. He didn't take his eyes off of her all night except to check with his son. If I could find someone like that...
Vaylee: How long do you think that is gonna last? Like many a womanizer before him, he'll get bored and then you'll have your chance. I would feel sorry for her except she has everything she could want being a Goldrider.
Drudge: The way I hear it, you'll get a chance before me.
Vaylee: What is that supposed to mean?
Drudge: Come off your high runner. You know exactly what I mean. You keep sleeping with these Bronzeriders, who by the way don't care one whit about you, and eventually you'll end up with him too.

Guard 1: For the last time there is no rule saying two Sheild members can't have a sexual relationship.
Guard 2: But their partners...
Guard 1: So long as they can kill ten Holdless to our one then I don't give a damn.
Guard 2: What if it affects their work together?
Guard 1: You are not getting anywhere with this. If they want to have a relationship who are you to tell them no? Hmm?
Guard 2: I know, I know. Doesn't it bother you a little?
Guard 1: No, but you are. How do you know they are even in a relationship? You don't. I say drop the matter before I take it in my head to hit you on the head with the hilt of my sword.
