Appearance:
Standing at about 5’5”, her frame is thin and toned but slightly boyish figure because she hasn’t developed into true womanly curves just yet. Her bust and hips are small, but in pleasant proportion to the rest of her.
Kaeul’s eyes and hair are both dark brown to black. Her voice is a cutesy mezzo soprano that is usually soft and never raised to a yell.
Tans pretty easily in too much sun and has no freckling. Prefers to be pale. Skin is beautifully, evenly complected with lovely peaches and cream undertones.
Will wear pants or skirts/ dresses..doesn’t really care one way or the other. But usually her brothers buy her clothes; She likes their attention and enjoys being able to wear pretty things they like to see her in. Typically, the things they find for her are in jade, pink or red and embellished with feminine frills. She tries not to keep a lot of clothes though -but somehow they tend to pile up. Typically, Kaeul keeps her physical appearance nice, but is not vain about her looks.
She does not wear any weapons but for a typical all-purpose belt knife. Sometimes scissors or needles are amoungst the tools she carries, but she doesn’t view those as weapons.
Personality:
Definitely not a tomboy, but she doesn’t mind getting dirty or rough-housing a little with her brothers. She is goofy and fun loving too, especially around her brothers -who act different around her, too. She tends to put on a “cute” face, a lot and uses a lot of ‘cute’ mannerisms in her expression and hand gestures or posture. She is kind and soft spoken and usually talks to the dragons she tends to as if they were human. It makes her feel exceptional when they talk back to her. She’s rather shy...but not opposed to parties/ gathers/ etc and can be social at some times more than others. Optimist. Not opposed to a little drama, but not the type to create it. Acts lady-like, especially now that she’s living someplace as nice as the Weyr and gives herself higher expectations.
Hobbies/Skills:
Being outside and teasing her brothers. More often than not, finds herself following her two older brothers around. Her mother used to tell her that she could use her ‘little sister’ charms to keep the boys out of too much trouble, but half the time, she played part in the trouble, too. Whatever the case, she is a kind and loving soul and only wants to help them in whatever they do.. keeps her life exciting that way, with these two! Maybe there's a part of her that hasn't fully matured enough to realize her own passions beyond that.
In the Weyr, much of her free time is spent volunteering to help with tasks in the infirmary or in the kitchens making treats to serve to those in need of a little cheer.

History:
Kuchki and Iniel are Traders & Caravan Masters whose family for generations, have been running goods and people between the cotholds and weyrs of the South. They carry goods and people as a service because they are both familiar with the roads, and familiar with the dangers. Men in the family are prized, always encouraged to remain in the family business. Males of the family typically work as “load-pullers” who handle individual waggons, carts and their respective goods and drey-beasts -someitmes a man may take on the responsibility of several waggons. Periodically girls in the family are married off to cotholds because their role has not been as significant and travel makes pregnancies difficult. Though they don’t resent dragonriders when search takes away from their group, each loss is felt severely because of each person’s important role.
Kuchki's family was invited by the cotholder Manre several times to live with them over the winter months at Halistat, when travel becomes more difficult and work slowed for them. In order to keep themselves from growing idle, it was during these times that men and boys of both families trained together, the adults collaborated in business for the following turn, and the youngest of them played. Both families have remained highly loyal to each-other's interests for mutual benefit.
For the family’s business, Kaeul fulfilled many roles expected of the women. She learned to cook, tend to injuries of both humans and animals, make some types of medicines, and mend clothes. After J’ngi was taken by Search to Refuge Weyr and they’d gotten word that T’shiro was also there, Kaeul began to feel as though her family was being split in two. She felt as though she could do nothing but bear it however, when word reached them that the Holdless had attacked Refuge Weyr and that dragons and their riders had died because of the attacks, Kaeul began to foster a brand new determination.
She could not be happy with the fact that dragonriders faced so many dangers for the sake of Pern and she could not be there to help them. She knew she would never be a dragonrider, but for the sake of her mother’s worrisome heart, for the sake of her brothers who risked their lives every day, she would do everything possible to support them. Her apprenticeship in dragon healing became a means by which to serve her brothers by ensuring their well being. If they were going to go out fighting thread, and now had to fight holdless, someone would need to be there to look after them, just as they looked after the safety of so many others.
Kaeul arrived at the weyr to begin her apprenticeship shortly after the attack of the holdless.
