Character Info:
Name: B'hari (formerly Bahari)
Nickname Silvertongue/ Mother Hen
Age: Thirteen
Gender: Male
Rank: Weyrling and former member of the Brat Pack
Immediate Family:
Father - Gorad (Married/Drudge) 46
Mother - Mariel (Married/Cook) 39
Brother - Osumel (Betrothed/Holder) 19
Extended Family:
Sister-in-Law - Kalai (Married/Holder) 17
Appearance:
Milky white skin with a thin dusting of freckles, Bahari looks like a regular charmer. He is often described as having a face of unparalleled innocence. With slightly chubby cheeks that haven't quite lost their baby fat, Bahari resembles a cherub and shamelessly uses this to his advantage during pranks or diversions. Adults tend to have a hard time believing he is up to no good when his quick tongue and watery eyes are used in sync.
Bahari's eyes are a nice hazel that blends a dark brown and a light green into a pleasant shade that changes with the lighting. His eyes in the sun almost resemble the same shade of his hair. A mop of mousy brown hair flounces and bounces atop his ever moving head, but no matter how much he musses it with a frustrated hand or darting movement, the hair always manages to fall perfectly back into place with nary a stray hair.
Personality:
Bahari is something of a mother hen. He feels a fierce need to protect and care for his friends from themselves even at the expense of their approval. It is not easy to earn Bahari over on a scheme, but he often ends up participating just so he can keep an eye out for and on them. Afterwords he has a bad habit of lecturing them on everything they did wrong. It is not the lack morals that bother Bahari for he has none of his own. Rather it is the promise of repercussion that keeps him in line. If at any moment he thinks they can get away with something, he is all for it.
Because Bahari possesses a deep love of manipulation and just the right amount of slyness to pull it off, there seems to be an almost clinical way of thinking about people he had no deep seated feelings for. There is little Bahari would not do to get his way, but sometimes he can get impatient or cross with someone he considers 'dumb' in the arts of ambition.
While his personality can be trying at the best of times due to his apathy and cruel seeming nature, Bahari has an unnatural ability to make people like him and put up with him long after they would have stopped with anyone else. There is this strange likable quality about him that he is well aware of and takes advantage of shamelessly. He is also quite the flirt, even at his young age.
Hobbies/Skills:
- Talking his way out of anything
- Twisting words to suit his own agenda
- Lying
- Nagging his friends when he thinks their going to far
- Nagging his friends when their not going very far at all
- Charming adults into getting his way
Pets:
Name: Look-See
Bonded To: Bahari
Color: Bronze
Age: Newly Hatched
Egg: Broken Mirror
Description: The coloring on the Broken Mirror flitter isn’t smooth and blended like most flitter’s, but sharp jagged patches. His overall hide is a rich bronze, darker then normal but still clearly bronze. Slivers of different hues cover his hide, his under sides have a more golden tint to them while his back is more copper hued. In the light, it’s the slivers that shine more brightly then the rest of his hide.
A large bulky bronze, he's the biggest flitter of his clutch. His body is almost perfectly proportional for his size though so he's not a clumsy flyer.
Personality: Even since hatching, the Mirror flitter has been a twitchy and jumpy little thing. He’s not scared of everything, he’s just easily surprised by it all. A loud sound will make him flap around a bit before he goes to check it out. He’s always moving around, his head trying to look at everything at once. He acts like a young child who’s had a little too much klah.
History:
Bahari comes from a remarkably small family of only four and is often embarrassed by the fact that his friends tend to have more siblings than him. Having more is always a good thing, so having a small family has always seemed to make his family less valuable in his eyes. Bahari loves his family, he just wishes he had more. That wish is what motivated Bahari to become so likable that veryone would be so enamored with him that wouldn't care about his small family, even though they really didn't in the first place.
Although Bahari made friends easily, he rarely cared enough to try. Most people weren't up to par by his standards. He felt no desire to make mud pies or see who could get the closest to a dragon without it noticing. All those games seemed boorish and distasteful. Bahari wanted a challenge, and that challenge came in the form of the Brat Pack.
Bahari's first run in with the small gang was during its early stages, before they had worked out all the kinks of coordinated teamwork. The five of them were cornered and bickering amongst themselves when Bahari chanced upon them. Rolling his eyes, Bahari put on his best smile and turned to meet their soon to be captor. Charming the old cook proved simple enough, and Bahari watched the group of hooligans scurry away with nary a thanks tossed in his direction.
That just wouldn't do. Deciding to seek them out, Bahari was swiftly able to follow the gossip chain and shift through chatter sufficiently that finding the ungrateful misfits was almost deplorably easy. demanding a part in their group, Bahari offered his services as intelligence gatherer and adult soothsayer. However, the team also got a nagging mother hen that managed t talk them out of more than one harebrained scheme, something they often brought up.

Dragon Info:
Name: Maximuth (Max-ee-mewth)
Color: Bronze
Age: newly Hatched
Description:
Maximuth is a lean muscled dragon that moves with a sense of power and purpose. Although he is not the largest of Bronzes, there is something about the way he holds himself that can appear challenging to an on-looker. The way he stands also allows one to notice that Maximuth is longer from nose to tail tip than he is tall.
The oddest thing about Maximuth is perhaps his coloration. The dragon is undeniably Bronze, but he has a sort of rustic Gold appearance that makes him look as if he was carved from gold that had tarnished and darkened over a great period of time. This golden hue makes him undesirable to some, but his rider finds no fault in his coloring.
Personality:
Maximuth is a Bronze who prides himself on his ability to act the way he sees as true and just. He is a proud beast who feels the need to protect the weak and struggling. Maximuth would never allow a person to be mistreated in his presence, and this trait often causes him to act rashly and without thought. When it comes to his friends and comrades, Maximuth can be protective to the point of stifling, but he means no harm. This is a Bronze who thinks with his heart and not his head.
History:"The Gladiator Egg began to quiver, and shake. The egg was easily the largest of the group, second only to the gold egg.
With force the egg exploded, littering the dark Sands with colorful pieces of shell. Standing in the midst of the shattered shell was a bright, sandy bronze, almost gold in tint. The Stands exploded in cheers, whooping, and clapping! The first hatchling was a bronze dragonet! The best omen a Hatching could ask for was that a bronze hatch first. For Turns people had foretold how a bronze hatching first heralded a good omen for the Weyr.
The sandy bronze surveyed the anxious male Candidates. Stepping forward onto the Sands, the creature moved confidently, his head held high. Female Candidates scattered, not wanting to get in the dragonet's way.
Moving to Hinuk, the dragonet took his snout and gave his head a toss, knocking the boy off of his feet and revealing Bahari who had been standing behind the other Candidate.
There you are. I couldn't see you.... You are rather small. I am Maximuth. Come now, B'hari. I'm hungry and Kavanth, the Assistant Weyrlingmaster's blue dragon, says that there is food outside."
