T'mar and Petroth were relaxing after a long day of transporting people up and down the Weyrs. They were getting good at it but today they were very tired. Tomorrow was a rest day and T'mar planned on using it to go for a quick jump between for a picnic and maybe a quick swim on a secluded beach that they had found. There would be no worry about homeless there, and Pet would like a bath and oiling. Maybe he could get G'off to go with him.
I would like that very much Tmarmine, I miss spending free time with my twin. Petroth turned and nuzzled his rider gently in his chest.
T'mar wrapped his arm around the blue muzzle and gently stroked up and down between Pets eyes in a calming jester. Lets get up to the Weyr and get things ready for tomorrow. I want to check out your straps too tonight. He told the tired blue as he climbed back aboard for the short hop up to their Weyr.
Once on the ledge he took the riding straps off and took them down to his bunk so he could look at them better. He needed to eat but he wanted to see the sun set with Petroth first. Grabbing the chair he had set out of the way on the ledge, he started to pull it closer to Petroth then changed his mind. Instead he sat on the dark blues curled front leg and leaned against his chest instead.
Petroth gave a big sigh then decided to speak to Danuth quietly where his rider couldn't hear. Danuth, we are going to that secluded beach where it is safe tomorrow for a picnic and a bath, MINE is hoping you and YOURS would want to come too, and anyone else from our clutch that wants to come too. Maybe YOURS can bring something to eat and drink too.

R'kin was exhausted from having to clean his bronze that seemed to be getting bigger everyday and the usual lessons. He was on his way back the barracks when he looked up to catch a glimpse of T'mar. The bronze weyrling smiled at the glimpse of his friend and yelled up, "Hey, T'mar," as he stopped to wipe the sweat from his brow. His clothes of the days we're dirty rags with a brown shirt and brown pants a far cry from his usual tailored look. The clothes we're kept for just such occasions as when he had to clean Krestanovith. It was just at that moment that the bronze dragon decided to show himself and he flow to stand next to his. "Hello, Petroth and T'mar," said Krestanovith as he looked at the blue dragon and his rider. He was different from other bronze dragons in that he didn't think to high of himself. The young bronze preferred not to take control of most situations unless he had to and this often lead to him to letting others take lead. Krestanovith head butted his rider as he gleamed in the sunlight his massive size showing and it was evident that his maturity was almost complete. He was looking forward to when Elynth rose because he'd chase her. "What are you doing," asked R'kin as he looked at the pair and was just making conversation with his clutch mate? He was happy that the they'd soon be graduating and that a new clutch had been hatched to take their place. The group of them would soon graduate and be put in a wing where their real lives would begin. R'kin looked forward to their new weyr because their present living quarters we're getting too small for them.

Greetings Krestanovith, we are going for a picnic and a warm swim and some sun where its safe. Do you and yours wish to join us? Petroth asked his bronze friend hoping that they would come. It was always a pleasure to be in the bronzes non uppity attitude.
"R'kin!" T'mar called waving at his friend. "We are tired and looking forward to going somewhere warm, sunny and safe. Wanna join us?" T'mar asked hoping the young rider would be interested. He liked the bronze rider some day not to long from now responcibilities would take them all in slightly different directions. For now T'mar was busy enough and looking forward to his rest day.

Krestanovith looked at the blue as he spoke then answered, "Yes, a picnic would be nice,". He head butted R'kin in order to get his to scratch the spot on his eye and it worked. The bronze weyrling turned around to scratch his dragon's eye ridge and turned to T'mar as he spoke. "Yes, that would be great to get away with everything going on with the hatching," said R'kin. He was ready for a break as everyone wanted them to help with the hatching feast and he just sighed. "You know getting out of some work would be great," said R'kin as he smiled at his friend. The truth be told there group was a interesting on as they we're more laid back and not in a hierarchy.
He thought that was because of their sire and dam of their clutch that we're laid back themselves. R'kin had a feeling that the current clutch would not be like them and would be more angry in nature. The young bronze pair just stared up at their friends then asked, "What time do you want to meet," as he had to go get some food? It wouldn't be hard to sneak away with everyone concentrating on the hatching feast and the new dragnets. His group was the last thing on everyone's minds as they we're set to graduate. R'kin and a feeling that until their graduation ceremony not much attention would be paid attention to them. A few of the drudges had even said that if there had been no metallics in their clutch then they wouldn't have mattered. It was only because of gold Elynth that their clutch was even given any attention to begin with by others.

"Whenever we can manage to get ready? I want to snatch some of those special things that are only fixed for hatching. Is that good for you?" T'mar asked. This was going to be fun, and if how R'kin looked was any indication on how he looked, they needed the break and badly.
Let's get them moving then, I really could use a rest and some fun. Petroth spoke to his bronze friend. He needed a rest but not as badly as his rider did. He was worried about T'mar overdoing it.

The blue dragon was enjoying his time, chatting bordering on flirting with a couple of greens. It was a rare day when the blue was not surrounded by other dragons. Unlike his rider, he had no trouble making friends. G’off was often placed in a difficult position because of Danuth’s exuberance and love for life. When Petroth contacted the blue, G’off heard as well but they had all decided to treat this relationship carefully. G’off would wait for Danuth to relay the information to him as if he could not hear Petroth.
Danuth took only a moment to bespeak his rider. The answer followed almost as quickly. We will come. When are we heading out? The only question he had was about when. He knew what beach they meant. So did G’off. One thing that would be easy for him was getting food and stealing some wine skins. He had been a thief for a long time before coming to the Weyr. Bad habits died hard.
Danuth came to the Barracks to meet up with his twin, while G’off went to get some provisions. Hello Petroth! The blue then turned his attention to the Bronze Weyrling. Greetings Krestanovith. Are you coming too? The blue dragon was excited. He enjoyed time with other dragons and perhaps that was for the best since he had a twin. Meanwhile, G’off snuck into the wine cellar and got a few skins of wine. Heading out the back entrance to the kitchens he escaped much notice. He was a small young man, with non-descript brown hair. Luckily it was very easy for him to go unnoticed throughout the Weyr.
He had a bag now packed with wine and various food stuffs. The bread rolls were fresh even. He was quite proud of the food and wine he had snuck out with. When he arrived where T’mar and R’kin were standing he said, “This everyone? I think I’ve got everything we need as far as food.” He paused looking to see if maybe there were other Weyrlings around here somewhere. “We should invite some girls…” He added, thinking they would make the whole thing more fun for Danuth. Green dragons were his favorite. Maybe Bealveth will come?“Oh and we’ll need towels!”

"The invite is open for everyone. Anyone special you two would like to come with us? If so then maybe the boys can call whom they want?" T'mar suggested. "Looks like you made quite a haul G'off. Wine skins too? Maybe I should get some glasses and a few other things when I go down to the kitchens.?"
He was starting to get excited, it was going to be a fun day after all. He always enjoyed time with G'off. He didn't care that no one else understood their friendship past their twin dragons. He himself didn't think anything special or different was with them speaking so both dragon and rider could hear. It was normal for them to be this way. He did suppose that it might be a bit eerie for the older riders to comprehend. Oh well. He liked it.
"I'll be back shortly, I'm heading down to get a few things." T'mar told them. Petroth wanted to stay with Danuth and Krestanovith so T'mar headed off at a fast jog. Once he got to the kitchens, he found his favorite cook and asked for a basket of things to take for a picnic. He was sat down on a stool out of the way and handed a bubblie pie while the cook and a drudge set to filling a basket for him. T'mar had chopped wood several times for the kitchens and was a favorite among some of the kitchen staff. It helped for special things like this.
When they were done he found he had 2 baskets to take with him and they were loaded to the brim. Smiling at the drudge he gave the cook a big hug. "Thank you so very much. We sure won't go hungry." He gathered up his baskets and went out through the Dinning Cavern where he stopped for a few glasses to add to the basket, just in case there were more that wanted to go with them. By the time he got back to the Weyrlingbarracks his arms felt like they were going to fall off. Thank goodness for all the practice throwing the firestone sacks.
Entering the Barracks with his goodies, he looked at the fellas with a sheepish grin as he put down the loaded baskets. "Its good to be a favorite in the kitchens."
