Blue Firelizard Antics (open)

M'nor came into the lower caverns looking around for his blue fire lizard Veint who had been missing since early morning. He had to wonder where the normal lazy fire lizard had run off to. His green dragon was asleep back at the weyr and didn't pay any attention to the missing lizard. When he started to walk around the lower caverns as this where Veint might be found with all the extra food crumbles. "Veint where are you," whispered M'nor as he looked under a table and nearly bumped his head when a girl went by saying his name? He just blushed at her then continued to look for his missing lizard when he saw a crowd of people.

He walked over to see some people mumbling and crying as the crowd moved to reveal a blue fire lizard laying on table. "No," cried M'nor as he rushed to his fire lizard's side and held the small fire lizard in his hand. When he asked, "How it happened," then his fire lizard moved and sat up just to squeak sending back feelings of laughter to his owner? "Veint," screamed M'nor as he got angry all of a sudden then the fire lizard took off with M'nor chasing after him. He tried to catch up running up and down between the benches till he tripped over a chair where he fell face first into the ground. The fire lizard landed nearby sending feelings of laughter back at his owner and M'nor propped himself up then said, "I guess you think this is funny,".

"No, more treats," said M'nor as he grinned his fire lizard knowing that would get the blue's attention and sure enough the little lizard went over to land on his shoulder. "That's better," said M'nor as he patted the little fire lizard who curled up on his shoulder and shut his eyes. "Going back to you lazy routine," said M'nor as he smiled at his pet and got ready to go get something to eat since he was already down here.

Marlaey was wandering around the lower caverns, yawning slightly to herself. She'd been missing in action pretty mush since the new queen' flight. Very embarrassing really, but she'd gotten herself food poisoning once she'd returned to the weyr and was unable to partake in normal weyrwoman activities. She hoped she hadn't missed too much, though Elynth had kindly kept her posted on the more important events.

She was just glad to out of her room for now and taking the opportunity to meander about, but maybe some food would be nice soon?

A crowd of people appeared to be distracted from their chores nearby and Marlaey's curiosity was peaked. But as she made her way over, a blue fire lizard darted from the group, followed by a man and leading to a lengthy chase until at last the blue was coaxed back to the man's shoulder with the threat of no more treats. Marlaey grinned. What would happen if he threatened Elynth with that?

Don't even think about it.

Walking over to the man, Marlaey smiled. "Hi there, trouble with that little guy?" she asked, beaming at the cute blue.

M'nor smiled at the blue dragon and heard a young woman's voice. He turned to see the gold rider Marley and said, "My, gold rider," as he bowed his head to her. The brown rider had not had much interaction with the newest generation of weyrlings and had only meet her in passing. "His quite the little show off," said M'nor as he patted the blue fire lizard who had already fallen asleep. "It's his favorite trick I think to fake dead and then come out of it with a big dramatic finish," said M'nor as he laughed at the little blue lizard.

The brown rider had never thought he would have been one to have one. He had a lot of changes this turn with the announcement of becoming a father and getting a fire lizard. "Join me for something to eat," asked M'nor as he was one to show manners especially to the future weyrwoman? The group of weyrlings would graduate next turn and then there would three weyrwoman at the weyr. His brown fire lizard sent thoughts to him about the gold dragon and it made M'nor smile. It was no doubt that his brown dragon would go after her and would most likely not win because he lacked the stamina to keep with the bronzes.
