Friily slipped out of the Candidate Barracks on silent feet, her mind whirling with the chaos of the last many hours. She shook her head, trying to clear it, and closed her eyes tightly. A deep breath of the night air went far to helping ease her nerves, and she reopened her eyes again. Everything was dark and dim in the Bowl, with glows here and there in case someone needed to go somewhere, but not nearly as many as earlier when night first fell. Her eyes wandered up to the sky, almost startled to find that same stars there that she had looked up at back on the hold. It had seemed like she had gone to an entirely different world since yesterday, and the sight brought her down to earth a little more, just a half twinge of homesickness the only negative. I forgot to go speak with the Candidate Master earlier. I'll just go do that, and maybe I can actually sleep tonight. With a soft smile, she spun on her heel and headed for the Candidate Master's office. She knocked lightly on the door, and then realized how late it was. Was she going to get in trouble for being out her this late? Surely not. Should she just turn around and head back to bed, now, before the door opened?
