Aisynn was hungry and in a hurry, she was wet, tired and over all grumpy. It had been a hard day at drills and both herself and her pretty Shivath were wore out and sore. She needed food and some hot Klah and not necessarily in that order. Because she was in such a hurry she wasn't paying attention when she rounded a corner and ran smack dab into a tall hard object that didn't move, instead she ended up on her butt smack in the middle of the hallway.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run into you, I wasn't watching where I was going. " She said turning a pretty shade of pink as she looked up into one of the most handsomest faces she had ever seen. Tall, dark and handsome. Her eyes told her as she looked him up and down. Oh my goodness a brown rider to boot, his knots on his shoulder told her at least that much.
The sound of her lifemate laughing at her plight didn't help her any. Her face went even redder if possible when she finally looked into his eyes.

F'ren wouldn't have even noticed that someone had run into him if the girl hadn't spoke. It wasn't that he was ignoring the girl, or that he normally wouldn't notice that someone had run headlong into him, but at the moment the greenrider collided with him Aloroth had informed him that the golden queen Issarith was rising.
Relax, rider, Aloroth had told F'ren in an amused tone, This is not a flight for a brown. I'd rather keep myself in one piece. The brown spoke of the volatile nature of the Queen and her pursuers.
Shaking off his dragon's explanation, F'ren turned his eyes down onto the woman that was still sprawled on the ground, "My apologies," he said hastily, after he realized that he hadn't made a move to even catch her.
"My reflexes are normally better than that." F'ren grinned a little as he reached down to help the greenrider to her feet.

Accepting the offered hand, Aisynn felt better being on her feet. "It's ok, it was more my fault." she answered but before she could say more her dragon interrupted her thoughts.
Aisynnmine, Issarith rises. I'm thinking the man is lost in that thought Really?[/b] She answered, secretly wondering when her beautiful one would be ready. It could also explain the glassy eyed look the rider had when she first spoke to him. He was probably talking to his dragon.
"Hi, I'm Aisynn rider of Green Shivath. Thank you for the help up" she finished still looking at him and waiting for his name. "I'm on my way for lunch and some Klah, you?" she asked.

Issarith hadn't left the ground yet so F'ren knew that bronzeriders and brownriders would be scrambling to get to the queen's rider at that moment. When Issarith actually started the flight the Weyr would be washed in flight lust. Aloroth, however, instead of hurrying to the heights of the Weyr to await the Queen's ascension, was lounging on his weyrledge, lazily flicking his tail from side to side.
Focus, rider. You're being spoken to. Aloroth gave his rider a mental nudge, effectively breaking F'ren, once again, from his reverie.
"Oh, I'm F'ren and my brown is Aloroth," F'ren remembered his manners, "and now that you've mentioned klah I think I'll come with you to the Dining Cavern for some myself. Maybe it'll help me focus." He laughed a little, even as his brain registered minute things about Aisynn's appearance, such as the shine of her hair, and the smooth complexion of her skin. Skin that looked like it should be touched.... Whoa... The faster I get some klah, strong klah, the better.

Aisynn watched the rider tune in then out then back in again. The range of emotions that played across his handsome features was festinating to watch. She wondered if it was the Gold Flight kept drawing his attention away.
Aisynn wasn’t used to being ignored. Men usually tried to get her in their Weyrs. She didn’t focus much on the regular Weyrstaff; come to think of it she didn’t spend her time associating with many people any time except her wingmates and clutchmates. So this was a new thing to experience.
It was interesting to her how it effected her outlook on things. She hated being manipulated into corners she had to almost fight to get out of by lusty men. Why did everyone think that just cause she was the rider of a green they automatically thought she was one to run wild with every man she came in contact with. And now, here she was with a handsome brown rider, and he wasn't interested in even talking to her. This was something she would have to reflect on later. Right now, Klah, food and a warm bath and dry clothes sounded heavenly.
Aisynnmine, why does Aloroth’ being distracted by the Queen Flight matter so much to you? [/b] Shivath asked with a sound of humor in her voice. She was rather enjoying this new experience for her rider.
Ohhhhhh, that explains it. His dragon is brown after all. I wonder why they aren’t participating in the flight? [/I] Aisynn asked.
Maybe because it’s for Weyrleadership and he didn‘t wish to be interfering? Issarith is after all the senior Queen. I like Aloroth Aisynnmine. He is very handsome. For one so smart Aisynnmine, you can be so …..Issarith flies [/b] Came the amused reply and the sound of a angry Queen taking to the air.
Choosing to ignore the part of Shivath’s comment about her being so…, Aisynn moved to walk with F’ren for that cup of Klah. “Sounds good to me too, I think I’ll grab a quick bite to eat while we are there. Then I'll worry about getting out of my wet things into that warm bath. You chose to stay out of Issariths flight, why?” she asked. Watching the riders face through the corner of her eye as the smallest Queen took to the skies with an almost vicious sounding challenge.
As they walked she saw several other riders she knew all with that same strange look on their faces. Sense Shivath hadn’t yet risen, and she too was untouched, this was a whole new set of things to learn. She stopped to listen as a rush of wings took to the sky to give chase. Someday they will be chasing her that way.
I will rise when we are ready Aisynnmine. Are you upset because I haven’t risen yet? [/b] Shivath asked with a hurt sound to her voice.
Oh my goodness noooo, I am not upset at all my beautiful Shivath. I was just thinking that you are old enough, and many from your clutch have risen already. I am sure you will go when it’s your time to. Perhaps handsome Aloroth will give chase, hmmmm? [/I] She couldn’t help teasing the green.
Aisynn still had the room brightening grin on her face when she turned to look back up at F’ren to see how he was taking the announcement of Issarith taking to the skies. As innocent as she was in everything intimate she liked the handsome brownrider.

When Issarith took to the skies F'ren felt like the bottom of his stomach dropped out and landed somewhere near his feet. For such a small queen Issarith broadcasted an astounding amount of anger and lust over the Weyr. F'ren was no young pup, he'd been through several flights in his Turns at the Weyr, so he was surprised that this one affected in him such a way.
As if from a distance F'ren heard Aisynn's question, "Well, I never really get to decide which mating flights I participate in, that's always up to Aloroth's discretion. When I asked him why he didn't want to participate in this flight he told me that it was a flight he knew he wouldn't win and with the queen having such a volatile reputation he didn't want to risk injury."
It's a good thing I decided that, one of the blues nearly had his wing ripped off by a bronze dragon. I would never deem to harm another dragon in such a way, not even for a Queen. Aloroth snorted.
Turning in to the Dining Cavern, F'ren wasn't surprised to see that it was relatively empty. When flights took place, especially a queen flight, most people found themselves locked away in a private place with their lover. Just the thought of that had F'ren's pulse quickening again and he found himself glancing sideways at Aisynn. Maybe coming here with a lovely greenrider wasn't such a good idea. He thought to himself.

When they entered the large dining cavern, Aisynn was surprised to see it almost empty. She noticed F'ren becoming uncomfortable again and wondered what it could be. The mental laughter from her dragon and the image she sent her rider made Aisynn blush. Her face turned beet red when the image of mating dragons hit her. What surprised her even more was how much it effected her. It hadn't done that before. But then again her dragon hadn't risen yet either. Oh my what a feeling it was strange and interesting and frightening all in one.
She looked at F'ren in a different light. She had no idea that her eyes had changed at how they looked at him, or that her body language and changed too. It was beginning to be something she was wondering would be a good idea or would it hurt her dragon if she went with her feelings. Another mental laughter turned her even redder at the thought.
Grabbing a tray to distract her from her thoughts, she put snacky things on it and grabbed a small pitchure of Klah with two cups before trying to head to a table. She was shaking so bad she hoped she made it without dropping the whole mess.

F'ren noticed the way Aisynn looked at him but he tried to tell himself it was nothing. Although, truthfully, the brownrider didn't know why he was trying to ignore what his body was telling him. Obviously he found the greenrider attractive, shells, he found her attractive even outside of the mating flight lust. With the effect of the gold flight lust added on top of it, however, F'ren had a hard time keeping his mind out of the gutter.
Following Aisynn's example, F'ren grabbed snack foods as well and a good strong cup of klahl, "I'll go grab us a table." He assured her before turning and retreating to a secluded table- which wasn't hard since the dining cavern was nearly empty due to the mating flight.
Why don't you just mate with Shivath's rider? It would take away the tension and make you feel better. You're good looking, I'm sure she wouldn't mind.
Normally F'ren would have told Aloroth to butt out but in his lust-induced state the dragon's words made sense.... Shaking his head, F'ren tried to focus on the plate of food in front of him and the strong cup of klah that was sending up little swirly, wafts of steam.

Aisynn watched the play of emotions that crossed the brownriders face. Including the tell tell sign of his speaking with his dragon. Smiling politely she decided to ask a question. "Why are you two staying out of the flight?" She made herself busy with a sweet roll as she waited for his answer.
The broadcasted feelings of ardor that swept across the Weyr were washing over herself too, she had no idea that's what it was all she knew was there was a growing sensation she didn't understand building within her the longer the flight went on. This rider in front of her held her attention, his looks, his build the way he moved facinated her. She couldn't help but watch him. Her innocense in such things lost in the moment. She had no idea she was flirting or that her body language could be interrupted as a welcome sign to the brownrider. Her green Shivath decided to speak to the brown Aloroth on her young riders behalf.
Aloroth, MINE has never been in a situation like this. I think it would be a good thing to mate with your rider so she will be better prepared for when I rise soon. I do not wish YOURS to hurt or scare her on her first time. This last part was said quietly between the dragons. She didn't want to ruin this for her rider, she just wanted Aloroth's to be gentle, before, during and definatly after. Perhaps anyplace besides the riders weyrs would be good, some place quiet and out of the way of prying eyes. Tomorrow would take care of itself.

Aloroth didn't even have a chance to relay to his rider some of what Shivath had said. The brownrider was quickly taking things into his own hands as he pushed away the plate in front of him, his eyes locking with Aisynn's, "Would you like to go back to my weyr?" He asked. It wasn't the smoothest line ever, but in this situation F'ren didn't really feel that any further explanation was necessary. It was obvious that they were both attracted to each other, with or without the mating flight, but at least the gold flight was a great way to loosen inhibitions and take away some of the shyness that would normally be there.
Aloroth was rather amused at his rider, mostly because F'ren wasn't the type to move too quickly when it came to women, Do not worry, Shivath, your rider will be safe with mine. The brown was certain of that.

Aisynn jumped when F'ren pushed him self away from the table so abruptly. She stared at him a moment before realization dawned on her, he wanted her to go to his Weyr. Was this a good idea? What about Shivath, would this hurt her any? She had never even kissed a boy. But oh she sure wanted to.
Go you silly goose, I will stay with Aloroth. He tells me that you will be fine with his. I think this would be good for you, us even. Then when I rise you will not be so scared.[/color]
"I, I..I've never.. umm I don't..know how" she finally stammered turning bright red. "But, yes, I would like to go with you. If you don't mind one that is so dumb in the matter of coupling." she finished stammering. She waited to hear what he had to say now that he knew she was inexperienced.

F'ren actually smiled a little. A virgin in the Weyr was quite rare, F'ren himself had certainly never encountered one. Sexuality and morals being as loose as they were, most people Aisynn's age already had a full understanding of sex. The naivety that Aisynn showed was refreshing, and perhaps under the mating flight lust, it was even more endearing than it would have been otherwise. Now F'ren was going to have to try and restrain himself since Aisynn was so inexperienced. Still, looking into the woman's sweet face, F'ren thought it was probably worth it. "Don't worry Aisynn," he took one of her hand in his, threading their fingers together, "I'll take care of everything. Trust me." With a smile the bronzerider tugged the woman to her feet and led her away.... OOC: End?
