((Anyone with a mature dragon can join them at the beach for some good times))
The Weyr was getting a bit too tense for him as the Golds both got closer to rising. Of all the Bronzes it was only his that seemed indifferent to the fact that the Golds were getting all shiny. Now that Or'yn was better they had been concentrating on learning things (oh Faranth why?) from A'lez about Wings and what their duties would be when and if they became Wingseconds. For about a moment he didn't take the Weyrleader at all seriously and then realized he was as stone faced as ever.
As a Weyrbrat he avoided chores as much as possible, as a Candidate he pawned those chores off on other people, as a Weyrling, well there were always people willing to do things for him in exchange for helping bathe his Bronze but now as an adult rider there was much more expected of him than he was ready to accept. He willingly admitted he had a lazy streak which infuriated his dragon to no end. Or'yn wanted to be young and have fun forever but knew, somewhere in the back of his mind that this was not going to last as long as forever. So he made a decision to pass the word along to other riders who felt the same that they should have a bit of a party just to have some fun and relax and to forget about all the things that people expected.
Or'yn did not take long in inviting the first two people who sprung to mind. The first being his sister, who despite being two Turns older was one of his best friends. The other being Marlaey who he generally enjoyed being around and would enjoy a break at the Beach. Is Marlaey coming with us? The young ones have not learned to fly yet.The Bronze asked his rider who was busy packing up food and beverages onto the side packs that were generally used for firestone. Or'yn even packed a couple of blankets. The others are going to bring along things too. Will it be too heavy if we bring Marlaey.
The youth was wearing his leathers but he had brought casual wear too. He didn't want to spend his day at the beach wearing leathers. Who will be keeping young Elynth company if we are at the Beach? Worried Krestanovith is going to spend all day with her in your absence? No. I simply wanted to be sure she was going to have a good day as well. I'm pretty sure the other two Golds have been watching over Elynth. At least next time she'll be able to come.
He was waiting to hear who else was going before giving them the exact location. Of course he was also waiting on a woman, which from what he knew of them was fairly typical. He took the time to double check Rath's straps. Everything was in order as Rath preferred it to be.
