Appearance: Dark, long black hair flows down her back to just above her hips. She is slender and well proportionate, only marginally gaining or losing weight. She has light brown eyes, and almonde shaped. Her brows are thin, as she prefers to keep them trimmed and shaped perfectly. Her lips are thin and wide, and her facial features are that of the Hawaiian natives. Her skin is darkly bronzed, from spending hours in the sun at her parents cothold. She stands at 5 feet and 7 inches, weighing 142 pounds.
Personality: Kind and gentle, Ilue has a soft voice. But when she speaks, her voice carries strength and power to it that catches and holds anyone's attention that is within hearing. She has the uncanny ability to get her point across and get even the most stalwart person to bend to her agreement. She doesn't like to force anyone to do something they don't want to do, but will try her damnedest to get them to understand why they must do it. Even if, in the end, they still don't do it, whatever 'it' is. She doesn't like to see any animal abused and will put herself in harms way if she has to to keep the animal safe. She doesn't hold much thought to her own safety if an animal, or human's, life is in danger.
Sturdy and strong, Ilue has an inner strength that is easily hidden by her outward appearance. She often relies on her inner strength more often than not, when she is dealing with difficult people. She has a strong sense of duty and strives to fullfill her duty by protecting the areas around her home. She doesn't hold much up in the area of relationships, and doesn't strive to 'hook up' with anyone, anytime soon. She loves her brown firelizard, Karne, and loves her position as a member of the Dragon Shield. She is very proud of her throwing ability with her two sets of throwing knives, she keeps them hidden on her person when doing her partols. She is envious of her older brother's impression at Haven Weyr, but she's gotten over it, mostly.
Hobbies/Skills: Skilled with throwing knives, very deadly with'em too.
Pets: Brown Karne (4 Turns) - friendly, obedient, protective.
History: Ilue was born as the last child of twelve to Cotholders in Refuge Weyr's territory. She was always on the move, exploring the dense foliage around her home. She'd been bitten by many things, nothing really dangerous or poisonous, except for onse, when she was barely five turns old. She'd been out exploring, again, with her 12 turn old brother, Alvian. She was with him, watching him snare tunnelsnakes, to keep them from their ovines, when one sneaked up beside her and bit her. She screamed and her brother snatched her up and ran back to their parents. The resident Healer was called for and she was given medication for the poison. She survived, and was told to rest for a few days after the attack. She was back out exploring again. Though she was more careful about her surroundings than before.
Ilue was growing up, and catching the eye of a few other boys that had cotholders near her parent's cothold. Ilue didn't really care though. She'd already made plans for her future. She was planning choosing a craft for herself. Upon turning 14, her brother, Alvian, was Searched for Refuge Weyr at the age of 16, and upon not impressing, he joined the Guard when it was created. Some turns later, Alvian sent for Ilue to join him at the Weyr and asked for her to be allowed to join the Guard. She eagerly took in everything that was taught to her once she arrived at the Weyr to begin her training. She became competent at throwing knives and tracking. Working doubly hard to prove her worth. She had heard about the Dragon Shield and was eager to join, but she'd heard the rumors that it was tough to accepted into it, being a female for one. But she didn't let that stop her. She was getting very skilled at tracking, and surprisingly, stalking her intended prey on hunting parties.
Alvian heard that Ilue was in the Guard a while later. He was accepted into the Shield, and put in a request for Ilue to join the Shield as well, at 19 Turns. She finally was accepted into the Shield. She received one of the Firelizard Eggs that had been handed out, and impressed to a brown she named Karne. She trained him to be quick and efficient in his messages. She was partnered for a while, but then her partner was partnered with another Shield member, so Ilue has no partner right now. But she is eager to do her duty as a Dragon Shield member.
