Do you feel like listening to a certain song inspires you to write? Or is there a song that makes you want to write for a certain character?
Thats what this thread is for.
A song that inspires me to write:
The Mystic Dream, Loreena McKennitt

Ooo, I love Loreena McKennitt. I think I have most of her stuff sitting around somewhere...though I think my favorite by her is The Mummer's Dance. The Mystic's Dream and All Souls Night are a close second. :3 It usually depends on my mood... I listen to just about every kind of music. >.>; Though sometimes when I write I do put one song or artist on repeat just because it has a feeling or emotion to it that fits what I'm writing, and I want to keep in that frame of mind. When I was writing up Meri's app, I listened to a lot of Two Steps from Hell. They're a group that does the kind of music you hear in movie trailers and soundtracks. One of my favorite songs of theirs thus far is Heart of Courage (I think I had just that one repeat for awhile for Meri, actually). I find that listening to music without words lets me focus more when writing since part of my brain isn't singing along. :P But some of my best ideas have come from listening to music of all sorts. :3

Me too Kira, I love Soundtrack music just for that reason. No words can often be better. Although when writing a character I sometimes choose to listen to songs with words.
